They are nice here. Mia did my gel feel here. Everyone is kind and Peter I think is his name does good pedicures. I will definitely going back to them. The atmosphere is nice and they offer you glass to drink.

It was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. When I got there I was a little bit early the owner had put out a vibe I guess she was tired or whatever. I sat down and got a manicure and the manicure wasn't up the part also date number three my nails were popping off and I never did get the chance to go back and put them on because I didn't want to catch a lift all the way to the establishment. I called last week to tell the lady who claims that the owner wasn't in to see what they could do to my foot because when I mentioned it the day I got my feet done he told me that it was because she filed my feet always to meet but I didn't believe that you know I just let it go and wait till now time that he gave me. I've been calling them constantly I know that I called one day and they sent me straight to voicemail. I think that's extremely unprofessional to do that to someone. I spoke to someone yesterday and she told me that she didn't even know when the owners were going to be back which is pathetic and not true. So this seems to be the only way that I can handle things in a professional way. Also I told her that if I didn't hear from anyone at that establishment until Wednesday or Thursday that I'm bringing my lawyer up there. So technically right now I still haven't heard anything from The Establishment they claim that they gave me my money back for my pedicure and I still haven't seen it at this moment I pretty much want all my money back because this is ridiculous I've never been to a nail spa where they pretty much pick Nick and pick who can talk to me I am a very very upset customer. I would if I could rate this establishment of zero because the only did they not pay attention to the work they did to my feet also my nails started falling off two maybe three days after I got them done today they are glued on and I'm trying my hardest t0 keep them on but it's only two nails that fell off when I first got them done and now all of them are falling off. I know every review is not the same but I'm a paying customer and when I feel like the services should be done well, I think that it should just be done as the customer asked.

Went in for a dip manicure because it is down the street from my job and this place did not disappoint! Ivan was my nail tech and truly did a beautiful job! He was kind, attentive, and did a wonderful job on my nails. 10/10!! Thank you Ivan!

I'm in town for a wedding and didn't have time to get my nails done before I left California. The Zen Nails photos looked the best out of the salons that I could walk to from my hotel so I rolled the dice and made an appointment. I am SO thankful Mia did my manicure. I showed her a photo I had and she did an amazing job. 4 nail techs at my nail spa at home couldn't come close and one said it couldn't be done because it was an AI photo. I'll post a photo although it looks so much nicer in person. The only disappointment is that Mia is in Dallas and not in California. Thank you Mia for the beautiful design and the wonderful service

I moved to Dallas a few months ago and have been on a hunt for a good nail salon since then. Safe to say Zen Nails is my go to spot now! The staff is friendly, the salon is clean, the prices are fair, and they do a great job. I got an ombré gel x and they killed it!!

This was my first time here and I called at 4 pm on a week night and they took me in right away! I asked for a dip manicure and a regular polish pedicure and had a lovely experience! Both the ladies that did my services were beyond kind and they were very fast and efficient! The prices were very affordable and I will be coming back again soon! My best friend went for a pedicure a few days later and had a great experience as well! Could not recommend the customer service here more!

I initially was very happy with my nails, but as they have begun to grow out I see that the technician severely damaged my nail bed. I have a harsh 'ring of fire' indent in my nails that I will now have to grow out. My nails are my own natural nails that I have painstakingly grown out to this length. Everyone knows how nerve wracking it is to try a new salon for the first time; I am SO HAPPY I called ZEN Nails and they let me walk in 45 mins before closing! I showed Richard a few pictures of what I wanted for graduation and he did a gorgeous, perfectly shaped ballerina-powder-dipped and hand painted in my company colors and I absolutely love it! Definitely spoke too soon about this place. Very frustrated with my last visit before my trip to Portugal. Came for a dip with design and pedicure during happy hour. Happy hour only applies to the base price which I wasn't aware of but was cool with. My pedicure was fine and actually pretty good but my nails were a different story... I appreciate the tech explaining how almond shape looks better with longer nails but he made me feel like it was a big ask to do short almonds. The most frustrating part was the design I showed him which I thought was simple in the end I found out he couldn't do. Because of this, I ended up with basic French nails that they charged me $25 for. If the tech couldn't do the design I wanted I wouldn't have even gotten French tips. When I said I've gotten the design other places he stated that maybe I should go there. Very sound advice that I plan to take. I don't plan on returning to Zen after this last experience. read more

