I tried it for the first time a while back and had the pizza and wings lunch special. The pizza was fine and I was thinking I should've asked for my wings extra crispy. My fruit punch drink was really good. The wiener and staff were really nice and the service was good. The ambiance is cool as well. The price was reasonable.

Zeke's Pizza opened in what I believe used to be the Big Brothers/Big Sisters office. I'd heard their story about an immigrant starting a small business, which I'm always happy to support, and honestly wish I had tried them sooner. Some of the culinary offerings are a bit unconventional, like promoting both coffee and pizza. I ended up trying both, even though it's not my typical pairing. The espresso was good, and I ordered the personal Meat Lovers pizza. It was solid overall, though not the best pizza within a one-mile radius. The space is clean and inviting, though the layout feels a little unusual for a restaurant. Service is counter-style and was friendly, but the communication between the kitchen and front of house seemed off. My friend didn't get the croissant she ordered because they had run out, and unfortunately no one told her until much later. They did make it right with a substitution, but it would've been better to know up front. We were also confused about whether we were supposed to bus our own table since there weren't any visible trash cans. We ended up asking and learned that bussing isn't expected. Overall, it's a good spot with potential, and worth a visit.

This is my second time at Zeke's but not my last. Walked in for lunch after a long morning at work and was warmly greeted by the nicest man behind the counter. He recommended the special, which was a personal sundried tomato chicken spinach pizza. All he had to say was sundried tomatoes and he had me! While I paid the gentleman felt bad about now offering me a drink, so he offered me one complimentary. II checked out the dining area while I set up my computer for work. It did not take long for my pipping hot pizza to come my way. It was a tiny, but mighty and filled with toppings that with each bite got better and better. I love how the tomatoes complemented the chicken and spinach so well. Each bite was so full of flavor that I was very sad when I got full. Thankfully I had two more slices left that I happily ate a couple of hours later. I am happy to see that Zekes is thriving and growing! This is not only a place for pizza and coffee, but a gathering spot and safe place for all! I got to check out one of the co-working spaces and I can't wait to see what will happen with this and the rest of the building.

Very happy to see this new pizza shop open up downtown, even better to know that they are serving gelato. Right picked up a supreme personal pizza it came out so hot and fresh and delicious the sauce amazing nice and cheesy just the way I like it. The crust soft but yet crunchy. The salted caramel gelato was nice and creamy and refreshing . Very friendly staff I've sent a few people since I've gone, and everyone loves it

Oh man I rarely write a one star, my experience was far from what I thought it would be. You order at the counter and sit down, we ordered a small pizza, 8 wings, a Cesar salad with ranch and a side of marinara sauce. The pizza was undercooked.. it was gummy and so when they started to bring out our other food we let the server know and to our surprise they took the pizza we had started eating and recooked the same pizza... pictures are included. I am not a chef but I have my food handlers license and I don't think that's something that is permitted but I could be wrong. The Cesar salad was basic honestly a bagged Cesar salad Kit has more to it. The wings are AWFUL they are the equivalent of buying frozen wings from the grocery store. And the marinara sauce was bad like expired bad. They brought us out the pizza and it's like maybe the equivalent of a homemade Peter piper pizza. I hope they take the time during the start of their business to grow and learn.

We had lunch earlier this week here, and I ordered the Pollo Pizza. The pizza was ok. The establishment was clean, the staff, two young women, were friendly, and the owner was really nice.I thought the light fixtures offered a unique atmosphere. It should be noted that the parking lot across the street, featuring a huge mural, offers free parking if you inform them that you are dining here. Additionally, they offer spaces for individuals seeking a room to work or study.

We ordered the pineapple and ham personal pizza and it was delicious. The service was great and we will definitely be back to try the wings.

Popped in here for lunch on a Tuesday. I got a personal pizza with pepperoni and a fountain drink. Prices were reasonable and The staff was so nice and the service was fast. They sell gelato from frost and coffee. I definitely want to come back and try their wings.

