Love the work Zenith did! Sharon's design for our kitchen and bathroom were insightful. She improved on the ideas that I had given her. She was able to design a custom bar, which turned out beautifully. She understands the dynamics of how a kitchen works. The bathroom is a spa. Ferhat the foreman had an excellent team of workmen and David the project manager was very responsive and helpful. Lovely to work with. During the pandemic things were not perfect, there were some delays, but overall I am very happy with the finished product.

Zenith remodel

Update- Kitchen remodel Windsor Mill MD I am completely happy and satisfied with the my new updated kitchen. Marvin ( contractor) and his team did a wonderful job. Luis ( project manager) spent quality time discussing all aspects of the renovation before turning it over to Eko. I'm 95% done- just waiting on a replacement cabinet and spice rack. I only picked Zenith because of Eva (the designer) assigned to my call. I was back and forth for months. She took my call each time and never pressured me. She was very patient and took the time to understand what I wanted. Her last tweak is the design I chose and I couldn't be happier. I was hesitant because the company has been around for around 7 years but they did a fantastic job. I have several friends interested in their service. The entire team (Eva, Luis, Marvin) was very responsive and on top of the entire project. I highly recommend.

We just had our kitchen totally remodeled (moved a couple of walls, etc.) We received several proposals. Dan from Zenith came up with the best layout at a very fair price. They started work on time (Camillo's crew) and worked diligently from before 0800 every day until 6 or later every evening until the work was completed. They worked 6 days a week. Countertops took a week or so to deliver and after they were installed, the backsplash and finishing touches were done promptly. Electric, plumbing and duct work were completed by licensed subcontractors. Preparation and cleanup were excellent with the inevitable dust kept to a minimum. Everyone was friendly and professional. About a month from start to finish...just waiting on a replacement for a damaged cabinet handle.

Doors are uneven

They remodeled my kitchen and there are issues I cannot get them to fix. Cabinets not shutting, cabinets cracking because too close to fridge, molding is cracked, Chipping already between backsplash and counter, cabinets (I didn't show all pictures that came with imperfections. Company says they will fix things but don't. You get what you pay for, my recommendation is to use a contractor. I paid 53K & would expect better service.

Extended countertop

Top notch company with excellent craftsmen and extremely efficient. I am so pleased with the work. Special thanks to Geovany and Jermi who work so well together and kept me informed the entire time. Their work is outstanding! The PM, David, and sales, Sean, were both excellent to work with. So happy with the new look.

In a nutshell, working with Jitendra exceeded our expectations on several levels. The bookshelves…read morethat he designed, built, and installed really add much-needed warmth and life to our living room! BACKGROUND: We wanted bookshelves installed above a built-in cabinet unit in our living room. I sent Jitendra a sketch and described what we wanted. From my chicken-scratch sketch, he created a design and mock-up, then measured our space. While measuring, he flagged all existing flaws in the space (uneven/slanted walls) so that we were aware of all inconsistencies upfront. He has amazing attention to detail! RESULTS: We were simply blown away by how well he was able to match the custom shelves to our existing unit; all of the wood looks like it was manufactured at the same time! It truly looks like it was all constructed as one piece from the very beginning, which is exactly what we wanted. In addition, we really appreciate that he took initiative to incorporate crown molding/extra detail on the top of the shelving unit. This is something that I would never have thought to do. WHY YOU SHOULD HIRE HIM: There's good reason why the word "artisan" is in the name of this business. He goes above and beyond on quality, service, and workmanship, AND he's very personable, patient, and kind. I HIGHLY recommend working with Jitendra and his crew; worth every penny!

After replacing our kitchen counters, we received several quotes for either cabinet refacing or painting. When Dave came out to give us a quote, it was immediately clear he takes great pride in his craftsmanship. He offered thoughtful suggestions we hadn't considered. For example, when we mentioned replacing our oven/microwave combo, Dave recommended coordinating the installation with his work so he could custom-fit the opening using matching wood trim -- a much better solution than the plastic filler the appliance company suggested. His attention to detail truly elevated the final look. Custom Cabinet Refacing also offered a wide selection of cabinet styles. We thought we knew what we wanted, but after seeing another option Dave suggested, we changed our minds -- and we're so glad we did. We also decided to use his recommended painter, Rigoberto, who specializes in cabinet finishing. Rigoberto's work was exceptional, and the paint finish is beautiful. Both Dave and Rigoberto clearly take pride in their work. They arrived on time, finished on schedule, and handled any challenges with skill. We encountered a few issues when ordering our oven/microwave combo because they recently changed the model. When I tried to reach out to the vendor to confirm the dimensions, no one could provide us the exact measurements and were told it should fit into the same cutout as the previous model. Dave took those dimensions added in the additional wood to existing cabinet since the new oven/microwave combo was about 2-3 inches shorter in height than the existing oven/microwave combo. When our new oven/microwave combo arrived, Dave's estimated measurements were spot on and the oven/microwave combo fit perfectly. He even noticed our dishwasher had been installed incorrectly and fixed that too by adding in some additional woodwork. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about quality and craftsmanship, we highly recommend Custom Cabinet Refacing and Rigoberto for your cabinet painting. They completely transformed our home, and we can't thank them enough! Thanks, David

During the call itself, a surprising amount of time was spent venting about a previous client who had changed their mind about their layour. I was also mansplained the IKEA manufacturing process (I was very clear I'm looking for custom cabinetry) which felt unnecessary and off-topic. The rough sketches I provided worked for other cabinetmakers to generate bids, but Andrew repeatedly insisted that Ogee would require additional professional drawings before providing any estimate. That's fine if it's their policy -- but the way it was communicated felt dismissive. A large chunk of the call was spent watching him try to locate photos of a past project while he was screen sharing. After several minutes of this, I asked if we could just refocus on the conversation. Overall, the interaction felt scattered and oddly adversarial for what should have been a straightforward information-gathering session.

I am a certified Project Manager and licensed Mechanical Engineer, so I know what good project execution looks like. MKC is the best residential contractor I have worked with in my 30 years of home ownership. MKC employs a process with heavy emphasis on planning the work up front followed by quality execution by the craftsmen. Scott (owner of MKC) honestly strives to land each project with the highest quality work done at a reasonable price. My project was mainly to remodel a kitchen and master bathroom. Additionally, we removed two walls (one load bearing), replaced 1/2 the house windows, addressed two different legacy structural issues, replaced fireplace, all interior doors, all baseboard and trim, all flooring and about a dozen other upgrades (add ceiling fans, add additional door, replace garage door header, toilet in 2nd bath, etc.). Basically, I received a new house. The work was completed in a little over 4 months as planned adding time for the new scope and structural issues. The cost was as expected. MKC costs were nearly exact to expected. Material costs were higher than planned due to our selection of materials vs assumed. The quality of the work was outstanding whether it was by MKC employees or subcontractors. I highly recommend the MKC team for a kitchen or major home remodel.