My girlfriend and I wanted a day to pamper ourselves. We haven't been happy with the service from our usual spot so we wanted to go elsewhere. I got on Yelp and read all the great reviews so decided to come here. I called and set an appointment for a dip manicure and two gel pedicures. They greeted us as soon as we walked in and we're very friendly. EMILY worked on my pedi, Kathy did my dip and MIA worked on my girlfriend. They were all FANTASTIC. They were very detailed, thorough and gave great massages! I ended up seeing two employees (Jenny and Richard) from my old spot working here too, so the familiar face was nice. Hands-down the best gel mani and pedi I've ever had in my life. Mani lasted two solid weeks with no chipping and my pedi polish is still going strong three weeks later. This is where the majority of my coworkers get their nails done. And all of them say it's Richard that does it. The day I went he was with another client so someone else did my nails. I got a dip manicure. The staff was very nice and accommodating. Initially I wanted a nudie beige color, When she did the first nail I didn't like the color and so I asked her to change it. she changed it without hesitation, some nail techs get upset about this. There wasn't anything done to my cuticles but you can add cuticle care for an additional amount. When I return I definitely will add cuticle care to my next service. read more

I made an appointment with Richard for an ombré powder dip with tips manicure and French gel pedicure and he did a fantastic job! I walked away as a very satisfied client. It only took about 1 hour and 15 min as compared to Aura Nail Bar that usually takes 3 hours for the same service. Richard is very friendly and is a seasoned nail specialist. He's also part owner of Zen Nails and has a vested interest in ensuring his clients walks away happy and satisfied! The nail salon is clean and they also serve free adult beverages. I randomly Yelped a nail place and found this place. I made an appointment online today, Monday, June 6 for 1PM. The appointment setup online was a breeze and a confirmation text was sent to my phone to confirm my appointment. I was glad I found this place. Zen Nails was clean and not crowded, obviously because it was a Monday. They also have 20% off special from 10-3PM running from Monday to Thursday. Jenny did my pedicure and she did a marvelous job! I loved this place! Quality pedicure that included neck/shoulder/scalp massage, charcoal leg mask, wax dip, and the other typical pedi amenities for an excellent price. I believe they were $65. I highly recommend going here for services. The crew was gentle and effective. My husband got a pedi with me and they really took care of him. His man feet looked very clean and refreshed. Best overall in Dallas especially with customer service. It's hard to find nail shops nowadays where you have people that really care about quality and doing a good job/keeping customers happy but you can tell this place really cares. HUGE shoutout to Jenny- I accidentally messed up the polish on one of my toes at the end and she insisted she fixes it and even went above and beyond to make sure the polish looked good on all of my toes and put on extra coats for me (another nail tech was working on me before). Jenny really is THE BEST! Definitely make sure to take advantage of their happy hour prices. read more

My appt was for 6:30. I walked through the door at 6:33. Was not offered a drink when others while others were offered something right in front of me. Knew what color I wanted and sat down. Waited 20 min for Richard to see me. He put foil on my nails to remove former gel polish, Then waited an additional 20-25 min (I had to ask where he went as he was nowhere to be found)-he left on a SMOKE break outside, came in w/ a backpack on as if he had left & came back from somewhere smelling like smoke so bad I had to hold my breath while he worked on my nails. He barely removed any polish & was about to put the foil back on when I kindly asked if there was a quicker way to remove the gel. He took out another tool & removed it faster but also took off part of my real nails. At this point my nose was so sensitive to the smoke I had to turn my face while he continued. Then I kindly ask for him to file my nails more when he replies, "YOU DO IT YOURSELF" and hands me the file. Lol like what?! I told him thank you & got up to leave & asked how much I owed (not having any polish my nails bare). Save your time & money & RUN from this place. I had originally gone in months ago for pedi & mani but their practices & nail regimen & customer service is not up to par. To make matters worse there was some weird nail polish that transferred from his hands to mine when he removed my polish. Will not be returning here and neither should you. read more

