This place had a chance to impress me and get my business for 9 months while I live here. They will not be getting that. First nail broke 4 days in and the the next two broke day 6! What a joke. He did not do tips, which I could have used and charged me $60. Go else where! read more

I'm not sure if this is the norm. We had an appointment, The salon was overcrowded. They kept accepting customers even though they had too many customers in the salon. I wonder if code enforcement would have a problem with this. Because it was so busy, the technicians were distracted and constantly going between customers. The work completed was average. I doubt that I will go back. read more

Went in today for a mani/pedi -first one since COVID!- and had a great experience. Everyone was very nice, welcoming and fun. A little expensive but overall a great experience. They were very busy since it was a rainy day during snowbird season but I got there early enough for a walk-in and didn't feel rushed. They have a large color selection for all types of polish. COVID procedures are in place and masks are required during the entire visit. read more

I had a pedicure and manicure from Wendy. She was very attentive with me, making me comfortable and adding music for my manicure. making it a very relaxing experience. By the time I was done i felt as if I had a full massage. Exttemely relaxing and a beautiful job on my nails and toes. I had a French manicure and deluxe pedicure. I will be back. read more

I had a great experience today with Tommy. The staff was very professional. We were able to get a last minute appointment. The salon is taking precautions and you must wash your hands and wear a mask at all times. Great for social distancing during covid . Would highly recommend! Definitely returning. read more

Went in for my wedding nails. They did a fantastic job. I forgot the lady's name but she was amazing. She listened to what I want and it turned out even better then I hoped! This was my first time at Zen Nails & Spa and overall I was very pleased with my experience. I was a little hesitant because of the lower ratings but was desperate to get my toes redone and needed something close. I did not have to wait and was greeted with a smile. The lady that helped me did a fantastic job l. I got a pedicure before I came to the island less than 2 weeks ago and she spent a good portion of the time reshaping and trimming what was missed before. The price for a gel pedicure was $42 before tip. It was a little pricey but for what I got I was ok with paying that. read more

Went in for pedicure while friend did mani pedi. Very clean, attendant was thorough and gave great calf and foot massage with pedicure. Took me a while to figure out controls on chair but once I did had a great chair massage. Definitely recommend. read more

DO NOT waste your time and money here. -- they look like duck nails. i specifically asked for medium long straight nails, and a reference picture. the man was very nice and the woman was very nice. my nails are slanted, the design looks like a butt, and not at all what i asked for. i spent $85 on these. thankfully i know how to do nails myself, i can fix them myself. i will NEVER be coming back. read more

I had a dip on Saturday March 5th 2022. By Tuesday I had 2 chipped nails. My dips have always lasted between 3-4 weeks. I could not believe it. $50 instead of the usual $40 that I have paid in the past at another salon. It is now Sunday and all but 4 are chipped and a few the polish has lifted. Just don't do it. I am now looking to go somewhere else tomorrow to get rid of it and move on. I will say the people were nice but obviously not using good products, read more

While everyone was friendly and accommodating. One full set is lifting (Friday went its wed-today) under the nail bed has been since done. Another set- dipped nails are all a hot mess. She has had the same set on prior to them soaking off for 2 weeks prior. (Pictures attached) everyone got French Manicure for the most part with gel polish. Everyone had at-least one nail gone by the end of the day. The hands on training of employees is crazy when paying full price for half of what others do. My cuticles have never looked this rough. I am a licensed cosmetologist. My licenses covers nails, I've been doing nails for years. We spent over $500 in there and the quality does not reflect prices. read more

I had a hard time finding dip service on the island and our fitness club told me to try Zen. Great experience and service with Thom for my Dip Manicure. He's very experienced and skilled at dip. Filed my nails to my squoval preferred shape and layered my dip polish beautifully. Finished nails are just as good as home. If I lived here, Thom would do my nails. I'll be back again soon! She knows where to go, she knows what combination of technique to use. She was able to release knots that other well trained masseuses have overlooked in so many massage therapy sessions. This time, I had Cindy and she made sure to hit allll the labor points, including my feet, lower back, and even thighs. Ended my session with a yummy head massage too. Felt so good + so refreshed by the end of my session, it was truly a solid 10/10. I also noticed it was a lot easier for my chiro to adjust me, too. Will definitely be back whenever I need a massage, whether it's my whole body or feet and hopefully the labor points worked this time to encourage baby out! It's a nice little spa on the 2nd floor above Ginny and Jane E's Cafe (go there too!). I didn't catch my massage therapists name but she did a nice job. It was a relaxing full body massage which was just what I was looking for!

It was awesome!! Hair is definitely my favorite because it's literally the exact color I wanted (not black but dark brown) and she cut it exactly the way I wanted! She was even able to fix my disastrous bangs so that they aren't too bad until the grow out (a huge mistake done by another stylist but Claire maire made them bare able for the next few months). Massage was better than last time and I love the color on my hands and feet! If you like small settings and not your typical spa Claire maire is for you. She's a wonderful, Positive person! If you have to pick one thing (which is really hard) I would say go for a hair cut and color. However, I don't think you could go wrong with any of her services!!

I am good with a homier type of spa and it was very clean which is the most important thing for me. Claire Marie did my facial and it was fabulous. Very relaxing and my skin feels and looks great. Next I had a massage with Nicole. She discussed my problem spots before we started and a previous health issue. All good indicators of a professional in my option. The massage was terrific and my IT band feels much better. I would highly recommend Claire Maria's for either of these services.

My daughter had her nails done for the first time ever for her birthday while we were on vacation. I was nervous because back home we could have had recommendations from friends of where to go but she really wanted it done while we were staying with her grandma on longboat key. She came with a picture and a vision and couldn't be happier with the results. The staff were all friendly and we got in quickly. Unexpectedly I had to come to Anna Maria Island from Michigan. I am very picky about my nails and rarely go to someplace new. I called when my plane landed and got an appointment right away. First time visiting this salon. On vacation and needed to get a gel fill. Being a vacation destination, I called to check whether I needed to schedule an appointment or if I could walk in. They told me if I wanted, I could come by in 2 hours. I did so. They were busy, but took me right away. I was very impressed with my nail tech, and he did a fabulous job. Tonya did a beautiful job on my daughters milky French gel mani! She also did my toes in classic red gel pedi and it's perfect. Tony did my milky gel neutral mani and it's classic and exactly what I wanted. He shaped my natural nails beautifully. Recommend 100%! Will be returning. My daughters wanted to get their nails done while on vacay so we found this spot on a rainy day. They were very happy with their results. Both got gels for a reasonable price. It was busy so even with a reservation it took them both 2 hours. Fairly clean and the staff was super nice and professional. I would recommend. read more
