It's ok. Previously I had Burt beef ends was delicious. Today had the pecan chicken which totally seemed void of flavor.

We've been going to Zeb's since they opened. They usually have great lunch specials. On Monday's they have a burger special. Full bar available for those who like a cocktail or a beer with their meal. Definitely not skimpy on servings. They have a lot of booths and a few tables. When you walk in the doors, to the right is the bar and to the left is the dining area. They have an outdoor dining area available in the summer. Some of the servers are more personable than others and some are more attentive than others also. Their chili is very tasty -- not overly spicy where it burns your mouth, but just enough to make the top of your head tingle. The chef salad was very generous, and the prime rib sandwich -- very delicious!

Zeb's has the best burgers we've had in town - juicy, grilled, and delicious! We went today for their Monday special - a Zeb burger (tomato, lettuce) is $5 and specialty burgers are $7. Hat tip to fellow yelp elite Kay H. for the inspiration! We got the Zeb's burger and the smoked gouda burger (with yummy carmelized onions). The bun integrity was very good - it stayed together until the very last bite, and wasn't so thick as to be intrusive. It was not overdone (although one of our medium rare burgers was half well-done, half medium rare - what? How does this happen?). I give the burgers 5 stars. I was surprised by the upcharge for a slice of onion. There are no pickles. We purposely went at an off hour (1:45) for lunch, so we could avoid crowds. However, the waitress we had, while pleasant, gave such inattentive service that it dropped our review down to 3 stars. She filled our drinks once, even though they were empty almost the whole time. She came back and checked on our table *after* we finished dining. What if we had had a problem? And, it took a long time to even take our order (let alone bring it to the table), even with only a few tables filled. I cannot imagine how long of a wait it must be during peak dining hours. The onion rings (an additional $1.25) were large - three came, to replace the fries. They were tasty but greasy - I would not get them again.

Ordered medium well...came back well done steak and cold mashed potatoes

We came here because we had come before and received good food. However, tonight I'm said to say it was not very good. We ordered half and order of onion rings which were very greasy. We each ordered the 10 ounce sirloin steak. My husband ordered his with the mashed potatoes. We got our salads and each of us had rotten, slimy lettuce in our bowls. So we get our dinners. Mine was medium well. No flavor at all! It was hard to cut. My mother got hers well done. Again no flavor. My husband got his medium well, came out well with NO flavor. We had to get a bottle of A-1 Steaksauce to try and make it have some flavor. My husband's mashed potatoes were cold and again, no seasoning and no flavor. Our waitress asked us how dinner was because there was still meat left on our plates. We said not good and the waitress said nothing. No apology, nothing. She asked if we wanted dessert and our bill. Very disappointed for the $18.95 we each paid for these horrible dinners!!!!!

I came here with my friends. It was Monday so they have very good burgers offers for Mondays and Thursdays. I ordered the gouda cheese burger. I requested medium well beef. It takes long to get your orders done and it takes longer to be seated. Maybe because of the offer. The burger was very good portion. Well cooked and tasty. I ordered fries as side dish. Tgey have big fat crumble coted fries. Very delicious. I asked for ranch sauce. Which was very good combination. I liked it. I might come here again but in less busy time.

My first time here, I had the Monday deal. I ordered the Smoked Gouda Cheese Burger with regular french fries. It was super delicious and totally fulfilling for a hungry stomach. The only thing that bothered me about this place is the wait, we had to wait like 30 minutes or even more. But I would come back for the burger and the deal !

I think that Zeb's is in an odd location (Texas Corners), unless you live nearby then you are probably really glad that it is here. The double Bloody Mary for $2 was spicy and had a nice flavor and the price was right. Their other alcohol selections are interesting too (e.g., pear cider). I had a turkey sandwich with jalapeños with a side salad with jalapeño ranch dressing and it was very good. My husband had the Teriyaki wrap and sweet potato fries. He said that the fries were great but the wrap was only okay. Total bill for our group of 5 for Sunday lunch including 4 alcoholic drinks was $80.

