Upon our arrival, the salon team was ordering lunch and told us we needed to wait until they were finished ordering. This interaction served as our greeting into the salon, and it felt extremely unprofessional. We had expected a higher level of customer service. One of us had arrived with clean hair and was ready for the styling and was ready to have it styled. The other one of us needed to have our hair washed and blown out before the styling. The hair stylists made it seem like an issue that we both wanted to have our hair styled, and of the three stylists in the salon, apparently, only one of them was going to be able to complete the hair styling. Our services felt rushed and not personalized. We both had inspiration photos of how we had wanted our hair to be styled, and neither of us had our hair styled anywhere near what we had asked for. I had to re-do my hair after the fact- it was not secure, and you could clearly see all of the black bobby pins in my light brunette hair. It did not look professionally done at all. I was disappointed in the way we were treated and the actual services themselves. We had chosen Moxie so that we could enjoy the time leading up to the wedding; however, it only led to more stress. It was not worth the $200. I would not recommend this salon based on the lack of customer service and the poor quality of styling.

I have very fine dark blonde hair, so I'm always careful about who I trust with highlights, but she did an absolutely amazing job. The highlight came out perfectly--bright, and nice the way i wanted it. I have been going to her now for 18 months since my last review and her hair styling just gets better and better. I have given her numerous referrals because she IS that good. Her sweetness has also increased BTW!!!! LOL In a day and age when customer service is a thing of the past, every single time I walk through her door I enter with utter excitement and joy. Wendy the owner, took one look at my hair that was orange from the previous salon. She took pity on me and worked me in between customers to make me presentable again. I am so grateful for the great staff and highly trained stylist. Not a trendy looking place, just fantastic results. Wendy and Desiree are the best. Took a card (from Alexandra) for reference. As it has been cold outside for the last couple days, when I called to make my appointment, I added in a blow dry (which I also usually do myself). I was taken right away at my appointment time. They looked at my hair and figured out the best color. In no time, the color was expertly applied (thank you Anna) and I was "cooking". After a wonderful shampoo, off to get my hair blown out. Alexandra did a fantastic job! Wish I had an event or some such to dress up for as my hair hasn't looked this good in some time.
