Even with all that, Cyrus stuck to his original quote and never tried to charge us more, which we really appreciated. Jaime and Jesus handled the installation of the air handler, ductwork, and heat pump. They worked hard, were very respectful of our home, kept things clean, and honestly were much quieter doing the work than I expected considering all the cutting and installation involved. I asked what happened to the appointment I already booked, and they admitted they had been straight-up lying to me when they told me it was booked - even though I had confirmed it with them multiple times. They said it's their policy to book appointments, giving a specific time and date, and confirm the appointment with the customer, and only after that check if they actually have a tech available. And then for some reason, not bother telling the customer if there's an issue with the appointment they booked. If they had told me from the beginning it would be 2 months, I would have gone with another company. Instead, I spent 3 weeks in miserable heat with a malfunctioning AC. I just don't understand why they would lie to customers, and say they booked an appointment when they didn't really book it.

Ron, however, not only picked up the phone, he was friendly and patient and suggested a few fixes over the phone to see if it'll get the unit running (it did, for a few days). He even called back a few days later to check to see how things are going, and that afternoon the AC crapped out again. They are busy also and booked out for a few days, but Tyler was able to come by and fix the frozen coil before the second heat wave hit. He and his team arrived on time and checked the unit from the outside to the attic and found that there was a small leak. Throughout the visit, Tyler was very good communicating what they are looking for and the issue that they've found and the repair required. They made the fix quickly, added freon, and double check to make sure everything is running efficiently with no leaks. Our AC has been running great since, thanks Ron & Tyler!
