I called ZeroRez to have my carpet cleaned after my dog got sick and vomited on it four or five times. Poor guy. I scheduled the appointment for July 31 and took the entire day off work so everything would go smoothly. Around 3:00 p.m., after no one had arrived, I called to see what was going on. I was placed on hold for quite a while and then told that my appointment was not on the route for some reason, even though I had received an email confirmation. Right after that call, I received another email saying my appointment had been canceled. That was confusing because I had just been told there was no appointment on the schedule. I called back and spoke with a supervisor who was polite and professional. After looking into it, I was told the situation was somehow my fault and that there was nothing they could do to make it right. I wasted an entire vacation day waiting for an appointment that never happened. One star is generous. read more

However, this transaction revealed a complete absence of integrity, as the quoted price was not honored, no accountability, as unauthorized charges were applied with no corrective response, no transparency, as critical cost changes and service conditions were withheld until after payment was collected, and solicitation practices that bypass standard invoicing and create unverifiable payment trails. Zerorez's response to this matter was not a refund, an apology, or any acknowledgment of wrongdoing. Instead, they proposed to return and reclean the carpet, the very same service they failed to deliver the first time. Furthermore, this offer came with a condition: that all newly delivered furniture be removed from the rooms in order to grant them access to the carpet again. This is unacceptable on every level. A company that failed to perform the job correctly the first time, despite receiving advance notice, photographs, detailed descriptions, and having confirmed their capability, does not merit a second opportunity, particularly under conditions that are now less favorable than the original. We have had this company clean a few times. The last one we had some bad stains from a rescue dog. I was gullible and a bit desperate and allowed the tech to convince me they had the product that would get the stains out all the way to the padding. He assured me he could get the stains out permanently. I reiterated that they would not come back like they always do after cleaning. He assured me over and over they would be gone. I spent close to $1000 and the carpet looked so good. The stains did stay away longer but they are 100% back. I don't like being misled. Just say it "shouldn't come back" or "it won't come back as quickly" or "I don't really know" but don't bs people to take their hard earned money. I would not recommend a company that misleads people and is not upfront just to make more profit. read more

Warning do not use this company!! I should have read all these bad reviews first. I was quoted $156 for cleaning but when it came time to pay they tried to charge me $250! I called and customer service was no help and would not honor the quoted price. I understand prices can vary slightly once on site but not by $100. Horrible shady business practice. Horrible company. My rugs and upholstery looked just the same after they cleaned it as they did when they arrived. Use Dalworth and/or A-ABC Chem Dry if you're in the DFW area. Afterwards, I used Dalworth for rugs and A-ABC Chem Dry for upholstery. A bit more pricey but you will not be disappointed. Looks brand new. What a waste of $400 and then have to have it all redone. ZEROREZ A NO GO!!! Wrote to D Cole, Zerorez Dallas Mgr.: Please pass the following on to your base manager and your corporate and Dallas offices. The 3rd and 4th pictures show what I got for an almost $400 failed service of carpet cleaning from "ZEROrez". Your two men who came on April 17, and back on April 18, for an additional extravagant amount, can vouch for the FACT that THERE WERE ZERO STAINS TO TREAT! It was AFTER the 30 day, so called guarantee, that this stain began to surface and worsen as time went on. I was told that management would DO NOTHING to remedy THEIR ERROR, and I was treated very rudely by the first, second, and fifth unprofessional female who talked over me, not a bit concerned with my terrible carpet "servicing". I had to hire, for an additional $161, another company, who was happy to come out TODAY, when no promised call back from a Zerorez manager, for the 2nd time, would return my phone call. Best Carpet Restoration, WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, did a superb service, were friendly and did the enzyme treatment gratis,and here is their result. (See 1st and 2nd pics below below). I generously offered Charlie, from your Phoenix office, and the hateful Dallas woman rep, to pay 1/2 if Zerorez would take responsibility for my ruined carpet and make it spotless again. I told the Second Lady I spoke to around 4pm today, the same thing. She was very nice and said a base manager would get back with me in 3 days. I told her I was supposed to get a call back from a manager TODAY, before 1pm. It didn't happen, so I called back around 4. That's when the rep tried and succeeded in getting D Cole on the line for me. I put the stained pictures on my fb page and you have gotten many NEGATIVE Comments telling of similar UNSATISFACTORY reviews from past victims of ZEROREZ. Not one person said they had a positive experience with YOUR COMPANY. Three friends thanked me for my post, saying they WERE going to call ZEROREZ, to do their carpet cleaning BUT WON'T NOW!!! You not helping me with the problem YOU caused with a big stain on my carpet, has cost you MORE than it would have, had you cleaned up your mess on my carpet splitting the cost with me or just handling the WHOLE expense. they came to my home today to do a duct cleaning service. the technician took his time to try and find additional services they would recommend that basically doubled my estimate. since I did not fall into the trap and pay more money they refused to do the work. duct cleaning is all I needed and wanted. they attempted to upsell me by claiming there was mold growth in the plenum boxes. so I had called a trusted ac contractor come look at their claims too. one great question, how do you identify MOLD without sending off for testing? as any reputable company would have had done to be able to claim that it was in fact mold. The HVAC crew that checked it out said it was just dust and debris that has accumulated over time being a 30 year old house. They had no skin in the game and no reason to be dishonest, never calling zeroez again... read more

