My teen girls and I discovered Ziggi's a few months ago and we are hooked! Best Mocha anywhere!

After lunch decided to stop and get a coffee for our drive back to Denver. When coming in, very busy inside letting us know we picked a good place to get coffee. Service was good, and coffee served on saucers since we were staying to enjoy our drinks. We like the atmosphere, warm and comfortable. We enjoyed our coffee and free WiFi. It's a chain. Not a very good one. They pride themselves on sugary beverages. Sickening sweet, artificial flavors, abnormal for any standards, truthfully disgusting. If you choose to go here, just order a plain black coffee. Staff is Unknowledgeable, but that's just bc they mostly hire HS kids. Friendly, yet inexperienced. So I'll give you some insight on their products: Chai tea is artificial. There's no tea. It's like a premix box of sugar and condensed milk. Actually. All there drinks are like this. Even when you ask and request nothing sweet please! Again, goes on corporate chain America, just going thru the motions without thought to health, education, or pride in craftsmanship. Moral of the story: Visit the many other Café s in town that will provide a quality service with quality ingredients. read more

I've been here a few times and the service is always friendly. I often bring my kids or their Girl Scout troops here and they're always so nice to them. Great location in the heart of Downtown Longmont , the corner location seems to just draw you in, ample on street parking and public parking behind. The interior is spacious with varied table uses and large windows bringing in the streetscape. The menu and drink menu is current and the baked goods are varied. We ordered a large mocha with whip Creme and a Large Blueberry Sconce and a Hott green tea. Here's the thing, why do have a job in customer service? Literally, there are som many other jobs out there right now, so dude? get a different one! Ok I get that everyone has a bad day and may be a little grumpy here and there but this server/barista (curly almost shoulder length brown hair with gage holes in his ears) was such a downer and a massive buzz kill with his impatient approach to a moment of hesitation while I stood there for less than a minute with my daughter figuring out which tea to choose., he literally rolled his eyes at us! And before you get on me, there was zero line, ZERO!! Nobody' was behind us at all!!!! I just moved here and have been visiting local coffee shops to see which might be on my regular rounds, well folks, it ain't this place!! Way to kill a Sunday morning vibe barista person! We sat inside trying to enjoy the tea and forget about the hostile service, as we watched him greeted three more customers over the next half hour all of them men, and all of them served with a warm approach and a smile. Hmmmmm maybe it was just two women he wasn't psyched about? Either way? I might give this place one more try but it won't be on my top list that's for sure. I am more of a once a week coffee drinker but the crew here always remember what I like and present if with a smile and conversation. This place needs a serious deep cleaning. I visited this place and Sat by the window. The windowsill was caked in debris most disgustingly fingernail clippings. The place clearly hasn't been cleaned very well in a long time. Aside from that, the coffee is okay customer service is decent. read more

A charming coffee shop in the main shopping district of downtown Longmont. I have come here for many reasons from grabbing a cup of coffee to go or for a team meeting on a Monday morning to finishing up medical school application essays. Ziggi's is an ideal coffee shop where you can get some serious work done or catch up with friends. The coffee is always strong and they have a great variety of tea options as well. I have definitely spent too much money here but the ambiance and great coffee always makes it worth it ! read more

This is a great little cozy shop! It was my first time here and everyone was super nice. I had my little dog with me, so i asked my friend to go in before me and ask if it was okay for me to go in with him. They said yes! It was just for the few minutes it took for me to order my drink and food. Plus i was carrying him. I appreciated that! So after our order which was done super quick we sat outside and enjoyed our coffees and Blake (my pomchi) enjoyed his 50 cent cup of whipped cream lol. Although Starbucks gives whipped cream for free, i didn't mind paying the 50 cents. I ordered the iced caramel macchiato and it was DELICIOUS! Not too sweet and perfect coffee , sweetness, and whipped cream ratio! That little coffee chocolate bean they put on your coffee is delicious and a nice touch. I've only eaten a warmed buttered croissant , and well you can't go wrong with that! Overall i loved it and the experience and most importantly the coffee! Will come back soon! read more

Ziggi's is OK. In a town with a SBUX on almost every corner (I know, that could be anywhere); Ziggi's is always crowded. Coffee is good and the service is friendly and happy. Parking is nearby and free (LOVE that, Longmont!) It's a nice atmosphere in a nicely restored old building. I have to resolve to go more often in 2012. read more

