Staff were friendly and the manager (?) came up to me to ask how their new item (chicken) tasted. The place was certainly not crowded and no long lines out the door which was my fear. Used to be top tier. When they first opened, they were hitting it off with the split cups and great milky flavors. Even the mangonada's were great. Now it's subpar. They even removed the logos from the cups so it seems even more generic. I got the Ube Horchata and it almost tasted sour. The ube milkshake was ok though. Both drinks totaled up to $14 -- that's $7 a drink Definitely would rather go to Kung Fu Tea down the road, or Share Tea in Orenco Station to save a few bucks for better boba read more

Was interested to try the lime cane and mango cane drinks as well as the classic elote. Prices are steep and left us disappointed compared to the drink taste. The mango drink was an additional $2 to have without ice so it cost $7, when drinking it you can see the mango separated and tasted like it was close to being rotten. The lime drink has little to no lime flavor and is just a weird flavor + sweet. The classic elote tasted alright but it seemed more like esquite than true elote, and for a small portion at $6... in Mexico you can get a quality elote for less than 80 cents (10 to 20 pesos). So all in all not the worst but prices seem a bit steep and stingy. read more

Whew got here at 630 on a Saturday and beat the evening rush! Lucky me. Ordered a milk tea and split cup peach tea and matcha tea. Both were deliciously refreshing! Service was quick. Zero Degrees is what I would call a "California style bubble tea fused with a Mexican drink/dessert shop". Which I absolutely love. Portland metro area is definitely in need of a place like Zero Degrees. Having said that and after trying out a few of their offerings, it's not worth the trek unless you're already in the area. Service just needs to be better for the volume of people ordering drinks. Maybe another register? The matchata was delicious and refreshing. Best thing on the menu. Popcorn chicken inedible. I wish I have this place in Seattle! I was in the area and stopped by here before heading home. We ordered a thai tea, Ube and Lychee Crush. All the drinks were flavorful and not super sweet. My brother ordered a box of popcorn chicken and it came with fries and veggies and a drink at an affordable price. TASTY too! This place gets busy, but the staff knows how to handle the crowd. Went here last week as the line finally did not look that bad....but was wrong... even with the short line, total time spent was a little over an hour. I liked the selection that they have and it's nice to be able to get two different flavors while ordering just one cup. I really liked the matchada and the Jasmine milk tea. Tje strawberry horchata was also tasty. The mango twists (slices) were pretty tasty. The refresher had a bit too much ice in it. The popcorn chicken had good flavors. I think once they are officially open, they will find a way to move the line quickly. Other than that, the place was good. Came here from Seattle since I've seen so many Instagram posts and wanted to try it for myself. It's located in a little plaza. When I went, they were out of French fries and the thing I wanted to try the most was the xxtra flaming hot Cheetos fries. But I ended up ordering the hot Cheetos elotes, the Ube milkshake, and the chicken wings. I really enjoyed the milkshake but the elotes was nothing special. Zero Degrees is very busy. Fortunately, we came in on a Thursday at 5:15p and we didn't have to stand in line as much as everyone else. As we were leaving, the line went out the door. The ambiance is very inviting. The music is playing and there is seating abound. It is very astonishing how busy this place is. I ordered the Split cup of Jasmine Tea on one side and the other side was the Earl Grey Milk Tea with Boba. I enjoyed the Jasmine Tea flavor. The Earl Grey Tea was average. The Boba was nice and fresh and chewy, yet, I didn't care for the sweet flavoring. My sister ordered the Jasmine Tea and said it tasted bitter. I enjoyed the floral taste though. Too me, it tasted fine. My niece ordered the Thai Tea Frappacino and she said it tasted how she expected it to taste like. She said it wasn't bad. Overall, this seems like a great place to get fresh tea. If you enjoy waiting and anticipating for your tea, this is the place to be. I really enjoyed drinking from the cute split cup. read more