Yep, I knew that Google 4.8 star review must be fake. Yelp always is more accurate. My experience was similar to others: paid extra for urine stain removal, guy put full on hose on carpet (odd), stain did not come out, stain is actually larger than before. Called and was told would have to pay more for them to come back out. There are many other carpet cleaning companies. I'll be using one of them going forward and I recommend you do also. read more

I had to call them at 3:30 and the phone operator had a script of oh the tech is delayed due to the current job taking longer than expected. I then had to call back at 5:00 and the phone operator said. The tech was now having van problems and we would have to reschedule. No one ever called me. Shady shady company. I have been a loyal customer for roughly six years. That ends today. In February 2026 I scheduled to have my carpets cleaned which also included a promotion for a $50 gift card to a restaurant. Upon completing the cleaning I asked the tech if I would be receiving the gift card he told me yes. After waiting for roughly a month I never received the gift card. In March I called and was told that I should have received the gift card within 30 days and they would send my name and address the the women over gift card and give it another 30 days. After another 30 days I have called 5 times over the last week. Each time I'm told I will hear from a manager by the end of day. I feel deeply disrespected and unappreciated as a customer. I will never recommend or support a company that does stand by their word or even have the common decency to call me back. First, this rating is not the fault of the technicians. They did their best with the process and products they had available, although they did arrive about an hour late. The Zerorez carpet cleaning process and customer service interactions, on the other hand, are very poor. After our cleaning, we were told that the remaining stains were "permanent stains, likely from ink." After the cleaning, I followed up with a spot treatment and a steam cleaner, and the "permanent stains" were lifted to significantly less! I have photos to document the difference. When I sent the photos to Zerorez, they required that we schedule a follow-up cleaning before discussing any reimbursement.... so we did. The crew came out and asked, "Why are we here? If you've already gotten the stains up, what are we suppose to do?" We explained that we agreed, but Zerorez required it. They stayed about 15 minutes and headed out. At this point, we gave up on any reimbursement, which I'm sure was their intent. Notes to be aware of: - The first time the techs came out, the house was empty, so every space was accessible. The second time the techs came out, the requirement was that we move all furniture so they could access all areas. They will not move furniture. - We paid extra for the stairs. Zerorez cleaned the tops of each step but not the risers. - In general, Zerorez requires that homeowners do MUCH of the prep work... pre-vacuum, move furniture, provide styrofoam blocks under furniture when they run out, etc. - Based on a family member's experience today, if your room is deemed "oversized," be prepared for your fee to be doubled on site. - So, will your carpets be cleaner than when you started, yes. BUT, are there other carpet cleaning services that can achieve the same thing while providing better cleaning and far better service? A resounding yes! Look elsewhere!! read more

They do an excellent job cleaning our carpets, especially considering we have some stains due to our small dog. Scammers. They told us we had pet urine stains in the house we bought and they could remove some pet urine stains if we paid this extra $1,500 cleaning fee. They didn't get the stains out and then they claimed it was bleach stains and not pet stains. Then they acted like the stains were impossible to remove and had no justification for charging an extra $1,500. Now I have to file a credit card dispute. read more

My mother hired Zerorez (Dallas) to clean the carpet in her house after seeing their $99 special. She only has one carpeted room in her home (her bedroom) and a handful of small throw rugs. The Zerorez employee came by and performed additional services (odor removal) without her knowledge about the substantial upcharge, and did not tell her the final price until after he was done. At the end of the end of a less than 2 1/2 hour visit, they presented her a bill for over $700 for the one bedroom and 7 small throw rugs. My mother lives alone and is in her mid 80's. I believe the Zerorez employee took advantage of her due to her age and circumstances. After she protested regarding the cost (she expected $200-300 based on what the representative told her before the cleaning), the price was reduced to about $620. $620 is a ridiculous price to charge to clean one bedroom and a handful of small throw rugs (less than 100sqft). The price to clean and deodorize the single room was $425 + tax and service fees. I called the branch to inquire about the bill and the substantial upcharges (and protest the lack of transparency of their employee). I spoke with their representative (Cathy) multiple times and was told they would not do anything to reduce the price or upcharges. I would NOT recommend Zerorez to anyone. If you choose to use their services, get the total price in writing before they do any work in your home. read more