We so rarely encounter attitude in Tucson, that our experience at your coffee shop on Saturday…read morereally took us aback. All 4 of us have extensive experience in the hospitality industry and appreciate the stresses. Since we are unfailingly friendly customers, as so many servers are, & because there were only 6 other customers at your coffee shop at the time, sharing our experience is warranted. We visited the Main Gate shop just after noon on Saturday, 4/18. The barista was wearing a cap & O'Neill-branded t-shirt; he has a salt & pepper beard. Requesting my cappuccino in a ceramic cup, he stated, with obvious exasperation, "You can just say 'for here'." He was also visibly irritated when we requested 3 Dirty Chais of various sizes & shot strength, as if this request was overly complicated. We would have ordered food, but he was so unwelcoming we did not. Nor did we linger. We have visited this location other times and have only been treated warmly. Clearly this barista does not represent the customer service your employees normally provide. You can train people to make a good coffee. Training them to be pleasant is more complicated & best documented. Hence, this review. An unpleasant experience like this has no place in Tucson. It's not who we are & it's not who you are either, I know. We hope this gentleman finds another line of work soon

If Tucson has a heartbeat, part of it lives inside Talega Coffee Roasters…read more I used to live next door, and honestly, they were the only thing keeping me in Armory Park as long as I stayed. When I finally moved, I thought the hardest part would be adding 30 minutes to my commute. It wasn't. It was losing that daily routine of walking into a place that feels so real and personal. Talega isn't just a coffee shop. It feels intimate in a way that's hard to find now. You can tell Tyler & Rene actually care. Not just about the coffee, but about the people who come in and the community around them. Nothing about it feels transactional. You're remembered, conversations matter, and it feels grounded in something genuine. Their seasonal drinks are what really set them apart. They are not cheap grabs for attention or copies of whatever is trending online. The ideas feel inspired and intentional. (Their maize latte and miso latte were perfect) You can tell there is real thought behind what they put on the menu. It reflects a level of care for the craft that is especially rare. It's been incredible to watch how far they've come since they started. They've grown without losing what makes them special, which is not easy to do. I don't live next door anymore, but I will never stop being a regular and I will never stop drinking the Maize latte (I literally dream about it).

I have to say, their drink was so good that I almost missed being at the finish line in time for my bf! Talega was so intriguing to me that I had to google what it meant. "Talega coffee is an artisanal method that uses a talega, a cotton bag traditionally used to carry coins. Over time, it was discovered that these bags were ideal for filtering coffee, giving rise to this traditional method. In addition, the word "talega" comes from Arabic and means "to hang," which refers to the original use of these bags. The bag is made of cotton, a material widely used in Mexico since ancient times, especially during the Mexica period for making clothes. Likewise, the cotton, made of 100% cotton, is a completely organic product ideal for preparing coffee. Therefore, cotton, composed of 90% cellulose, does not introduce foreign odors or flavors to the coffee and is insoluble in water." via huupa.coffee The owners, Tyler and Renee, were so wonderful. I had such a nice time chatting with them about coffee in general and what a beautiful place and concept and vibe they have at their shop! If you've been to Telega, you know how beautiful and dreamy the spot is. It feels so cozy, like a living room of your best friend's house. But, it also feels like you are in the lobby of a very artsy hotel. They have such creative and intriguing seasonal drinks, manzana latte, miso maple flat white, and picca latte. I didn't get a chance to try them but I got their iced matcha with oat and it was so good! Just perfect. I sent my bf and his bro here the next day and they also loved their coffee so much! We def need to come back to visit Tucson and especially to visit their coffee shop again. My bf said his second order of coffee, their machine wasn't working so it was on the house. They are so generous! We came back on our way out and stopped by them again because my bf insisting for paying his cortado but it was after 2pm. We realized when we got there.. Well, this just means we def will need to come back and I think my bf and his peeps are already considering coming back for next year Tour de Tucson so I can't wait to come back to Talega again!
