I've gotten massage therapy, physical therapy, acupuncture, chiropractor - whatever you can do for your back I've tried... but I didn't know a professional stretching clinic existed. They were very prompt to follow up and schedule my appointment. A couple days later I was getting stretched in a very nice and clean facility by Delaney. They explained the whole process, asked me some questions and got me on the table. I appreciate that everyone there has certification and most have studied in a related field -like exercise science. My back felt amazing leaving. Delaney had me walk around to make sure I was happy and I look forward to being a regular costumer in one of their monthly tier programs.

I have chronic severe pain in my neck, so thought I'd give yoga a try. I walked into the Martha Gordon Yoga Studio completely new to yoga and to be honest, quite nervous because I have astonishingly inflexible muscles. Martha has been great about offering modifications for me to safely perform the workouts and, having just completed my final day of the 20-20 deal, I was thrilled to realize that for the first time in my life, I can touch my hands flat to the floor without bending my knees! - I could previously only graze the top of my feet with the tip of my fingers. I'm a very peculiar person. I wasn't sure how well I would fit in at a boxing club. To my pleasant discovery, the coaches (Emily and Clif) run a very inclusive club and actively manage conflicts between members if they occur. Members are expected to leave any prejudices at home before they arrive at the gym, and the coaches enforce that. On my first visit, as I was ascertaining how comfortable I would be in this new environment, I saw the first thing that let me know the coaches genuinely care about the community. There was a class in session for people with Parkinson's disease, called Rock Steady Boxing. I watched for a few moments, and was impressed with the passion that the coach appeared to have for helping these folks thrive in the midst of adversity. And it was evident that the class members genuinely enjoyed what was being provided to them in the class. My journey to a fitter life so far has been very positive at ICOR. In spite of being 20 years older than the majority of the members I routinely see in my classes, I feel comfortable and have made some friends. I have also learned a lot about boxing that I never knew before. There is a lot more depth to it than just two people in a ring hitting each other.
