My current lasher moved too far away so I was seeking a reputable salon for my fills, as any good client I made my appointment two weeks out for their earliest appointment (with a lasher with good reviews). A week later I received a message that my appointment was moved from the morning to the afternoon. This didn't work with my schedule so I went online to rebook my appointment. Now, there are fewer morning appointments available and I'm having to push back my length of time between fills. I found an early appointment, on a different day, with a deferent artist that had good reviews so I booked that. I received the 48 hour confirmation for my appointment, and confirmed right away. Fast forward to MIDNIGHT that same day (the day before my appointment!!) and I get a text saying that my appointment is now with a completely different lasher and a later time. Needless to say, I cancelled my appointment and I will go to another salon. I don't understand where this is acceptable. I hear horror stories all the time about clients cancelling last minute and trying to dictate their lashers schedules. Never would I think a SALON do this.

I use to have to schedule my days around my morning brow routine which took me 2 hours, plucking (if needed), shading in (everyday), drawing fine lines (every day) and shaping (everyday). Now I wake up and just have to wash my face and apply mascara. No fussing around with my brows anymore. I told the nail tech what I wanted, he showed me maybe 12 different shades in cats eye. None of them were really the baby Pink that I wanted. I asked him " there's no pink?" and he pointed at the shades I was looking at. The manicure was fine, it's not the color I wanted, but he did a good job. They sent me to a different tech for my pedicure, and she did not know how the cats eye polish even worked. She didn't know how to use the magnet, she couldn't figure out how to get it to work, and instead of asking for help right away, she just kept trying different things. I'm really unhappy with how my nails and toes came out. They don't match. While I was checking out, I see a tray of all these beautiful summer shades, including the baby pink that I wanted. I was informed I was looking at the only 12 shades of cats eye they had. I let the manager know that I was a very unhappy, and I was told that it's fine, I'll get the color I want next time, it's not a big deal. And I understand that for them it's not a big deal because it's not their $120 that just got wasted or the 2 1/2 hours that took them to do my nails and feet. There was no apology that the nail tech I was given for my pedicure was incompetent and didn't know how to use the materials in the salon. So I do not recommend the salon to anybody. I've been searching for a new Nail Salon for about six months, and this place is not going to be it. Highly incompetent and overpriced. No offer to take some money off for their incompetency. She gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. It's been really hard to find good stylist in Florida. And The Bohèm is definitely my hair's home. The decor and style of the salon is chic yet laid back. It feels like you are hanging out in someone's well designed living room. And they offer the best cappuccinos and coffee drinks. There's ample, free parking their lot. There's just not enough good things I can say about this place. And this is coming from someone who moved from Los Angeles where the standard and talent for stylists is top-notch.
