Unfortunately, after only normal household use, the upholstery on the backrest began to crack. The chair has never been abused. We have no pets, it has never been exposed to direct sunlight, and we have never used any harsh cleaning products. It has simply been used as a massage chair is intended to be used. What disappointed me even more was OSIM's warranty response. They told me that the upholstery is considered a cosmetic "wear-and-tear" item and therefore is not covered. They also explained that factors such as clothing, body contact, and frequency of use can affect the lifespan of the material. This explanation simply does not make sense. A massage chair is designed for people to sit on every day while wearing normal clothes. Are customers now expected to worry about what they wear before using a $13,000 massage chair? Should we limit how often we use it to avoid damaging the upholstery? If normal daily use causes the material to crack within such a short time, then the material itself is not suitable for a premium product. When consumers spend this kind of money, they are paying not only for advanced massage technology but also for long-lasting quality and durability. Cracking upholstery after such a short period under normal use should not simply be dismissed as "cosmetic wear." To be honest, I would expect many massage chairs costing only a fraction of this price to have upholstery that lasts longer. This is certainly not the level of quality I expected from a $13,000 flagship model. Instead of standing behind the quality of its premium product, OSIM chose to deny warranty coverage by placing the responsibility on normal use. That is extremely disappointing. I have been a loyal OSIM customer, which makes this experience even more frustrating. I hope OSIM will reconsider both the quality of the materials used in its premium products and its warranty policy. For anyone considering an OSIM massage chair, especially one of their flagship models, I strongly recommend asking exactly what is and is not covered under warranty before making such a significant investment. Based on my experience, even cracking upholstery under normal household use may become your responsibility rather than the manufacturer's. A premium price should come with premium quality and premium customer support. Sadly, my experience with OSIM has been the opposite.

At the end of that time it was easy to select the chair that I wanted. It was definitely worth the nearly 2 hour drive to their location where I could experience all the leading chairs ranging from entry level to top of the line... and the prices are highly competitive but combined with the service and warranty that comes with the purchase, it's beyond a no-brainer!!! Delivery day was an exciting one and I have to say that the install crew was TERRIFIC. Not only were they strong movers of a heavy chair, they were highly professional, organized, and careful (they put it in an upstairs room) and they set it up perfectly, just as I had requested! I want to note that they covered the stair railings with moving blankets to protect the chair and the railings (we have two turns as you ascend to the second floor). I've never seen that kind of care in professional movers before ... Finally, the chair is GREAT. After nearly a month, I'm still learning how to use it and must admit I have not been that adventurous with the various programs but I am slowly learning how to get the most out of my time in the chair. That said, my back, shoulders, and neck are all feeling MUCH better since my chair's arrival. Full disclosure - this place is run by the mother and uncle of one of my best friends. This fact makes me biased, a little, but it also puts me in a good position to tell you that the owners are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They're so kind and friendly and welcoming, and they deserve all of your money. Lucky for you, you don't have to give them all of your money. If you're willing to part with a very small portion of it, you'll get a lot of great furniture in exchange. The prices at Jingle Bell are very good. The quality is a good deal better than at Ikea, and the prices are probably comparable. Matt B. has couches from both, and the one from Jingle Bell is so much more comfortable. His dining set is Jingle Bell as well, a wood table with four chairs, much nicer than what he would've gotten for a similar price elsewhere. As I type, I have my feet propped up on a wonderful leather coffee table divided into four compartments. The four sections are topped by leather lids that flip over to provide table space. It's pretty and functional, and it feels good under my ankles. I also sleep on a Jingle Bell mattress. It is the firmest mattress I've ever slept on, but I like it. The store has an eclectic feel to it, with two stories full of furniture of all different design schemes. There's a wide selection on display, and there are even more options available for order in catalogues. Delivery is efficient, and I've now dealt twice with a wonderful El Salvadorian man named Nato. He's a total delight, warm and good-natured, and he speaks Korean (and English) about as well as I do. I recommend Jingle Bell whole-heartedly for your furniture needs. I may be biased, but I'm also committed to living in and around Jingle Bell's furniture, so that must count for something. I'm a big fan of both the people behind the store and the merchandise in it. But I listened to my wife and drove over to the Furniture Place and met a nice salesman named Raymond. I need to warn everyone to not expect a nice, fancy, high end showroom like Living Spaces or Ashley. Its a pretty small hole in a wall and a bit unkempt (Its not a bad thing, Hole in the walls are awesome!).An However, they do have hundreds of furniture catalogs from various companies that also provide products to places like Living Spaces and Ashley. An example, I decided to look for a firetruck bunk bed for my son and showed Raymond the exact one from Sears for $700. He then said "I can get the same one for you for $150. When I heard this, I was floored! I realized all the furniture comes from China and every store gets it from the same manufacturer. Its just that Furniture Place has a super low overhead so they can easily beat any competitors pricing. After getting the exact same furniture from Living Spaces I ended up saving more than $5000! The material is so nice, and it's GelFlex Grid, which dissipates heat and relieves pressure. We placed our order on Jan 2nd, 2026, and we decided to change the flat foundation to the adjustable base. We emailed them to help us to change our order. We first received our adjustable base on January 10th, and the mattress arrived yesterday, January 14th. The mattress and the adjustable base are so heavy and sturdy that you may need 2 people to carry them. They packaged and wrapped them so securely and tightly. They also gave us two complimentary sleep masks and a Purple GelFlex Grid Squishy. We love our new mattress and adjustable base, which can adjust the height elevation, and it has a wired remote. The height legs can also be adjustable. The Purple Mattress is medium firm, and it supports our back comfortably. We could tell the difference compared to our old mattress right away. It has a 10-year limited warranty. The Purple mattress really improved our sleep quality. It's a good investment for our health. Highly recommend their products!
