Last night i ordered wings and things through uber eats and the wings were not cooked the Meat was PINK. I just relocated from Dallas Texas. I eat zaxby's every week and i have never seeing this before. This is highly unacceptable. Regardless how late it maybe the food should be cooked. read more

Ever since Covid, the level of service and basic comprehension has diminished at THIS LOCATION. This location will have you waiting in the drive thru for 10+ minutes with 1 car in front of you then ask you to wait some more when you get to the window. The owner just gives basic replies with zero action. 5 cars are behind me right now and 3 just drove off with no food. Prime location. Lukewarm service. Maya is in there about to cry. Don't waste your time with this location, I live in the area and this is my closest Zaxbys to me. I've been going to this location for almost 2 years and I've had it, I try to give them the benefit of doubt but the order is always wrong, always have missing items, they take forever and don't try to go late at night or you'll spend almost an hour in drive thru, they have horrible service at this location save your self the trouble. read more

I mean to be honest I'm a Canes eater and I had heard so many people big up Zaxby's as more flavorful so I figured I should try it. Even though me and my girl agreed we wanted to try here on the day we were to go she claimed she wanted to try another day. When we pulled up and the parking lot was empty exterio except for 2 cars which were clearly employees she wanted to leave and we parked to find somewhere else to go. While there a few cars came in and I convinced her to stay and try it. Going through the drive-thru there did feel like a lot of options on the menu after being used to Canes simple menu when it came to chicken tenders. We both ended up getting I think a 5 piece tender basket subbing the coleslaw for extra fries. I get extra toast at Canes but as I didn't hear good about their toast and it didn't look that good I went with fries. I also added mozzarella bites since I was there. As far as the food I get why people say it's more flavorful but it's over seasoned to me. The fries were way too seasoned, but they were so much so I think it was this store and instead of Zaxby's as a whole. The toast was not it. Too much seasoning on it and not a fan of just the slice of bread and how it held up. The chicken to me was flavorful but texture was too dry and thin. Not overly dry but drier than my preference. The sauce they have was not good and I could skip on it. The mozzarella bites were cool. The guy at the window, who I think was one of two employees there at the time we got there, was cool ordering with and picking up m so no complaints there. It's funny I realize this review is more about Zaxby's in general instead of this one store but I promise the rating I gave is based on this store. I'm struggling between giving them a 2 or 3 and I'm not sure if it's based on my experience or because I realized I clearly like Canes better. While I don't go to Zaxby's often, I remember what my chicken used to look like. The chicken tenders I received were so small. I could not believe it. Drive through employee told me to hold, 8 minutes later I said "hello" and he finally asked what I wanted. Out of sweet tea. Paid, no receipt or offer of a receipt . Then i was told to park, not even given our drinks while we waited. I had to park in a spot to wait for my food, 15 minutes later I had to walk inside to ask for a refund but they handed me my food. Nice, super clean, eat-in space. Server/cashier was nice and helped with our selection. Signature chicken sandwich had "huge" battered, crispy, and hot chicken patty. I've eaten there twice in the last two months the first time I had it delivered to me at my job. The chicken was cold and overcooked as were the fries. Chalked it up to having it delivered. The second time I went to pick it up. Everything was cold dry and not even eatable. I will not be returning to this location. The management or owner needs to pay more attention to their help / cooks if they plan on staying open for another year just my personal opinion. This was my first time ever in a Zaxby's. I did not realize that they only have stops and wings. I thought they were a regular chicken joint. So I got kind of excited because I love wings and strips. I was also excited to compare them to Canes (spoiler alert....I can't stand Canes). We ordered a family strip meal with 20 strips, fries, Texas toast, and an appetizer of cheese balls. I have to say, their strips were crispy and flaky so the presentation and the texture was very good. But the taste was delicious, for a strip. Now when I first heard about Canes everyone kept saying "the sauce is what makes it so great!" This lead me to believe that they had multiple amazing sauces to dip your strips in. NOPE! They only have the one disgusting fry sauce dip and their strips are awful! At Zaxby's, they DO have multiple sauces for your strips! I asked for 3 extra sauces, was charged for it and they didn't give them to me. The customer service was not friendly at all and the cashier had a very dirty shirt on. Asked the employee for an extra sauce pack and she rolled her eyes, walks off to the back with my bag without saying anything, and returns with it saying she put one extra sauce pack in the bag. Now that I'm home I see it looks like she punched her nails through the top of the sauce pack. You can clearly see two curved nail impressions that broke the seal. Not sure why this location has so many bad reviews. Every time I go by the people are pleasant and the food is good. I normally always get the wing and chicken tender combo. Quite a bit a food for around 9 bucks and some change. The sauces are really good. Food is always fresh. The line moves fast. I think they are just as good as canes if not better. I like the fact that you can get actual real bone in wings here. Thats the deciding factor for me if I am wanting this or canes. read more

