I write very few reviews. The number of my reviews is as low as the number of hamburgers I eat. I will never eat another hamburger at Zeebs as it was truly ordinary. The meat had NO "grill" flavor whatsoever. The meat was not seasoned in any way. I ordered a cheese-burger and the cheese was a cold after thought, not melted on the beef patty. The bun is some generic Sam's club piece of bread, again with no taste. I asked for extra onions and they were almost non-existent. Any fast food restaurant within Las Cruces offers a much more satisfying taste sensation, with many more options on the menu. I always want to support local business, but this place will never get another dime from me as it was a total disappointment! read more

On Friday June 11, my husband and I went to Zeebs like we do everyday. I wanted to know why all the doors are locked it's 745 and Zeebs closes at 830? Both double doors and single doors are locked? The employees inside see us go to the door and they ignore us, a employee walks out to give a customer some fruit ice I asked if their closed and she said "yes". The drive thru is completely backed up. It's actually very, very annoying because we go to your restaurant everyday and or every evening for fruit ice. What's the point in having a sign that reads your hours of operation if they aren't being followed? read more

NICE PLACE WITH PRETTY GOOD BURGERS AND FRIES AT A GOOD PRICE Zeebs opened in 2015 on North Valley across from Mayfield High School. The owner put a lot of money into it and it is a bright, clean, comfortable place for a casual meal. It is an order at the front counter kind of place. They bring the food to your table. The menu at Zeebs is quite limited: they offer burgers, fries, a chicken sandwich, a chicken wrap, a hotdog, cold drinks, and their "fruit ice." That's about it. The prices are very reasonable as they strive to cash in on the Mayfield students. I sampled their DOUBLE DOUBLE CHEESEBURGER WITH GREEN CHILE, their fries, and the fruit ice. You might think that a double double burger would be pretty big, right? No. Think again. The burgers served here are on the small side. I have in the past suggested that they offer a large "man-sized" burger, but no one listens to me. That is the main reason why I have not been back in three years.....I like big burgers. The fries are thin, crispy, and flavorful. I liked the fries. The burger was somewhat juicy and flavorful. The bun held up well despite being thin. The green chile was parimonious and kind of nondescript as far as flavor. The fixins were ok but nothing to write home about. All-in-all, this was a pretty good burger, but it was small. The fruit ice lacked flavor and just didn't do anything for me. I'll stick with a coke. This joint would beat a fast food place if the menu were larger. Some folks will find the options just too limited. I don't believe the burger compares with Wendy's version and, of course, they don't offer those wonderful Wendy's salads. What to expect if you go: A clean, decent place for a quick, casual meal, prices that are very reasonable, a very restricted menu, and food that is above average in quality. If you don't want a burger or chicken wrap you might be out of luck. If you like big burgers, you will be out of luck. I have been wanting to check out Zeeb's since it opened up around the corner from my house. I pass it daily on the way to work and usually the parking lot is full. I finally got out of the house on the way to work in time to hit the drive thru. Great prices-I got the double burger combo-$6.95. They asked if I wanted green chile added-usually a must have for me, but they admitted it was not hot, but mild flavored. For their honesty, I gave them the 5 stars--I love my chile, but I want it hot!! The guy at the window was friendly and I had my meal to go in no time at all. Now the real information-GREAT burger! Fresh lettuce, pickles still crisp, and onion. I do not like tomatoes and asked for them to be held. Fries nice and hot even after a 10 minute drive to work. Price, quality, and decent proportions--all a plus for Zeeb's. Next time, I will try one of the fruit ice's. I may take the family for a walk down to the restaurant for an evening out experience. My family tried this place today, just looking to try the frozen ice, but ended up trying the burgers and fries. WOW...what a great decision. I had the green chile cheeseburger with fries and berry ice. Delicious! I had some of the fries left over and to my surprise, the cold fries were just as good as they are hot. we tried zeebs 4 or 5 days after they opened for business. the hamburger patty must have been frozen, perhaps from sam's club. the meat was not good quality. too bad they put so much work into remodeling, and then serve bad meat. the patty was thin, greasy, and overdone. it is hard to cook such a thin patty. the fries were good, even though a little greasy. will not return. why, when five guys, and blake's uses sooo much better meat. read more

Very nice experience. My burger was nothing spectacular but tasty and well made. The crispy fries are delish. What really sets this place apart is the fruit ice option. You can get a soda with your meal or a cup of fruit ice. My daughters had peach and melon flavored ice. Very refreshing on a hot Las cruces day. The service was quick and friendly. Aside from the crazy buisness, they should get being located right across from the school can't see them getting much business during the summer.
