I used to love this Salon, but unfortunately after today's manicure I can no longer support this local business. I spent two hours today getting a pedicure and a SNS manicure. I was rushing out of the door to get errands done and as I'm driving around town I looked closer and see white streaks (see photos attached). The photos also show how poorly the job was done and in my personal opinion the gel could've been brought closer to my cuticle. I never complain online, but I do work hard for my money and spending $90 on a manicure and pedicure that isn't up to par isn't acceptable. I called the shop right after I noticed and they suggested I come in to fix It. I explained to them that I am flying out tomorrow morning for vacation, I had dinner plans that night, and there was no possible way for me to get in prior to my trip. I was very calm as I did have respect for this business and thought they would try to make it right. After a few minutes Joe got on the phone and I explained to him what happened. I was told that SNS Manicures may look like a powder, but I have had many manicures before and I know that this is not the desired outcome. I also explained that I did not have any extra time in my day to come back to the salon and simply asked for a little discount or credit towards my next service. Half off of a manicure in my opinion that isn't done correctly should be able to be done. Joe told me that they are a no refund establishment and that I can come in, but he was not understanding at all. I told him that I tried to do the right thing and call him and try to work it out with him prior to going to write this negative review, but he did not show that he was concerned at all about me letting other people know how I was treated. Obviously, after having a discussion like this one, I did not want to return. All successful businesses put customers first and I will never visit this establishment again. There are so many other great salons in Carmel and I will take my loyalty and money elsewhere. It is not appreciated here. read more

I like to be able to pick my own pink color and this place allows you to and has lots of options. Connie takes her time to make sure your nails look how you want and she does an excellent job! This nail salon is a gem! I went with my mom and sister just recently and had an excellent time! We didn't feel rushed and they were able to get the three of us in and done at the same time! They also had complimentary drinks which was a very nice addition! Megan worked on my nails and she was amazing! She worked quickly and was precise! My mom, sister and I had mani/pedis appointments for my brothers wedding. My sister's nail technician was extremely rude and unprofessional as she started off by rolling her eyes at her and then walked away when she accidentally chose a dip color instead of a gel color even though there were so many nail color samples and we tried asking the person at the front desk multiple times which samples were dip and which were gel. My sister then quickly picked out another color when the technician returned for the technician to again be visibly and audibly annoyed because they were out of the gel color she chose (as if she should have known!). I couldn't believe the rudeness! I would have walked out right then and there if she was my technician and I didn't have appointments scheduled with other family members. While my nail technician was nice enough, the manicure looked horrible. I grew my nails out for this manicure but next thing I knew my nails were trimmed as short as possible! The "no chip" gel manicure was chipping by day 5 (pic at day 5 included). I was excited to try this salon as they have historically received great reviews. However, after our experience, I will not be returning. Do not waste your time or money here. read more

This was my first time here and overall great place with very friendly people. I got a gel manicure and it turned out okay. The only complaint I have is that the lady who did my nails did not go up far enough on my nail when she was painting. So they look like they're already grown out. She also did not go to the complete edge of my nail on some of my nails. I researched many places in the area and was hoping my nails would turn out a little better. The nails I saw in pictures from here with a gel manicure look great and I thought mine would turn out the same. I was just hoping for a better job done for what I paid. I'm a little upset they didn't turn out exactly like I hoped and not sure if I will return. I went here for a manicure & pedicure. I do not recommend this place for nail services. It's VERY dirty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months. There is dust everywhere. The tools are not properly sanitized and there were someone else's nail pieces all over the counter and floor of where I was having my services. They did a mediocre job painting my nails. I ended up here after having an appointment elsewhere, and when I showed up at that salon, no one was there to open the salon for my appointment. Sadly I cannot agree with some of these reviews. Had a gel manicure and I have had better elsewhere. My nails were trimmed way to short and there was no going back after the first clip. My cuticles were left "shaggy". The manicurist talked on their phone the entire time. The station was filthy. I will not be going back. read more

I so badly wanted to be happy with this place, but after 3 not so great appointments, I can't say I will be going back. Last night I had an appointment for a pedi & gel mani. Chose color 81, a purple color. I requested to have my mani & pedi at the same time, I prefer to just get in, get them both done, and get going. Well the manicurist & I were having conversation the whole time the pedicurist was painting my toes. When he was done we looked down at them and saw it was a completely different color. My toes turned out a dark brown/burgandy, while my hands were turning out more like a highlighter pink. Of course they asked if I'm happy with it....no, that's not the color I picked. And politely asked for it to be corrected, yet they were extremely annoyed as if it was my fault. So my toes didn't take long to change of course, but having to change gel for my hands obviously was a process. When she was about to start repainting my hands again I said that's not 81, that's 80. The bottle had a big 80 on it. She had the pedicurist come over to reassure me that it was the same color he had put on my toes and they were getting argumentative and defensive about it. But the bottle clearly said 80...not 81. I gave up, hoping it would just turn out close enough to the same color after a couple coats. But it's clearly not the same color. read more

Would not recommend!!! Just wasted money today on a mani pedi and was not worth it at all!! Cut my toes way to short then when I ask him not to cut my nails he just filed them down to the skin. Nail polish on my nails were so thick that two hours later I hit my nail and the polish smudged and came off. Also had cut my pinky then put this green liquid on it that stunk very badly I don't know if it was to stop the bleeding or to clean it.
