I'm. In. LOVE!!! After hearing my friends rave about this place, I decided to give it a try. Glad to say I was NOT disappointed. This location is hidden as you can't see it from 1960, but it's on the left side of the Target. Just turn left (or right depending on where you're coming from) on Cutten and you'll quickly see it on your left! Parking can be limited as there is only a good two lines of parking spaces, but it does connect to the Target parking lot and you could maybe park across the street. Luckily, we found a parking spot right in front around 7 PM on a Wednesday night. The interior and exterior decor is fun, clean, and modern with an organic vibe. The inside is very small, but there are a handful of tables, a bar with raised seating, and they also have outdoor seating with many more tables. But who wants to drink a cold drink outside in the cold? Lol. That being said, it was PACKED when we got there. The line almost started at the door but we were able to squeeze in. All the tables were occupied and there was very little wiggle room. We waited around 10-15 minutes before ordering. This gave me ample amount of time to review the menu. When we got to the register, the cashier was very nice and prompt. Behind the register, there was a whole village running back and forth and handing things to each other. Needless to say, they were working efficiently and effectively as the drinks and orders were coming out pretty fast. What we ordered: -Pink Lychee slush. You wanna get this if you're craving something fruity, light, and sweet. This drink has the perfect blend of lychee and strawberry. They even put slices of strawberry. I definitely recommend it if you're wanting something refreshing. -Jasmine milk tea. There are boba places where when you order a jasmine milk tea, it's heavy and powdery and sugary. But this jasmine milk tea was surprisingly light and you could really taste the jasmine tea. Like. Really taste it. And it tasted SO GOOD! This a drink you wanna get if you're not feeling very adventurous and you want something you know lol. -Ube Milkshake. But lemme talk about dat Ube milkshake doe!!! Originally, I wasn't that interested in it because I don't prefer to eat Ube. However, I'm a liar because I freakin' fell in LOVE with the Ube Milkshake. Not only is it super cute in design, but it literally taste like Halo-Halo (filipino dessert). This is a drink you get if you want a dessert. I don't recommend sharing, because you'll want to finish the rest! -Sea salt green tea. I actually got this to go from a different location after seeing it in sooo many pictures, but honestly... you gotta acquire a taste for it. Not my cup of tea, but I know this is what other people live for. A good thing about this place is that they do split cups. In retrospect, I shoulda done that, but it does cost more! -Popcorn Chicken Box. This menu item also includes a signature drink. this was DELICIOUS! The fries were thinly cut but were seasoned well as each bite.. no matter how tiny.. called me back for more. The popcorn chicken was also juicy and seasoned well. Went to the grand opening with a friend and we both got mangonadas*. Overall the flavor of the drink, wonderful. I got a tamarind straw with mine that added an extra bite however the mangos in the drink were disappointing. They were not ripe or sweet at all but it's also not mango season, so that makes sense. The cashier didn't provide us a receipt with the breakdown of the costs and most likely charged us extra once we realized it (we had the bogo coupon from yelp that wasn't applied). The location we came to is the one on 1960. The drinks we're really good. I had the strawberry limeade & my husband had the spicy watermelon. The watermelon drink could use a little more spice. But the food needs some work. We had the classic elote & the honey BBQ popcorn chicken. I'm Hispanic so I get picky with Hispanic food. Knowing this is Asian & Hispanic fusion food, I would use roasted corn not corn from a can and add some asian spice. They added way to much Parmesan and not enough lime. (one small slice of lime is what they gave us) As for the honey BBQ chicken good flavor but bad quality. We will come back for drinks. My suggestion would be to offer better dairy substitutes for those of us who would like to try the dairy drinks. read more

Nothing to write home about from this place. Tried the Ube Milkshake, Cookie Monster, and Popcorn Chicken with Cajun Fries and everything was mediocre at best. Both drinks, although prepared nicely, had a very muted flavors -- especially the Ube Milkshake, which, imo, seemed more like a taro shake with food coloring. The boba was very, very chewy. The popcorn chicken uses dark meat and tastes kind of like the duck or chicken you'd eat at a Chinese place in Bellaire. Had to wait a long time for my food to come out. Waited 20 minutes and people who had ordered after me had already been receiving their food, so I had to go up and ask just to make sure that they hadn't forgotten about my order. Visited Zero Degrees on Father's Day (Sunday afternoon) to satisfy our sweet tooth and let's just say that the drinks hit the spot! I ordered the small Ube Milkshake for my kids to share, (which was the perfect size, big enough for them to share and for daddy to sip some as well) and the split cup for myself which included the strawberry horchata as well as the cucumber lime. The strawberry horchata was so creamy and delicious, it reminded me of the horchatas I have in Mexico but with strawberry yumminess added to it which makes it that much better! But it wasn't overly sweet. The cucumber lime is so refreshing, it's a bit sour but nothing overpowering. I'd give this place 5 stars if there was more room. It was crowded, they have the option of outdoor seating which I appreciated being that I have kids. read more

