The carpet in my parents' house hadn't been cleaned in awhile and we were preparing their house for sale- our agent recommended Zerorez and I am extremely fortunate to have been referred to this company. From the start when I called to see about getting onto their schedule, I was impressed- I spoke to Savannah first and got a quote and asked if there was a way I could send pictures of the carpet before confirming the appointment so they could maybe see if it was beyond help / if there was anything they could do for it since it was so dirty and so old. I did email the pictures, hoping that maybe it was just a huge layer of surface dirt and nothing ground into the carpet because my parents didn't walk around all that much and weren't tracking mud in and out or whatever. There were some areas that furniture had covered and had discolored the carpet as well. Savannah called back and said she had talked with one of techs and they could absolutely make the carpet look better. I was realistic and she understood that I knew it obviously wouldn't look new or even remotely new - just way, way cleaner- so that a buyer could come in and not have to rip it out right away. I can't imagine any company being more flexible and adaptable and polite and kind to me when I was trying to schedule this carpet cleaning around the other work being done in the house and around my flight back home. Every single one of those girls with whom I spoke on the phone - Becky, Lisa, Savannah - were so nice and were absolutely amazing working with the schedule and the changes. The timeframe for finishing the interior paint kept changing - and changing again - and changing again - so I had to change the carpet cleaning date multiple times as well as my flight. The last time I had to change it was actually the day it was scheduled to happen - the painters had promised yet again that they would be out the day before - yet they were still there. And when the tech Brad called to advise that he was on his way and I told him that the painters were still there but were leaving soon, he said it would be a far better result for cleaning if we rescheduled again because his hoses would scrape the baseboards and he didn't want to stir up any dirt or dust onto fresh paint. He was also so polite about having his schedule disrupted - he just wanted to do a good job and his communication and honesty was excellent. The bad thing is, by the time I knew we needed to reschedule Monday, all of the slots to get the carpet cleaned before my flight were gone - I had rolled the dice, trusted the painters and lost. And the house was going on the market the very next week - sure my parents could have met Brad and paid for the cleaning and locked up afterward and all, but I really wanted to see this through for them and finish it up. Somehow, this team literally bent over backwards and worked us in for Wednesday so I could bump my flight back another day and fly home on Thanksgiving. Brad is very energetic and very enthusiastic about the Zerorez system of cleaning - he took time to explain the difference compared to ordinary cleaning methods - the truck-mounted steam / cleaning equipment is impressive and it was obvious that Brad has years of experience using it. He took extra time to protect the corners of the walls with heavy plastic bumpers and took extra time cleaning some spots that were more heavily trafficked and where my parents' feet used to land in front of their recliners- that was obvious- and when he was finished, you couldn't tell the difference in those areas compared to the rest of the carpet ! My parents and I were absolutely thrilled with the way the carpet looked after Brad finished. They said in all of the times they've had carpet cleaned, it has never been this clean- and I will have to take their word for it because we have never had to hire carpet cleaners - we have tile and hardwood. Brad left some special booties for us to use to cover our shoes while we were finishing up cleaning and doing other work in the house. He said if we noticed any spots that appeared after the carpet dried, to call them and he would come right back out and make it right - there is a 30 day guarantee. The house was listed the week after and we got multiple offers the same night as it started showing. And I don't know if we would have even gotten one buyer with the carpet looking like it did before Zerorez came out- it was super bad and the appearance of the carpet would've raised questions about the way the rest of the house was maintained. Major appreciation and a million thanks to Becky, Lisa and Savannah for being so friendly and understanding and flexible and kind to me all of those times we talked - and for working us into Brad's schedule when they did so I could tuck this in for my parents- and to Brad for being so cool and sweet about having to reschedule on the fly that afternoon. read more

I called Zerorez for an appointment. Very professional scheduling an accommodated me with a next day appointment. Kevin called me notifying me he was on his way 15 minutes prior to the appointment time. Very timely and professional on the phone. The appointment was between 0830 and 0930 and he call me at 0820 to let me know he wore there in 15 minutes, awesome! Kevin arrived and surveyed what needed to be done and explain to me the process and how he would do things. He was very professional and clean in appearance. Easy to find a carpet cleaner, hard to find a truly good one. Our tech, Tanner, called ahead, arrived promptly, and then thoroughly examined our carpets. After explaining everything he would be doing, he asked about an Oriental area rug that I'd bought at an estate sale and didn't know was Oriental. We found the label, established that it was a much higher quality than I had believed, and he gave me a video to watch on their cleaning process while he got started on pre-treating the bedrooms and stairs. We recently used them during a move out. The technician did show up during the expected window. We were moving out of our house that day as well. Our moving company by the time the technician arrived had not only cleared the carpeted rooms But also had 98% of the house cleared except for the driveway as the movers were still inventorying our house hold goods. Our movers also stated they would not use the front door so the technician would have uninterrupted access the our home. The technician refused to park in the street behind the moving truck instead of the driveway and refused to work with others also working at the home. He then left stating it was not going to work and that it was our problem to reschedule. I then immediately called the manager to find out what we could do. He did get the technician to return at around 5:30 and was at our home till 7pm (The technician had misrepresented the condition of the move to his manager) . At no time did the manager or technician apologize for his rude attitude toward us. Moves are always complicated, and a move during COVID has an especially short window to complete work on time. Had the manager not forced him to return, we would have to turn the property over to tenants not cleaned, as required in our contract. The technician made NO effort accommodate or offer a solution, simply stated he was unwilling to complete the work. read more
