This is a great furniture store and convenient that it's located inside the mall. Our family has been coming here for years now and bought several pieces of furniture from them. They do a really great job of displaying all the furniture and all the pieces are made extremely well and sturdy. They occasionally hold sales and member events too! I want to say that I had the worst experience coming here. The sales associates named Sunny and Jenny, are the two most irresponsible sales I have ever met. My mom came into the store a couple of moments earlier than me. She had decided to buy the bed frame for my little brother. Upon check out and after we paid for the bed frame, I asked my mom about what's the return or exchange policy. She doesn't know because the sales never mentioned it. I was shocked. It made me realize a few things. 1. These sales are most unprofessional: never told us anything about no return or exchange during the thanksgiving sales. For one, it's a trickery sales/marketing strategy. Also, because they just want to sell the bed frame and make commissions. If I've known better, My mom and I would be able to think twice about making the purchase. 2. Apologizing in the most disrespectful way: they apologized in the most bitchy tone, "oh, sorry I didn't tell you in advance, but we don't do return or exchange." And then threats me, "if you are not satisfied with the purchase, I can cancel your order RIGHT NOW." ( Saying that in front of my mom, of course, she won't want to cancel the purchase, because it's set that my little brother wants that bed frame; and my mom told me it's fine and cool down.) 3. And right after, they "gifted" us a cheap mug. Saying that it's the holiday, we should be happy and all. I was surprised you had the face to say that. This is like a slap in my face, pissed me off, and then gift me something and say "oh don't be mad." Last, of all, I just want to say that they are the most irresponsible and unprofessional sales I've ever seen. Guys, please think twice before you make any purchase here. read more

I had a great experience here.  I originally bought my De Rucci bed from the Arcadia store.  The experience there was great with phenomenal service.  They gave me honest opinion on what I should have. They didn't try to sell me more sheets or "extras" that I didn't need. Staff there was so kind and accommodating to us. He shared stories from his experience and showed us the wonders of the De Rucci bed. Having suffered with severe back pain for almost a decade, I can tell you that my life have already changed by making this purchase. Considering you spend about 1/3 of your life sleeping, I felt it was important to invest in a quality mattress. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place that sells memory foam mattresses at the Santa Anita mall. The delivery process for the mattress was very convenient as the store clerk also helped arrange for people to help install the mattress. I also just got some pillows that offer excellent neck support. They currently have a great deal on purchasing multiple pillows so definitely recommend checking out DeRucci if you are in the area. read more

Today, my husband and I were ready to buy a high-end mattress, so we thought we'd check out DeRucci, in the Santa Anita mall. We walked into the huge store. Not one other customer there. Great, we thought. We'll get excellent customer service. That was not to be. There was one saleswoman, who was on the phone. She did not so much as look up when we walked in. Not a nod, nothing. We spent some time testing out the mattresses. Still nothing. She was on the phone the entire time we were in the store. So I thought I'd actually walk up to her, to get some information about the mattresses. As I approached her (and yes, she was still on the phone), she let out a loud shriek. I kid you not. This was truly a unique approach to customer service. I asked her if I was interrupting something. I'll admit that my question was dripping with sarcasm. Which absolutely went over her head. She eventually got off the phone, but she might as well have stayed on it. Because she did not seem to understand my questions, and I sure couldn't understand her "answers." If she had any knowledge of the product, it was nowhere in evidence. After about 2 minutes of this useless interaction, my husband and I simply made a quick getaway. So, to the owners of DeRucci: you can have the greatest product in the world, but if your sales staff could care less, and not know how to explain the product, it will be useless. And, by the way, we were in this same store a couple of years ago, and had a similar experience. That time, two young salewomen were having an intense converation with each other and ignored us the entire time we were in the store. read more
