My daughter wanted to get her ears pierced for her 13th birthday and I had heard wonderful things about Zebra from many friends. We were ushered in and spoke with a kind employee, Arii, who helped us with the check-in process and patiently explained everything to us. Then, we waited about 20 minutes before we were called in for our appointment. The piercer was Amar and she rocked! My daughter is terrified of needles and this was super quick. All in all, this was fabulous! Who knows? Maybe one day I'll finally get my first piercing at age 47. If I do, I know where to go! read more

I got helped by Arii and Anaica and they made our visit a breeze, got my ears pierced the same time as my 6 month old, for keepsakes! It went well with the piercing and our piercer was very accommodating and patient with my 6 month old baby. I forgot her name,since my nerves were running high having my baby's ears pierced. Overall, though on the pricey end, I would still recommend this piercing studio rather than places that use piercing guns. My 15-year-old daughter had a gift card burning a hole in her pocket so off to Berkeley in the rain to wait in line for less than 45minutes. Upon arrival, a very nice doorman told us the wait time and we said no problem. The line moved quickly and the staff was awesome in helping my daughter with jewelry choices and proper cleaning and care. They gave us a number and told us to come back in an hour and a half which was perfect timing to shop around and get lunch. Upon our return, we were greeted very warmly and when our number was called we met Tim. OMG, THIS GUY WAS SO AMAZING! I'm little too much skeptical about piercing places like if they're professional and or friendly enough or sanitary, safety...The other day, i heard about Zebra family from one of my customers and decided to give it a shot. BECAUSE I WAS DONE WAITING AND SEARCHING LOL. It'd been decades since I've got my first so i was nervous and excited. Upon my arrival, i was greeted by this friendly girl and she asked me some questions for my visit and filled up an application and explained everything about getting the piercings and the healing process. They offer you a huge variety of jewelry there at the store. I brought my own earrings BUT the earrings they have are like made of different material (I don't remember lol) which is good for the healing. So i did buy a pair from there! They offer you some anti bacterial healing solutions too and ofc i bought that too! PRICING WAS REASONABLE! Piercing on both sides: $40 A pair of earrings: $20 The solution: $10 Total:$70 plus tip for the artist! PROCEDURE WAS QUICK AND PROFESSIONAL! Timothy did my piercings and thank goodness, it wasn't hurtful! OVERALL, everything is good! Everyone is welcoming and friendly here. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

I use to come here for all my piercings years ago. I decided to come here for jewelry and a repiercing. It's the same as I remember. The people are polite, helpful and patient. The jewelry is on the expensive side but I've never had problems with my ears being bothering me like they normally do with other jewelry. The wait was 10 minutes not bad at all. They also offered drinks while waiting. Cicada was so nice and patient. Definitely will continue to come whenever I need a new piercing. read more