First time at zero degrees and it was alright! The drinks were okay along with the boba. The wait was longer than other boba places, the popcorn chicken was okay too! Still need to try the magonada! They've improved quite a bit since opening up. Wait times are shorter, and the ordering system, though not perfect, has drastically improved. Location wise, it's well next to a casino so it's not the most ideal location, but hey, at least there's pretty good boba/iced drinks in this area. Strawberry horchata - too much ice in here, so you're paying for a drink but it's mostly ice. Mangochunk - this is my wife's go to. Not many places execute this well and they do a great job. My sister and I are ube milkshake addicts but last weekend, we had some friends visit us from California so we took them here. My sister and I tried the split cup, the sea salt taro latte and house coffee. Oh my word! Both are soooo good!!! The house coffee is the best Vietnamese coffee ever! Our friends love it there too! The drinks and food are so original they raved about it! The weekend staff is our favorite. Vince is our guy! He knows how much we love the ube milkshake. This is a interesting place. Super delicious smoothie type drink (not healthy smoothies, indulgent smoothies). They have wings and fries. We had the asada fries, mango smoothies, the oreo smoothie and a coffee drink. I wouldn't drive across town to go here but if your in the area and want a sweet treat, Zero Degrees is a good option. Their famous mangonada led me here and it was pretty good. It wasn't the best I've had but it was still good. For an extra $1 I ordered the mangonada with the mango twist and I was disappointed because the mango they used on the twist was not ripe. But then again, it wouldn't make sense to use ripen mangos on the twist or else it'll fall apart. The mangonada by itself was good. They do use ripen mangos with mango slush. I also ordered the strawberry horchata and their thai milk tea in a split cup and regretted ordering it because the drinks came out ultra-sweet..... never again! I only ordered them because they were part of the popular drinks. Lastly, I got their popcorn chicken and I thought it was pretty good but it kinda annoyed me how the chicken pieces were so darn small! Honestly, I would give 5 stars bc I've been ordering delivery here with my brother a lot and I like their food and drinks. I rarely come in-store but when I do it's a good experience. I had a hard time understanding the cashier as her voice was soft, I even took off my headphones lol. Much to my surprise the tick on the wheel and the prompt said that I won a travel bottle. The girl took awhile to come back and when she did, she told me that it's it's kinda close to the garlic shrimp despite the tick's point is on the travel bottle (by a lot of pixels?). So she told me to start over and I got the garlic shrimp noodles. I was confused as to why I needed to start over but I didn't even wanna waste my energy at that point and be a Karen, so whatever. Leaving out a star because the staff seemed very 'all over the place' and confused, the mango wasn't ripe at all and just tasted crunchy, and only two of the about 6 employees there were wearing masks. I would really appreciate if food service employees wore masks during this covid pandemic. But yeah, all in all it was a fine place. While looking for a new bubble tea spot, my family decided on checking this place out. At first, the menu strikes you as not the traditional: tea-sugar-jellies, small or large size "shtick". It threw me off my game but I stuck with it-and by the end of my drink, I was delighted. Ever gone to a fair and said: "why do people put chill powder on their fruit?" BECAUSE IT'S GOOD! I got the popular item-the "Mangonada". It is 96% mango fruit and blended mango goodness, and 4% heat. Great combo. I spent too much time eating the fruit first-mistake. The spice all settled to the bottom and my first sip was strong...a rookie mistake. Mix it all up! When I did, I was rewarded with the right balance of mango flavor, refreshing cool cleanse of the pallet, and the right amount of spice. Since their grand opening of waiting hours and hours I have come back and saw that they had a lot more additions to their menu- both drinks and food wise. Also, no lines to wait for! For a Sunday afternoon it was pretty packed but people seemed to empty tables fast as they left after getting the drinks. I got the cookie and cream sundae ($5) and it was a pretty big serving. They didn't skim on the soft serve and the oreo crumbs added a nice decoration as well as flavor. I couldn't finish it and can see myself sharing it with a couple people. The popcorn chicken my friend got also was a large serving and came with two ketchup packets. Overall the orders came out fast but the layout of the store makes it very crowded easily and feel stuffy. The orders are called out by number but cannot be heard as they are called out by the front counter, my friend and I didn't realize our orders were called as we were all the way at the other end of the space. If there was a different system or at least a visual board showing what order was being served that might help. The staff though is very kind and courteous too. read more