They couldn't care less about their customers. They rush you in and out as quickly as possible. It's very obvious that they talk about you to one another and snicker and laugh. Anytime I have gone in to get a gel manicure, they try to gaslight me into getting dip. Once you make myself clear after about 10 times you're getting gel, they toss you around to 1-5 different workers before someone finally agrees to do this "cheap" and "not worth their time" set. I've literally watched it happen before my eyes probably the last 5 times I've gone in. $20 for gel on top of their $25 manicure which they try almost every-time to not clean under your nails or trim your cuticles!!!! Same with the $45 pedicures!!! They try not cleaning underneath your toenails and rush through the shaping process completely unless you are thoroughly paying attention. It's so sneaky and disappointing that their recommended gratuity is at 22% or 25% when they shouldn't even get 20% for what they do. They completely take advantage of the customer and then gaslight you if you ask ANY questions. There are so many BETTER nail salons in Dallas, avoid it yall!!

But several hours later, my friend's nails are still hurting her, and she was not offered anything to soothe the discomfort, unlike I was. It feels like her concerns weren't really addressed in the moment. Additionally, she asked for a tapered square shape, but the tech told her she should ask for coffin nails next time. We know what a tapered square looks like, so that exchange felt unnecessarily dismissive. Another reason for the rating drop is that we were charged for "length"--but we both got fairly short nails. We even posted photos because it's unclear where that extra charge came from. I'm not expecting a refund, and I understand that a salon in downtown Dallas will likely cost more, but with higher pricing should come a more consistent quality of service. While parts of the experience were positive, the discomfort my friend is still dealing with, along with the shape miscommunication and unclear pricing, made this visit fall short of expectations.

But to say they're predatory is the least I could say about my experience. The older lady who greeted me when I first walked in pretended she doesn't speak good English and spoke with me in broken English when I'm requesting a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. She's acting all confused and pushing me to get a gel pedicure. I have never gotten a gel pedicure, nor do I need it, saying that they don't have the color to match it and other confused facial expressions and broken English. After she saw I am not going to get a gel pedicure, she proceeded to tell me it's okay, she can do it. I sit down, and then I'm choosing the type of pedicure I'm getting, and last month I got the same: Mojito pedicure. She proceeded to say this doesn't include nail color removal and told me to do the one above it, which is ~$15 more. I looked confused because I have never seen it being told that, ohh, to remove the color on your toenails, you need to get this pedicure to do so; otherwise, the one you chose doesn't include it. It's a freaking regular nail color gets removed by the cheapest nail polish Aston and mind you, I got the same services done 4 weeks ago here with them. So I did comment and told her this is very weird, and I have never seen this before, not even here on my last visit. I have done my nails in Beverly Hills & West Hollywood CA where I used to live before moving to Dallas and even in 2 of the most expensive cities of America, I wasn't told this ridiculous thing. Both the older lady and the younger one who's working now on my manicure were silent. The one who does my pedicure ends up doing a 1/10 job with this service, even though she bamboozled me into a more expensive pedicure service due to the ridiculous reason she stated. She doesn't cut the sides of the nails, she doesn't remove nail color stain even though I have asked her to and she now talks perfect English and said it doesn't need and doesn't tell me why she doesn't want to do it. She then proceeded to huff and muff and talks under her breath and seemed annoyed by me. I'm a person who tips 20% anywhere I go, but this was the first time ever in my life I have decided to tip significantly less due to this older lady's scamming behavior. So with all of this being said, I won't be returning again to this nail salon, and unfortunately, they have lost a regular customer!

This has by far been one of the greatest nail shop experiences I've ever had. We were greeted with a smile and treated with patience and such good care. The ambience is welcoming and bright. They provide two complimentary drinks, my crew all tried the poinsettia drink and it was delicious. We came in for pedicures and got an experience we won't forget. I got Alice as my nail technician and she was truly so sweet. She made sure I was comfortable and provided awesome conversation. She was patient, friendly, and has such a beautiful soul. Thank you Alice and the Zen Nails staff for your wonderful service and for making sure us clients feel safe, welcomed, and embraced. Again, thank you so much Alice. I went to Zen Nails today due to rcv'ing horrible service yesterday at a different nail salon. I was feeling pretty bad due to spending so much money for terrible service. When i got to Zen Nails i was greeted immediately as i entered into the building. The service I rcv'd was superb!!
