Hi Bari, I appreciate your response, but several important…read morefacts need clarification: When we initially contacted you nearly two months ago our puppy was only 9 weeks old. We had specific training goals, and we wanted to start immediately to establish a strong foundation. She is now 17 weeks old and after our email to you on February 2nd we have attempted to contact you four separate times (via email, Yelp, NextDoor, and US mail) with no response until now. As I've explained, we've already established a relationship with another trainer and are happy with our progress. While I appreciated the introductory phone call explaining your philosophy and the emailed articles, these were preliminary to the actual training session we paid for. The $190 payment was specifically for the virtual training session with our 9-week-old puppy that never occurred. Had this been a misunderstanding, there have been multiple opportunities to clarify, including on February 3rd. When we set our appointment it was to accommodate your schedule, as you were not available till even later in the evening the day before. We had explained that we were flexible, but that scheduling a training session for our puppy late in the evening was not setting her up for success. If anything but a late evening training session was going to be problematic for your schedule this could have been communicated during the introductory call, rather than taking our payment and then not responding to our emails. At this point, we simply need you to process the $190 reimbursement without further delay. The payment was for a service that was not delivered, and we have made multiple respectful requests, including a certified letter with a March 21st deadline which has now passed without resolution. While we are preparing to proceed with the legal remedies outlined in that communication, we would still prefer to resolve this matter directly and promptly with a full refund of the $190 payment for the virtual training which was never delivered.

We started with lessons over Zoom as our pup had Giardia and we saw great improvements. Yesterday we had our first in person (now that the Giardia is gone!) and it was amazing. Our little guy was pulling on the leash and barking at other dogs as we passed. On our 2.5 mile walk today where we encountered dogs, bicycles, runners, and walkers - NO PULLING and no barking. It was like magic. We are SO very happy and looking forward to many more lessons and achievements!!!

We had tried various tactics, treats to rid Finn of his "bad habits" We were referred to One Day Dog Training through some close friends who had worked with Steve to train their 2 dogs. From the start.. Finn really took to Steve. Steve is personable, knowledgeable, and patient. His love for dogs is felt. He put our minds at ease from the start. Through the training, Steve took time to teach us how to better understand dog behavior and how we can better communicate what we want our dog to do...It was very enlightening. It was an education for us and Finn! At the end of our 3 hour session, we were really amazed to see a transformed young dog. We are soooo proud of Finn. The 3 of us have learned so much! Thank You, Steve!

Lana, my 3 1/2 year-old lab mix, a foster fail that I took in as a 2 yr old, was getting bigger and stronger, jumps on anybody that comes in the door etc. She's a sweetheart, but I needed to be able to mange her energy and size My other two dogs are small and this is the biggest dog I've had. I knew going into this training that it was me that needed most of the training! Steve explained that I needed to learn how to communicate with my dogs, that they communicate differently. What an eye-opener! Everything he explained made sense and in just the few hours we spent together, Lana was already following the cues that Steve taught me. Consistency and repetition is key. We are just 2 weeks in and the process is going great! Steve was absolutely terrific to work with. Somehow, he makes the whole process easy and effortless. His follow up calls to check in are much appreciated and he's available for questions that might come up. I'm so glad I made the call and was able to work with Steve.

We…read morestarted puppy classes when he was 12 weeks old to get him socialized with people and other dogs at a young age. Puppy class was a great experience for him as well as for myself. I got to see how their little brains absorb so much info with positive reinforcement. Every time I visit I pick up tidbits of advice on how to help train my dog the proper way. I am truly impressed on how far Cane has come from that 12 week old puppy. He's becoming very obedient and has learned so many commands & tricks. Jorge is a big & joyful personality that's what makes him awesome in this profession. Cane immediately responds & listens to him. Let's be real, the training is truly for me it is teaching me how to be a better dog owner and how to train the proper way. Since starting to work with Jorge, Cane and I have formed a close bond, he is always focused on me and listens very, well he has his moments but who doesn't. I was taught by Jorge that training continues at home, you cant expect to just take a couple of classes and have your dog completely trained it doesn't work like that you must do the homework & patience is KEY!. Despite the stereo-type of Bully Breeds we were always welcomed by the trainers at Notched to an OTCH with open arms. Even when other trainers were quick to shy away from us or didn't feel comfortable around Cane or having him around their dogs Jorge always stood up for Cane. He let them know that he was just like any other dog and had them interact with him to show them he was not the aggressive dog the media portrays these dogs to be. I am a strong believer that owners create the outcome of their dog. That is why training is so important dogs need leadership and structure. I am 100% comfortable with having Cane around anyone young or old or any animal as I know he is being a respectable proper member of society. Obviously I could go on and on about how great Jorge is but being a dog lover I couldn't be happier with my experience at Notched to an OTCH it says a lot when I drive 40 minutes in traffic just to get my dog trained they're definitely doing something right! I recommend Jorge to everyone I meet when they ask how I get Cane to be so well behaved. Jorge will definitely be my trainers for life!

At around three or four months old, he began exhibiting both separation anxiety and serious reactivity. We knew he was a sweet dog, but his behavior made it impossible to convince others of his sweet nature. After the first trainer, proved an epic failure We began to think that we would have to return him to the shelter. He was utterly unmanageable and getting bigger each passing day We knew returning him would most likely result in him being put to sleep. His reactivity would've barred him from adoption. We absolutely could not allow that to happen. My wife happened upon Freakin Pawsome's website and the outstanding things people had to say about Will. We reached out to Will and he agreed to meet with Mischief At Will's first meeting with Mischief Mischief did his very best Cujo impersonation. I was sincerely worried Will would refuse to train him. I was surprised when Will agreed to take on our challenged Shepherd puppy and very grateful. Once Will introduced himself to Mischief Mischief took to Will immediately in less than 10 minutes. Mischief was taking basic commands from Will and I knew that we had found the right trainer. Over the next four months, I witnessed a total metamorphosis in Mischief. Will very patiently inconsistently guided Mischief to being a truly happy dog! As Will thoughtfully, patiently guided Mischief to being a good dog, He taught an even more important lesson to myself and my wife on how to be good dog parents. Will has given us the tools to continue to expand Mischief's development and Will's expertise has paid off on so many levels. Will quite literally save mischief life and allowed him to become a happy well adjusted family companion. He is also given our whole family a peace we did not believe possible, given Mischief's anxiety, and behaviors before We met Will. We want everyone to know that separation anxiety and reactivity can be overcome. Will has proven it beyond any shadow of a doubt. Mischief is a true testament to Will's expertise. Freakin Pawsome is exemplary in their methods And if you are consistent with the training and the daily implementation of the training, you will have the dog you desire. Thank you, Will you have our deepest gratitude

Thanks to Amy, he's now a (mostly) well-behaved, well-socialized, healthy city dog. She trains him while he's with her, has given us tips to use at home, turned us on to great pet resources, and even been helpful with our new kitten. In addition to ensuring our pup gets a great hike with his pack every day, Amy was a lifesaver when he got sick while we were traveling. She noticed he had an abscess on his side during his regular walk, helped our friends who were pet-sitting get him to the right vet, and checked in with us and them all along the way to ensure he'd be ok. A highlight of my day is seeing her Insta posts of the "pack" romping together. And she sends me personal messages and texts anytime something particularly cute happens. Bean's massive grin and flopping tongue says it all.
