May 13, 2021 I followed the recommendations from this thread and called Caliente. I called them in the morning and was excited because we were given a same day appointment! They were supposed to come between 6-8 pm. My excitement was short lived because there was a no show, no call. I had to reach out to them and was told technicians were too busy. I initially disclosed to them that I was getting a second quote/opinion. I knew coil in A/C was leaking and needed a new one. I got the distinct feeling this was not going to generate a good amount of income for them so I got tossed aside. As an owner of multiple properties, I am looking for a company who would be my preferred vendor which would provide honorable and reliable service to my home and my other rental houses. If you want a professional plumber to show up, understand the problem, fix it, and then charge a reasonable fee, then you should find someone else. Calinente will expect you to diagnose your own problem and then try to sell you multiple services that you don't need at inflated prices. Don't be a sucker. Do business with someone else. read more

Our water heater was leaking. Called Caliente and they were out the next day. Initially could not find the problem, but scheduled to come back in a week. They make a couple of repairs when they returned the following week, but another week later, the water heater was leaking again. They came out and assessed the problem and decided that a replacement was necessary. Came back the next day and swapped out the water heater. All of this was covered under warranty. Very happy with Caliente Plumbing Heating and Air, and highly recommend them. read more

Today we had service for a water softener leak outside. When I called; we got a quick appointment & were kept up to date on our repair technicians arrival. He was not only courteous ; he was on time. Our repair man was Jeremy Bogue. He explained everything about the repair. When Jeremy was done with repairs, he took the time to actually rollup and put out water hose on our hook & close the yard gate. That means alot to us because he didn't have to do. It shows he didn't "just do a job" and left. We've had work done by others & left a mess! Very pleased with the company and Jeremy. Caliente installed a unit in my home 3 1/2 years ago. 1 month ago a plumber informed me the systems valve was not on and not sending treated water to the house. Since the install it never sent any treated water to any parts of the house. All the fixtures, dish washer and clothes washer have a lot of mineral build up. 2 weeks after the install we contacted the owner Rick with concerns from tarnished silver ware in the dishwasher. Rick the owners advice was to change the dishwasher detergent. The owner did not care to check our system and this 3 1/2 year waste of softener system could have been avoided. I have contacted their office for weeks and no one has bothered to call me back. I even sent an email and called the owner Rick directly and they wont make the time to call me back. Do not trust this company and especially the owner Rick. If you need a company that will call you back or check on any concerns you have, do not contract caliente. read more

Prompt, ready to install our water heater (that was not working) and water softener. Even drove back to the office to get a missing part so we could have hot water and soft water the same day. Pricing and warranty were very competitive, within a few dollars of an estimate we were given by another company and with a longer warranty on parts and service. Ryan was very professional and knowledgeable. He was very willing to answer all my questions and explain the why behind his answer, not just a simple yes/no.
