I didn't like practicing in the parking lot outside of the studio anytime a workshop was taking place inside. Even though water was provided. Also, I it can get very noisy and hot in the studio! The indoor drumming is so loud, it hurts my ears. If there are 8 people in the studio, it gets really hot inside especially, during the summer months. I like that the instructors take time to clarify questions students have. They supervise that one doesn't get hurt while practicing with another student. read more

What a wonderful yoga studio! They have it set up for social distancing, and low lighted for their stretching and meditation times. The owner does a lot of zoom/remote classes so they have a camera set up in the center of the room that you must sign acknowledging that you may be in a video on youtube. It appears that it is a "community" type of learning facility where I met some great women. All levels of classes available. read more

Way too many people in each class. Go if you like being cramped without any individual instruction, so you never quite know if you are doing any position correctly. Be prepared to have your wallet ready as they have these weekend classes if they can suck you into it ($450--hello, sucker!). They do everything they can think of to get their hands in your wallet and suck you dry I noticed...not appealing at all unless you don't mind getting taken. I do know they try and put the pressure on you when you sign up to spend and get the "best" offer they have, which will cost you a good $2K--and it is probably higher now than that. I had a friend do it, but I sure would never do that myself as it is not worth the money. You can find better if you look around. I'd suggest that myself. read more

I began classes at Zen Wellness as a 66th birthday present to myself and I had no idea what a wonderful gift it would turn out to be! I started with Medical Qigong and after a few weeks I noticed improvement in my breathing, balance and coordination. I continued Qigong and added Tai Chi, first Yang and later Chen style. I have now been taking classes for three years and not only do I have a much leaner and stronger body, my memory and focus are very much improved! I am a first degree black belt and have also joined Master's Path. One of the most challenging and fun opportunities Master's Path has brought me is Wudang Tai Chi Sword. If you want to learn about your body while improving both your body and mind, this place has it all. I have been going to their classes for a year now and I must say that the instructors there are very friendly and qualified. Overall the classes have helped to improve my osteoarthritis and general health. What is great about it is that you pay for your classes and they include taichi , qigong and yoga. You can go to as many classes as you want and they have classes everyday except Sunday. This particular location is mostly packed with seniors and they are careful about their limitations during exercise. They have different classes, from beginners to more advanced . I had a terrible experience at this place. Unfortunately, I can't even rate a class. I arrived at 7:20pm for a 7:30pm class and found that another class was still in session. I waited outside not knowing if I should go in. It is litereally a barn in a backyard of someone's house. I asked what I can only assume was another student if there was a yoga class and she was very unfriendly and dismissive in her answer. Other students walked by and were so unfriendly that I didn't want to take the class. Very unwelcoming. After getting attacked by mosquitoes while waiting outside I decided to leave without taking the class. I found this place to be very unprofessional and it had a bad vibe-as I said before, very unwelcoming. I would recomend to the business owner that classes should not be booked back-to-back. Leave a half between them for break down and set up. I felt bad for the tai chi class. People were constantly walking through the class-very distracting and awkward. read more
