Wahoos does not disappoint! We get Wahoos at other times but ALWAYS on our way home from the airport when we return from a trip. It's so easy - call ahead and it's ready for pick up at the Rainbow location right off the 215. We also eat in at times - cold beer and a casual vibe. We order the grilled fish taco platter and the shrimp outer reef burrito and the quality and quantity is always perfect! Highly recommend - prices are reasonable and the food is delicious! read more

Hands-down, the food is amazing. The rice and the beans are really authentic and I think that the prices are reasonable. We also had the best customer service, which is honestly rare to find, Dylan was wonderful and had a very cool attitude towards my three-year-old son. Haven't been here in years. Let's just say my visit the first years it was open wasn't to great. Kind of middle. Not good. But not bad. For those of the new. It has a very surfer 'ish design on the inside. Stickers and variances (see pics for reference) Only about 4 tables at the time I ate here. Compared to the first years when I used to come here it seems not as busy. Good for me as I don't have to wait or anything like that. You come in and order from the front entrance (think of how walking into a McDonald's or any fast food chain and ordering) then proceeds to sit down on your own in the main sitting area. Came to try my usual from a while back which was the steak and wifey got the usual salmon. Surprisingly the reason I stopped coming before was because the salmon and steak was dry. Covered up with a sauce. Fast forward to today it didn't seem dry at all. And the flavors from what I remember back then seemed to still be here. Based on what I see here today. I'm kind of glad I gave it a 2nd try. I usually try to go back even if I had a bad experience to see if anything changes at any place I go to eat. Wahoo's always has great food! One thing I really like about this place is their self serve salsa bar! Always fresh and delicious. We came here for dinner and had some items off of their happy hour! We had the Carnitas taco and happy hour carne asada fries. The food was so good, we will definitely be coming back! They checked on us quite a few times throughout our meal which was awesome! They play a great mix of music in here as well. Only thing that was a little hiccup was we were charged full price even though we ordered specifically from the happy hour menu. The food here is amazing. You must order the Baja rolls. They have a little kick from the pico, but they were so fresh and flavorful. This Banzai bowl was the bomb.com. Plus they have great service. I love the Hawaiian beach ambience. Definitely a great place for locals and tourists. read more

My first time in a Wahoo's! I was over in this area for a doctor's appointment and decided to have lunch. I ordered two fish tacos and sat at the bar to play some poker while I waited. The inside is clean and the employee who took my order was very friendly. The bartender was attentive and upbeat. My tacos were delicious with roasted tomato salsa. Even though I lost some $$ , this place is still a winner. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. They currently do not have any hard cider or hard kombucha ( that's my thing) but they do have regular kombucha and have four options for that. Service: there was only one lady working the whole bar, it was a slow Wednesday but she did a great job. Ambiance: it's a very relaxed bar, there are some gaming you can play on the front. It's always fairly quiet at every Wahoo's location I visit but they thankfully manage to stay open somehow. This location was no different. When we arrived, the dining area was completely empty. The bar had a few people in it. As for ambience the first thing that hit me was the cigarette smoke odor coming from the bar. I should say I'm a former smoker so I'm very sensitive to it. You may not be as sensitive and it may not be so prevalent. My girlfriend didn't even notice it. We were promptly greeted by a very friendly girl. She was helpful, and very personable and our orders were placed quickly. You order at the counter but then your food is brought to your table and they clean up for you after you finish. My wet burrito was delicious and my girlfriend said her fish tacos were delightful as well. We had a side of fries which were also delicious too. I've been going to Wahoo's for years so I'm familiar with the layout and how things should be and this location does it well. It has been a while since I have stopped in here but I am glad we did. What a cute spot to grab an affordable lunch! My husband got fish tacos and noted that the salmon was wild caught. I think that's what you're looking for when it comes to salmon so def a plus. I was more impressed that things were labeled vegan! Even the rice and beans which was refreshing and made me feel confident that it was safe to eat! Often beans are made with pig grease or fat and rice can be made with chicken stock. Vegans you know what I mean! This stuff was labeled. No guessing or hoping! I was also excited to see tofu on the menu! There was a full bar and it was off to the side in its own area. Came in super late, after midnight. Only the bar area was open. Sat in the booth for like an hour and no one ever came up to take our order. There was 1 waiter that was super cool that instantly approached us and was going to take our order, but his shift was done and he turned us over to the guy and girl on the late shift. Had to finally just approach the bar to give them the order. They got part of the order wrong and after letting them know, the waitress looked pretty annoyed. Table was never visited after the food was dropped off except to replace the messed up food item. After we were done, sat at the table for probably another 40 minutes after finishing waiting for the check. Once again, had to approach the bar to get their attention. This time though, they wouldn't acknowledge us to even give us the check, kept walking by over and over serving everyone else but us. Eventually we got their attention and they finally gave us the check. The girl and guy duo had plenty of time to chat it up with regulars and other people. But would give each other looks as if they were silently battling for who would get the horrible task of having to help us. First they got my order very wrong. So to avoid confrontation, I just ate what they gave me. It was certainly nothing to write home about. It was supposed to be carne asada, but it had a good bit of fat. I was afraid to get the fish not knowing what kind of fish it was, as I didn't want Chinese Tilapia. I had never been to a wahoo believe it or not. I've lived in las vegas for 23 years. I've driven by them often. Didnt know what they were all about. I came with a group of 4 friends. I got some enchiladas and I believe some chicken nachos. The nachos were pretty disappointing as they seemed dry all the way around from the chicken to the cheese. The enchiladas tasted bland and were ok. The rest of the group indicated that their food was just ok. The quality of the food certainly did not match the prices. It may have been a off night. I came to this Asian/Mexican restaurant because, well, I like both Asian and Mexican. But will I like a fusion or some blend of both? My Spicy Crispy Fish Sandwich was indeed spicy and crispy. But it was just OK. I could have gone to any other restaurant and probably got the same fish sandwich taste. What I was looking for, really, is something that would taste Asian and Mexican at the same time. And it doesn't. Also, my palate wasn't thrilled by the taste of the sandwich. I added a few drops of ketchup and, after, scribbled some ranch dressing on it. But it didn't really help. I guess I chose the wrong entree for this type of restaurant. But I wouldn't know that until I tried other offerings. Thing is, I'm already too full to eat more. In fact the sandwich and the complimentary Chips y Salsa were too much for me already--I had to ask for a to-go container before I left.
