Kenzie is a sweetie and fantastic! I usually give pretty vague descriptions, show a photo or two. I'm not one to get overly upset about results (as long as I walk out with hair below my shoulders, I'm good lol), and prefer to have the artist work their magic. She definitely has the magic!! The highlights are amazing and perfectly placed. The cut is awesome - I love that she still did long layers but in a way that I can still put my hair up or braid it and there are not pieces sticking out every-which-way. I saw Kenzie and showed her a couple inspo pics and explained a couple hair issues I have, and she got to work. She was friendly, and we had a few nice conversations, but also some non-awkward silence, which was relaxing. I didn't feel pressure to make small talk. Even though I arrived a couple minutes late, she was able to complete some foils, a toner, a cut, and a blow dry with time to spare before I had to leave to cross town to teach a yoga class, which was also greatly appreciated! I absolutely love the results - it was just what I was looking for. I'd had an emotionally draining appointment just before going in, so it was a relief in so many ways to be so pleased with the outcome and leave with more confidence and pep in my step. Bree runs a timely schedule, is very easy to communicate with via texting and email reminders, and does not partake in silly salon gossip. I had had a bad experience previously with another stylist who razored my ends to hell, and Sarah said that we would work together to get my hair back to where it should be. The brand of hair products that SF carries is amazing. Ritchie was amazing- not only did he give her a beautiful haircut, he showed me and my daughter step by step how to style and fry her hair so we would have the same results at home. He also provided us with small portions of the same products he used so we could try them at home and told me to call him if we had any trouble. They use Davines products which are all-natural, so that's a huge plus if you're concerned about chemicals. Overall, I can't say enough about Brio!
