You're about to give up and then you meet Raymond. Raymond would have loved to have sold me what he had on display (of course who wouldn't), but when I wasn't finding exactly what I was looking for he reached out to his SoCal Lindberg representative and found he had a frame sample of the right shape and size, and another frame of the right color. They also did the research to determine the color of one could be had on the shape of the other. The rep brought them up to Studio City from Beverly Hills so I could see them the very next day at VeyeP. It's really hard to find service like this these days. Thanks Raymond (and Lindberg).

It had been years since I had an eye exam, so I had that weird feeling of being out of the loop with any of the terms or options. I found this place through the VSP insurance website as I have insurance through my husband's work…read more I had zero expectations as it was my first time. It started off a little meh for me as there is only street parking and as I am disabled, the walk was a little hard for me. BUT the service totally made the walk worthwhile. I did pay extra for the eye X-ray thingie but that was so much better than getting my eyes dilated. I'm diabetic as well and I have to get my eyes checked yearly to ensure that my eyes are ok. This was a much easier exam than getting the dilation. Much easier and much safer for me. Then I got taken to the back and the optometrist was great as well. She recommended some things and talked with me about some other issues as well. She also told me that the pores on my eye lids were getting gunky and to start doing warm eye compresses at night and it has been helping. Then the nicest very helpful lady... I wished I had gotten her name... Helped me to find new glasses. She was so helpful in bringing glasses to me and looking up colors for me and just being overall extremely helpful. Normally I'm used to being told, go and look and see what glasses you like... Instead here, she assisted me with everything which was very much appreciated. Overall, the parking sucked but I guess that's LA.... Lol BUT the service was amazing and I think I might've finally found my permanent optometrist!!

My experience was similar as last time. They are not transparent with the fees they charge you until after you swipe your credit card. I booked an appointment over the phone and was told that my eye exam is $30 along with a $75 contacts fitting fee. My insurance covers my eye exam, so I should only be charged $75. This additional retinal exam was not clarified over the phone. If this were to be clear, then I would have opted out because I have no need for this. I was overcharged. I called AND texted to make things right and they come up with excuses that I signed a form that I never did sign and that they did call me. Transparency is this office's biggest weakness. As a patient here, you're simply a paying customer who's only valued for your business versus your overall wellbeing.

And gave me a rebate last year. This year they totally forgot. When I told them that they gave me my rebate late and that they should give me a refund they laughed at me. They made me go there three times last year for contacts and glasses last year. But this year they could care less about our family. Lying about the rebate saying I have 90 days when it clearly says on the rebate 60 days. I had to ask about the rebate which was the 60th day. The office manager had the nerve to tell us over and over that it was 90 days. Until my husband got on the phone and told her to read the rebate. They said they Will call us back the following week but never did. They only care about their sales. I've been so loyal to them since I've been referred. And drove out of my way to go here. I'm never going here again. I will be reporting this business to the bbb and wherever else I can!

First example, they were unable to acquire a certain brand of contacts however I was charged for them and it took me months of calling to get my refund. Each time I called they said "it's coming" and the last call I guess someone who knows how to process refunds did it right then and there. This took maybe 2.5 months. Second example, I had to keep going back to get my glasses fixed since I literally can't see out of them. They would either send it back to the technicians or try to fix them in the office and basically just said "keep wearing them". The back and forth, shipping of the glasses, the delay in the glasses arriving themselves took over a year. So I finally told them these aren't working out a year had passed and I was SOL. Dr. dodge even mentioned to them to let me have a new pair but I was denied. I asked to speak to the office manager and told her that Dr Dodge was okay with it and she never called me back. I've been seeing Dr. Dodge for 15 years and only since they moved to the new office it's been painful dealing with the office staff. I would highly recommend him for care however if you can get your glasses or contacts online just go that route.
