When we met with the GM, Matt, he opened by repeating that we were 'late' and that there was nothing he could do. When I tried to clarify that the email said arrival 10 minutes early was a recommendation (not a requirement), the conversation stayed argumentative rather than de-escalated. As a GM, that was disappointing to experience. We were on a time crunch and asked if we could join a later session instead, and if not, we preferred a refund. We were only offered a voucher. I also requested a simple statement confirming our check-in time (2:58 PM), and he refused to provide anything in writing. Overall, this was a frustrating experience and the customer service was poor. I'd strongly recommend leadership/customer service training and clearer policies communicated to customers.

Went out and found an employee to ask about this. She said she would check on it, so I went back into the theater. Wait 10 minutes and got up to check on this again. Found same employee and she said they were working on it. When it finally arrived they dropped off our order, but no napkins. Love the idea of this service, but the execution is not great. Even mid-construction, with unfinished furniture (pardon the dust in the pic!) I felt the magic of this place. It's a perfect size and format. I can't wait to go back with two primary use-cases in mind: 1. I'm decent at golf, but I really want to be better. And the way that golf tech has evolved lately puts professional level data right at my fingertips. Why wouldn't I want to get scientific about my swing? Blades has the cutting-edge technology that will allow me to spend the time in a climate-controlled and cozy environment to dial things in and practice practice practice. But also... 2. Bring a group of friends and have fun playing on the type of courses I may never get to visit in real life. Pebble Beach, anyone? The simulator has practically everywhere.
