It took them 3 tries to order my correct contact lens prescription. The first time, they had ordered last years, so I called once I got the email receipt. The girl made it sound like I was the one that placed the order with the wrong prescription They promised it would be corrected, so I waited another week. since they are only open M-F during normal work hours, I was able to get my husband to pick it up for me. Once again WRONG. Now I'm annoyed, got them on the phone, and I never once heard an apology. It was met with snarky answers and the resolution offered was that they would throw in a couple pairs but I would need to come back to pick it up in a few days. I am not taking off work to pick up something that was supposed to be in my possession 3 weeks ago. He told me "can't your husband do it again?" I explained to him how we shouldn't be relying on my husband to fix THEIR MISTAKE. He ended saying he will just ship them to my house. I am disappointed with their declining service. Here's the scoop: I got my glasses and contacts here last year for a really reasonable price. I remembered them being so helpful and honest. A few days ago, I sat on my glasses and cracked the frames! so I started wearing contacts again. Then last night, my contact got stuck in my eye. I tried for an hour to get it out. I finally had to go to sleep and this morning I could not get it out and my eye was so red and irritated. This has never happened to me before. I called RR Optometry today and explained the situation and they said I could come in immediately. Dori looked at my eye with her optometric equipment and discovered the contact was up inside of my eyelid. She was able to successfully remove the contact from my eye like a pro sergeant! OMG -What a relief. I was so gracious and wanted to pay her for her time. She wouldn't let me pay her and just asked if I'd leave a review instead! At the same time they got me a new pair of frames (only $49) and swapped my lenses out. She also gave me lens cleaner and eye drops to care for my eye just because she genuinely cared for me. It feels so good to know that other people love and care for others. I don't know what I would've done without her expert care and compassion. First example, they were unable to acquire a certain brand of contacts however I was charged for them and it took me months of calling to get my refund. Each time I called they said "it's coming" and the last call I guess someone who knows how to process refunds did it right then and there. This took maybe 2.5 months. Second example, I had to keep going back to get my glasses fixed since I literally can't see out of them. They would either send it back to the technicians or try to fix them in the office and basically just said "keep wearing them". The back and forth, shipping of the glasses, the delay in the glasses arriving themselves took over a year. So I finally told them these aren't working out a year had passed and I was SOL. Dr. dodge even mentioned to them to let me have a new pair but I was denied. I asked to speak to the office manager and told her that Dr Dodge was okay with it and she never called me back. I've been seeing Dr. Dodge for 15 years and only since they moved to the new office it's been painful dealing with the office staff.