I scheduled a cleaning for today with the CURRENT 3 room special which is now 109. I was fully aware there'd be a $20 service charge added plus tax. The tech was on time (actually early) which worked for me and was very attentive and helpful. He never tried to sell me any add ons and even agreed that the add on treatments for all the stains i had would be extremely pricey, but assured me that with the basic cleaning it would get rid of most if not all of them. I'm happy to say that it did! There are a few very faint signs of the stains but I am overall very pleased with the results! My total was 140 and I did tip. It turned out I became sick from what my son had gotten the past couple of days. (Stomach bug) I wanted to wait to try and not rest during my time window so I could be ready to get them in and clean everything since it was the day of and I had all my furniture moved. I didn't want to reschedule. Time goes by and it's 3 o clock and no text... nothing... I had to call them! They told me the technician is 50 mins away which would put him at 4 o clock. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they were able to schedule me quickly. I used them once before in 2018 and did a good job, I had no idea things changed. I received a confirmation call the day before and I asked the representative about furniture protection since I just bought new furniture for the room. She put me on hold and came back on the line to confirm that the furniture would be put up on blocks for protection. I also specifically only wanted carpet cleaning, I was not looking for anything extra. Of course I wasn't home and they ended up upselling a whole treatment to my husband who was working from home and not really paying attention. That was a $60 up charge we did not even need. The other issue here is they did not in fact put the furniture on blocks like they said they would. When I called to talk about he charge that was not authorized and the furniture not being put up as advertised I was told I needed to tell the technician to put it up on blocks? Why would I do that If you just told me that is standard and they protect your furniture especially wood furniture? I called immediately once I was made aware of what happened and requested a call back, no one called back until the follow day at about 2 pm. The lady named Kathy was passive aggressive and the main point was they don't do refunds. And customer blaming, it is my job to tell the tech who has experience that he needs to protect the furniture even though I was told that is standard and that they always protect customer furniture? Just an all around mess. Once I could tell she is well versed in customer blaming I asked to get a call back from someone else who can help me. Tech came to clean carpet and spent one hour cleaning 4 bedrooms, hall and living room. This was the worst attempt at cleaning we have ever had. Dog hair was left by the baseboards. After barely one hour the charge was $621 which is more than I have ever been charged. We did not receive a receipt for our payment. I gave Zerorez a call on Wednesday to clean my carpet the following day after 1:00 PM. I explained to them that I needed the job done on either Thursday or Friday, as I had to leave town within two days. The company scheduled the job for Thursday, and I waited the entire day, but they didn't contact me until 4:00 PM to inform me that their truck had broken down and they had to reschedule. In my opinion, this is poor business conduct. The company should have communicated with me earlier if they couldn't make it on time so that I could have contacted another company to get the job done. I had already informed them that I needed to get the job done by Thursday or Friday so that I could run my errands on the day that I didn't have to stay at home. The reason for my low-star rating is the price and customer service. I was prompted to schedule this cleaning after seeing their spot o n a local news show - the "$99 Special" included two rooms and a hallway! Even though I have only two carpeted bedrooms, 1 very large and 1 very small, I grabbed it - feeling that $99 was still a decent price Fast forward to the end of service invoice. $145. What? The technician was indifferent to my concern so I called the office. The dispatcher was not 'rude', but a bit robotic. The price went down to $135, following tax an a $25 "residential service fee" which is just a sleezy way to upcharge. Just be forewarned, their specials aren't what they say they are. We live in Commerce, TX. We called two weeks ago and scheduled a cleaning for today. We asked twice did they service our area and did they have a trip fee. They said yes we service your area and no there is not a trip fee. I hired Zerorez to clean one small pet stain on a two week old rug. Despite it being a minor spot they insisted it needed to be cleaned in their factory at a cost of $640. After weeks of delays, excuses and dishonesty, they finally returned my rug to me and it was completely ruined during the cleaning process. They removed all of the color and created traffic lines in the rug. Their own employee that dropped the rug off at my home even said it was ruined. Since, they've refused to refund me or start the claims process for a new rug. Instead, their manager tried to blame me for the rug's condition and has been completely dishonest about what actually happened to the rug. Their manager even had the audacity to tell me I still owed the ridiculous $640 fee to clean one tiny spot if they replace my rug because I would be getting a new rug, despite the fact that they destroyed the one I already bought. My rug wasn't cleaned, it was ruined and they did not provide the service I paid for. Don't take my word for it, I put the before and after photos side by side. Left side is AFTER cleaning, right side is BEFORE cleaning. "Before" photo taken and provided by Zerorez. All I've asked is for them to do right by their customer and make me whole. I confess to having no prior experience hiring professional floor cleaners. Based on friends' recommendations, I hired Zerorez to clean carpeting and procelain tile floors. The technician arrived on time, seemed professional, and described himself as a perfectionist. After he left and after the tile floors had dried, I saw that the tile floors were newly covered with a dark film that shows every foot print and streaks where the Zerorez hoses and cords were. (Wet tile looks shiny and clean. The dry tile look awful!) The tile part of the expensive bill was a complete waste of money. Now my tile floors REALLY need to be professionally cleaned. The carpet cleaning was acceptable, except for areas that were missed. But I blame myself for two things. First, I wrongly assumed the technician would pick up a small rug on top of the carpet, and that he'd move aside some lightweight items on the living room floor. I should have better prepared the space before he arrived, and not assume anything. Second, I declined his invitation to thoroughly inspect the carpeted floors before he left. I shouldn't have been squeamish about walking on wet carpet. My bad. Lessons learned. My friends had better experiences. read more

