After we came to an agreement with Dan Betyordekom of I Construction to do the work, we braced ourselves for the disruptions and turmoil such a project typically inflicts on an active household (this was not our first such rodeo), dreading the inevitable delays that seem to be part of any construction work. Today, merely 10 days after we signed the contract, we look out on our splendid new deck, which, even according to the building inspector, reflects excellent work.