We chose Brick and Brine to celebrate a very special Anniversary!…read more Brick and Brine provided us with an absolutely phenomenal dining experience!! Our dinner stretched out over a nearly 3 hour time period, but felt like it flew by at the same time! Never rushed, but intentional and SO enjoyed!! Our waiter was fabulous and made sure that our every need (and want!) was met. He went over and above for us and we loved every moment!! I wish I had gotten his name to mention here! We started our evening browsing the cocktail menu. The offerings are vast! We ordered two different kinds of old fashioned options, always a favorite! One had very unique twist and arrived on fire/smoking! The drink continued to have a smoke effect, but this did not highly alter the flavor! It was delicious and fun! "It adds drama" is how our waiter put it, and he was right! :) It was called "Fire House No. 4". Next we perused the appetizer section. The choices were excellent and we landed on the meatballs, going off of recommendations and previous experience! For meatballs, they were indeed quite delicious but if I'm being completely honest I don't think I'd choose them again. I would venture out a little more. The scallops came highly recommended by our waiter. Also highly recommended was the steak tartare! After our appetizer we ordered a wedge salad. This was wonderful! It mimics what you'd traditionally expect from a wedge salad - this one served with multiple small wedges of iceberg lettuce - but the toppings elevate so nicely! Bleu cheese, the most delicious marinated tomatoes, pickled red onions, and the best, most flavorful chunks of bacon! This was a favorite!! It was finally time to decide on entrees. This was tough! There are many choices I'd like to try and we will definitely be back to try some more. Because this was a special meal and we had heard very good things, both of us ordered the ribeye steak. This is a large piece of meat that arrived with mouthwatering presentation. While the flavors were most definitely evident of a quality piece of meat, I would personally not choose this exact entree again. The meat was well cooked, and done to my requested level, but arrived not very warm. I like my food hot and while I acknowledge that a fine steak presentation likely requires a rest time, my own opinion is put off when I feel like my food is in any way on the cold side. I did not complain about this - and it doesn't affect my rating, but it is worth noting and something I'd like to know when making a decision for ordering! Other entrees that I saw coming out around me that I am SO very interested in trying on a future visit were the fried chicken (WOW! The presentation on this dish is NEXT level!) and the salmon! Everything I saw coming to nearby tables looked quite stunning and I'd quite honestly like to try each dish from their menu! ;) This place is quality, it is very evident! We paired our dinner entree with two side items. The side items are large, intended to serve multiple people. We chose the crispy fingerling potatoes and the Brussels sprouts. Both were perfection! We loved them! The Brussels sprouts had SO much flavor! Even the leftovers the next day were so delectable! We finished our meal with the most exceptional dessert! It was a hard decision but we chose the Chocolate Hazelnut Flourless Torte! AMAZING! It was served with an orange creamsicle ice cream which sounds like a strange accompaniment for these flavors but it fit so very well with the dish. The hazelnut crémeux on the side was also exceptional - just a really great dessert, all around! Alongside our dessert we ordered an elevated espresso that was absolute perfection! One of THE best dessert cocktail beverages I have ever had! I highly recommend this either as your dessert or as an accompaniment! So, so good! Even though there were a couple of things during this meal that I personally would not choose to order again, everything was still superb! I can't choose any less than five very deserved stars!! This was such a great experience at a very fine, local, Kalamazoo restaurant!! Be prepared to spend some five star dollar amounts, but also be prepared to receive a five star, not just meal, but entire experience!! ;)

We had a really great waitress, I wish I would have gotten her name! She was doing the job of hostess and waitress to multiple tables, and doing it all very well! We ordered a chicken sandwich and a salad for our lunch entrees! Both were very good and presented very well! While the food is good and quality feels high - the price is also on the high side. For a sandwich and a salad, waters to drink, we spent over $50 for our lunch! Just something to be aware of! While we had time - the experience was not fast. Something to be aware of if needing a quick lunch. The restaurant was not overly busy but the wait was a little long to receive our order. Everyone was using their hands to pick up meats and cheese as and jam and fruit! The food was very good and the portion was really large. I am a big eater and this was much. The price was reasonable. We had one waiter -the same one- that took the drink orders then took the food orders and took care of the payments! He had bussing help but he was inexperienced and unavailable for guest assistance. The service was horrible! It took one hour to get a cup of coffee. Orders took a long time to arrive another 40 min after coffee. Our check took another 40 min to be produced! After all that a 23% tip was automatically applied!! Wow! Too much under the circumstances. The place is nice with a nice atmosphere and clean. The bathrooms are clean although it ran out of paper. We may try it again but with a different waiter. One more thing... burritos should not be served with toast. Fries or hash browns are a better choice.

Our server was nice enough, but again for the price you're paying, you'd really expect a phenomenal experience. She was no more or less friendly than a server at Applebee's. My fiance had put on our reservation that it was our 1-year anniversary, so we thought at least somebody would say congratulations (as they do at other nice places in Kalamazoo), but it went completely unremarked upon. We didn't expect a free dessert or anything, but again, for what we paid for the meal, we expected them to at least mention the occasion. It's not a bad restaurant.