Jacob, the technician arrived earlier than what was scheduled (they called to ask if that was OK for our schedule), and carefully went through everything we needed to have cleaned (an elderly, sick dog left some stains). He was more than happy to answer any questions I had, he worked quickly and did an AMAZING job with our carpet. Definitely recommend this company. Another upside? They are green and don't use harmful chemicals that would be dangerous to humans or our fur babies! I moved the furniture and was ready for the appointment that was scheduled for 12/9 between 10-12 only to receive a call at 8:30am that my appointment needed to be rescheduled due to the technician being sick. I stated that I needed the carpets cleaned today 12/9 because I am hosting an event on 12/10. I was informed they could not get anyone out until Tuesday 12/12. I hired this company to clean three rooms in my home because I was very interested in having a non-chemical cleaning done. Everything started off well, the appointment was made easily, and they showed up on time. I should have been tipped off to a questionable visit when I was caught majorly off guard to their VERY (in my opinion) high pricing to spot treat areas at $100/spot. If I had treated every spot in my home they "recommended", it would have been over $1200! I felt like that was incredibly overpriced, but also felt pressured to acquiesce to three of the recommended spots because they were very noticeable and I wanted them gone. I was led to believe that the basic cleaning wasn't very effective, and therefore it was necessary to take this drastic/expensive step to finally be rid of these troubled areas. I was never once warned of the possible side effects of this treatment, nor did I feel any cause for concern because it's no chemicals, how could it be ever damaging? After my initial cleaning was complete, I was concerned by how damp my carpets still were, but figured the deep cleaning measures led to the excessive wetness. I noticed two bleached out spots once they started to dry fairly quickly, and also a large dark spot (That was still really damp) where they had done one of their $100 treatments. I stepped on the dark spot with a paper towel and was disgusted by what came up. I immediately contacted Zerorez to let them know of the situation (including the fact that my sons room smelled dank and was irritating us all by the smell), and my immediate concerns with the cleaning I had paid almost $500 for. I was then told before I had any chance of a refund (because lets be honest, I was done with dealing with this company, and I was tired of having to take time out of my work day to discuss and deal with this situation) I would be required to have another visit by the operations manager/tech to see if they could repair the issues. I agreed to it, and they came out again to try and fix the issue. They were once again on time and attentive, but my biggest issue was no one wanted to take responsibility for the issue at hand - my carpets that were worse now than before their visit. They blamed their broken equipment (which they conveniently didn't disclose information about until the revisit), my normal wear/tear, and chastised me over my past usage of Resolve (which had not been used in the bleached spots previously, but they didn't notate that) because it is apparently Satan's carpet cleaner. I explained that I have had other company's out to clean these very same carpets and had none of the issues I was experiencing with them. I also felt like I had been more than accommodating to their requests/requirements, and also came to them with my issues instead of just blasting the problems across the internet, but felt like I was not being heard and instead being blamed for their negligence and faulty machinery. I now have permanently damaged carpet which I will have to get replaced, and another room with a permanent "dank" smell that will not dissipate. I have requested to just have my money refunded so I can hire another cleaning company, but they have refused, blaming me entirely for the situation. I feel as if I have been more than fair in my concerns and requests, and not unreasonable on any level. I hope whomever is reading this will think twice about trusting your home and carpets to this company because if something were to go wrong, they will assume zero percent of the responsibility. I understand that sometimes things can go wrong, and feel as if I have extended more grace than most would after an experience like this. 15 min on hold to inquire about service booked for the day, no customer service when reached - had to ask for a supervisor, texted that they would be here 8-10am & never showed. They couldn't reach their technician, 1 of the technicians that was scheduled was coming out to redo upholstery they did not do well last week. Cannot recommend and will not use again. Zerorez did a good job on the carpets but charged me $447.50 to do the tile floors. Not all of the grouting was cleaned, and there was pools of sealant here and there on the floors. When I checked my floors after they were supposed to be dry, I noticed the pools of sealant. I tried to smooth them over with a swifter op but it was already sticky. My floor is ruined. I contacted Zerorez and still haven't received a response. read more
