Update: More problems from the initial setup…read more After being gone for a work trip, I came home to a flooded attic where the AC unit sat. Given the fact I still havent heard from the owner Henry of TAR from my previous issue with the main AC board, I called another repair company (Environmental Air Systems). This was the same company that came and out fixed the previous issue where my thermostats were not communicating with the unit. The reason was because the board was fried due to poor installation from TAR. Back to the most recent issue, appears there is a clog in the drain pipe near a bathroom sink. So how did the unit keep running (and flooding) vs shutoff and/or go into the backup drain pan? Well that's because TAR never installed the wiring of the SafeT shut off piece (see pic). It was placed on the pipe but upon a close inspection, I lifted the piece only to find the wires wrapped as if they went into the unit but sadly never were installed. The level of professionalism with their initial service keeps getting worse. And worst, I'm sure I'll never hear from Henry or TAR.

Giving us immediate quotes ranging from 12k with one being 45k with the highest quote. Michael and his wife came out from shield tech and actually assessed the issues. They found that the coil was clogged and the system had been overcharged by the previous tech that came out to look. Michael was transparent and showed me all of his numbers and readings. He fixed the issues with the system and has it running PERFECTLY. We went from "you have to replace this" with others to "let's fix the issues" with Michael. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