WOW I am sooo excited I discovered this place off of Yelp on a road trip!! I was initially looking for Boba Tea but found Boba and so much more!! The hot Cheeto cheese fries are some of the craziest, yet best thing I've ever tasted! The fries here are so delicious because they make sure to make them crispy enough to avoid letting the cheese make them soggy. I didn't particularly like the chicken because of the seasoning which was very much a personal preference. Considering how delicious the fries were I wouldn't recommend the chicken simply because they have some other items that are really delicious instead! The watermelon drink was sooo delicious, it's hard to find a place that makes these right and they nailed it!!! It's a very interested combination on the menu of Asian & Mexican food inspired items. TIP: the menu here isn't fit for a big meal and instead some yummy drinks or a light meal or snack. A lot of their menu items are super creative and look delicious!! First time visit here. I want to say that it was disappointing, not sure if this matters or not. We got there when the shop opened and my pregnant wife and I wanted to get boba drinks and they said they didn't have any. About half hour later I see a customer get boba drink. I asked why they said, "it wasn't ready at the time we ordered". I believe they should have said this from the start or ask if we wanted to wait for it. Anyways we decided to get other drinks which were definitely not good at all. I got a Cookie Monster shake and it was more like iced cookies and cream drink super water down. Same thing happens with my wife's drink she had purple drink that was just ice not barely sweet. The carne asada was good but need more cheese and sauce. I don't know what all the hype is about. Customer service is something to be desired. The employees have no knowledge on what drink can go well with what food and lack of communication makes wonder if the owners know about this. Zero degrees is one of my go to boba spots. The drinks are great and the food is great! There are tons of parking lots at this location. There are about 6-8 tables where people can sit, and then they have an island kind of sitting arrangement. Service was great! I ordered the Sea Salt Green Tea w Boba. Big fan of boba, grew up in So-Cal and have had boba all over the states and in Asia. The drinks at Zero Degrees are good but also cost a little more than the average price for boba. I like that there is a limited selection of milk teas so they just focus on what works and do it right. The split cup is quite novel in that you get to have 2 different drinks at the same time. I went with the tiger sugar milk and classic milk tea, which are each great on their own. For Asians who are lactose intolerant, the classic and Jasmine mille teas have non-dairy creamer which is a plus. The tapioca balls were sweet and chewy as they should be and the tea flavor in the milk tea comes through. Popcorn chicken is good but I would NOT recommend the carne asada fries. Having lived in San Diego, these are not carne asada fries in my opinion. The flavor profile is all over the place with the briny pico de gallo and sweet tomato-y salsa and odd nacho-like cheese; just not very appetizing. I honestly don't remember what the beef tasted like. They should just make a solid kimchi fries instead. Would be 3.5/4 stars but the higher price tag ($5-6.50 range with add-on), and fries take 1 star away. read more

Originally came in for boba but decided to try some snack boxes since it came with drinks. Their snack boxes are $11.95 with $1 up charge each for a split cup and smoothie drinks. The got the carne asada fries and popcorn chicken. Portions are huge which made it great for sharing. Staff was friendly, there isn't much seating inside however there is plenty of patio seating. Short Version: They don't carry the very heavily advertised Hot Cheeto Mac and Cheese, service was pretty subpar, drinks are really good but if you're looking to snag their glass bottle make sure you order the right category of drink, and food was meh. I decided I wanted to go and try the Hot Cheeto Mac and Cheese. When I got to the store, the person taking my order didn't seem all that helpful. I looked on the menu for the Mac and Cheese, but didn't see it. I was then informed that this particular branch of Zero Degrees doesn't carry it. Even though it's part of their advertising. I ordered Hot Cheeto Fries, as well as their Hot Cheetos Elote, and a Strawberry Horchata. The drink was pretty good, but I was under the impression that I'd have the option to upgrade to the wonderful glass bottles they carry. I wasn't offered the option. It was only after checking the menu again did I find out that those are only for certain drinks. The food itself was pretty average. It was by no means terrible, but it didn't blow my mind either. The mangonadas are alright, but definitely not the best that I've had. You can probably get a better one from a hole in the wall Mexican stand. For me, it just didn't have that kick to it and really tasted mostly like a juice mixer instead of completely fresh mangos. I did enjoy the mango slices at the top with the tajin and I still enjoyed my drink as well and it quenched my craving. Probably won't come back here for one in the future though. read more

I've tried the ube milkshake, peach blossom, strawberry bliss, popcorn chicken combo box, and elotes with hot cheetos. I enjoyed the popcorn chicken combo meal and ube milkshake. The other drinks were decent, but I'd like to try some of their teas or the strawberry mojito next time. I appreciated the addition of lime for elotes, but the portion size and the amount of cheese/hot cheetos didn't make it feel worth the price. It would be better to go to Blue Ocean Smoothies or some other place for that elote craving. I'd definitely come back for the ube milkshake and the popcorn chicken. This place is packed! All food and drink items seems to be good. I haven't had anything bad since I've ordered here. Something they have to offer that others don't have are their split cups. You do pay a bit more than a regular cup, but you get two drinks in one cup! My go to's are jasmine milk tea, thai milk tea, ube, matcha milk tea, strawberry horchata, and sea salt green tea. I've only tried the chicken nuggets for food and they were delicious. I gotta try the rest of their menu from time to time. read more