I usually frequent at Raising Cane's because I find the chicken juicier than here but I decided to stop by today because this way on the way and it didn't disappoint! This after they forgot all salad dressings (we ordered two salads). This is unacceptable especially since they slice the chicken & then place it on top. This is not the first time either as same thing happened when we ordered on 03/12/21. That time I called the manager before I headed back, explained the issue & asked them to remake my salad. I always wanted to see what Zaxby's was about so being in the area picking up a drink I spotted zaxby's and stop by the drive-thru. Pulling up there was no line so I went straight around and picked up my food, the menu wasn't complex it was rather simple but picking out something was mind-boggling to me because everything looks good. Love the chain! Love the food! I cannot say no to the Buffalo Blue Chicken Zalad during lunch time. Back when I worked in that area, I pretty much ate that salad until I was sick of it, and I still crave it :) The tater chips are mouthwatering and are my guilty pleasure -- they taste so freshly sliced and fried. Also, each zalad entree comes with slices of buttered toast white bread. I'm not supposed to be eating too much fried or oily foods, but it tastes delish! My other favorite salad that is similar is Chili's Buffalo Chicken Salad. If you want to look for more Zaxby's stores, you'll have to drive along the outskirts of Houston such as Spring, Tomball, Cypress, etc. read more

Placed an order for a sandwich meal, pulled up to window and discover I left my wallet at home. Asked if they took Apple Pay via my phone but nope, they don't. Said sorry - I didn't realize I didn't have my wallet. They gave me the meal anyway and said don't worry about it. Worst Zaxby's I have ever been to, I ordered two 6 piece chicken finger plates which normally automatically come with 2 sauces each. In the end we got 0 sauces. This place has gradually gone downhill since it opened. Last night was the icing on the cake! Daughter went through to get wings last night , 20 mins before closing. Obviously they (cook in the back ) was upset about that. The lady taking the order was pushing to for the boneless wings - and my daughter said " no, just regular ones ".. and she heard the staff say "she's gone wait?!?!" She waited a few minutes and the COOK brought the order out the car, he shoved them in the window and said "Next Time GO TO WHATABURGER" when my daughter came home and told me what happened, (restaurant was still open ) I called up there and the manager (Kerra) was apologetic and helpful - she called out the guy that did it (Da'Von) and said "a cook should've never walked out to the car!! " that's how I knew it was the cook said she was going to write him up and asked that I do so as well.. normally wouldn't take the time to do this - but have noticed over the last year that not only the staff but the food and presentation , has all gone down hill - (I went there 3 or 4 months ago and orders kids meal for my son .. bread was cold and like the pulled it out of a freezer - back when the restaurant opened, bread was warm and toasted - little things like that - salads aren't as good as they used to be.. etc. when my daughter came home and opened the bag - they put in 30 napkins (she ordered 10 dry wings, and a water ) 8 packages of silverware, 4 cookies, sugar packets salt packets .. you name it! (You could tell the guy was just trying to be a jerk). And the wings were thrown in the box celery on top . Just a mess! (Just wrote this, on the off chance someone else goes through there and thinks "is it my imagination or is the food and service not like I remembered? ".
