I my shoulder was in so pain and Emily did an amazing job getting the knot out during my 60 minute massage. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I didn't like the way my toes turned out. Went on Thur afternoon to get a pedicure. ALICE was the nail tech who stated you get 20% off the regular priced pedicure but I decided to do the basic/express pedicure since I was on a time constraint. Well, she was UNHAPPY about it and gave me a look. 1 of the services they provide while getting nails done is offering beverages yes even a glass of wine but since ALICE was upset she decided to not offer me any beverages in this heat (104 F outside). -put a timer on to do a foot massage (very light massage when asked to put some pressure on the massage....TIMES UP) -expedited my pedicure (very quick and unenthusiastic) stating since u are in a hurry.....mind it I had time for an express pedicure not an 1.5hr pedicure. -Despite all this I tipped her to be polite which on 2nd thought shouldnt have due to her poor service, and attitude. My go to nail spa! Great service every time, technician experience/appt length varies depending on who you get but I've never left without a quality job. They will listen to you and ask the right questions to make sure you get what you want and are satisfied. Love this place! Richard has been doing my nails for years and always does a perfect job. My nails are very sensitive and he's very gentle.

I asked my nail tech for short almond shape. Then she proceeds to cut. I'm assuming she's cutting, knowing how much nail she needs to file for my desired shape. She files them and they are straight up round. I told her that's not what I wanted and showed her a picture of almond. She said I shouldn't of had her cut so short if that's the shape I wanted. Since I can't add back length to my nail I asked her to shape them to square round since I did not like the round and had no other option. The color of the nail example and the color of my nails are not the same either. I hate my nails. I will not go back. read more

This place has the best pedicures in Dallas. Thats it, that's the review. Lol jk but actually though, I'm from boston where the pedicures are amazing and this is the closest in comparison in Dallas. Im someone that likes my cuticles out and gets frequent ingrowns because I'm always wearing closed shoes and they have taken care of my feet for the last few months! They do a great job with toe cuticles and ingrowns, hand cuticles not so much but I understand its not big for asian/americans to remove hand cuticles (brazilian manicures are different). They also use pressure points on your feet which is cool. Richard is amazing with the dip nails too! read more

And when I look at my real nail it is not flushed with the dip which worries me about dirt and mold getting stuck in between the dip and my nail. I just noticed what the owner said, and he acted dreadful when my husband and I confronted him. He took us to a back room and closed the door. It said 20 percent off outside but the book said something else. He would never allow employees for us to see the true pricing. He yelled at us and refused to refund. We do not need the money and live in Preston Hollow, but we trusted him for a long time and made the trip. After I reported his scam, he changed the outdoor sign. I just do not want others to be scammed. There are other places to go and I suggest you try another salon. read more

I'm not one to leave a lot of reviews, but whenever I find exceptional services I feel inclined to leave a comment. As most have said, Richard is wonderful at doing dip manicures. I moved to Dallas in April and had been going to another popular nail salon. I won't name them but they get a lot of reviews and seemingly appear to be the place to go. However, every single time I went my experience and the work they did got worse and worse. By the last visit I was so disappointed and felt ripped off. I am so glad I stopped by Zen Nails. They have a beautiful salon that's clean and everyone is friendly. They have a ton of color options and have drinks available while you get your nails done. Richard hands down is one of the best nails techs I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Alice did my pedicure and was wonderful. I definitely will be coming here from now on to get my nails done. The pricing is more than reasonable for the work they do, and the attention to detail is fabulous. read more