This was one of the most Sci-Fi experiences I have ever had. I lived in Wrongmont aka Dongmont aka Bongmont aka Longmont with my mom for a little bit when I first moved to Colorado. My mom and I would carpool to Denver everyday to work. One of our running jokes was the the coffee shop on Main Street...GIZZIS. Come on people, get your mind out of the gutter...or don't. That was the joke. Pretty much everyone in town had a laugh. We loved that one of the local coffee houses was called...GIZZIS! And we went in droves to patron the hilarious little shop. And then, my mom and I were coming home from a long Denver commute one evening and just like that, with no fanfare, GIZZIS was now ZIGGIS. huh? A HUGE SIGN, the same sign as before, NOW READS ZIGGIS. Our discount cards and a coffee mug that my mom had had the foresight to buy are the only sign that ZIGGIS was once our beloved GIZZIS. So I guess the joke's on us? Typical coffee house beverage and snacks fill this house. Nice atmosphere, pleasant people. Have one at Ziggis but please be vocal and ask why the name change...see if I'm making it up. This is Longmont's little gem. I have been going here since it opened, and when I worked at the Best Buy in Longmont during college I would stop by every. single. time I had to work. Now that I don't live in Longmont I make sure to stop in whenever I happen to be in the area visiting my Mom, I really miss it! My mom even got my sister and I gift cards here, when we live in Denver, because she knows we love it so much. It's a cute coffee shop in the heart of "downtown" Longmont that is great for studying (so says my medical student sister) or just getting a quick coffee. I usually get the butterfinger frozen drink with no whipped cream. It satisfies my sweet tooth and gives me that caffeine buzz I'm addicted to. I love seeing that Ziggi's is growing. I am like a proud mama. Something I knew when it was brand new and now it's popping up all over the front range. I wish continued success for the friendly owners who I remember would always be working right there with the baristas. Go Ziggis! read more

Cute little place, no drive through which is ok because I knew that. I ran in to get a simple coffee to go. Drip coffee, hazelnut! Yesss! I love flavored coffees! Barista was really nice and my service was with a smile! I left took a drink & it was good. Went to the dog park all good. Almost finished with my to-go cup and....Guess what, my last few sips I was chewing coffee grounds. I was all geared up to give them a 5 Star, but since there were a considerable amount of coffee grounds in the bottom I had to knock it back to a 3 star...bummer. read more

My impression of ziggi's upon my first visit can best be described as... quite eccentric. Not in a bad way of course, but just an experience that kept sparking my attention. Firstly, it's very bustling for a place with very limited parking. The entire time I was sipping my coffee, people were circulating in and out and the atmosphere breathed a lot of energetic life. I ordered the almond joy in blended form upon scouring through some yelp reviews for recommendation. My friend ordered a mocha frappucino. Our collective impression was that the beverages were perhaps overwhelmingly sweet, with little to no noticeable coffee flavor. Maybe if I went in without the expectation that I was getting coffee and instead looked forward to a drinkable dessert then I'd say that the drinks fit the bill. But for the coffee enthusiast or those who lack the sweet tooth that I have, then I recommend shying away from these specialized drinks. My almond joy had a very distinct coconut flavor. But even I couldn't finish off my 12 oz because I felt the brink of a sugar coma coming on. We also split a donut, which was decent but not noteworthy. Prettier than gustatorily sensational. Outside the foods, my initial observation of my surroundings was that ziggi's was a visually pleasing joint in a kind of unconventional way. I love me some interesting local artwork on the walls. A lot of natural lighting, which was lovely. The decor was a lot of mismatched furniture that don't belong, but somehow go together. What was truly fascinating was the people watching! I'm not a frequenter of the Longmont area, but it seemed like ziggi's was placed on a very colorful and eccentric street similar to pearl street in vibe if you've ever been there. I'll definitely be returning... If not for the atmosphere, then to try more of the menu because some sweet old lady gave me a gift card there for no apparent reason (evidence of the unique people buzzing around ziggi's!). read more

I'm giving a low rating to Ziggi's drive thru on S. Main St. not because their products are not good or that they have poor service but because they now directly ask customers if they want to leave a tip. I get that there is COVID and there are precautions to take when it comes to letting the customer swipe the cc machine, but they are taking the card that you've been holding and swiping it themselves which seems just as risky. Other drive thru coffee businesses in town don't ask if you want to leave a tip, just Ziggi's and it's in bad taste to ask, it leaves more than just me uncomfortable I'm learning. Coffee drinks are on the expensive side anyway and I feel like there are many times when I don't want to leave a tip or can't afford to that day. No one is forcing me, I get that, but still asking a customer directly is tacky, you should leave it to our discretion. read more

I hate to be the sole party pooper in the review section for Ziggi's but... Hubby and I went for the first (and only) time the other day and were not impressed with the giggly teenage girls working the counter who could not tell us what was good to order (other than hot chocolate) and who acted like I was an idiot when I asked if I got something that I hated if I could switch for something else. I ordered the raspberry something or other and it was only "ok". The coffee tasted burnt. The atmosphere was ok, but not super impressive in my book. Location is great, right in downtown Longmont, but unfortunately I won't be patronizing again. read more

Ziggi's is an okay coffeehouse. The folks who own it seem super nice, and the space is great. Love the exposed brick walls and high ceilings. Great downtown location. But there are two reasons (worth a star a piece) as to why I am a Caffe Luna girl: 1) Ziggi's coffee is weak. It is Coda, which is supposed to be good, but I guess they just don't brew it strong enough. Do not order the medium roast (unless you don't, you know, like coffee). You've got to order the dark roast. 2) The music. Good god, it is bad. Schmaltzy adult contempo crap, loud enough that you can't ignore it. Still Ziggi's is quite popular and there is always a healthy number of people working away (free hi-fi) and socializing. (Apparently those folks don't despise Richard Marx and Celine Dion quite as much as I do.) read more

Cute coffee shop with local art! I had the honey red chai, which was the perfect combination of bright sunny notes and warm creamy deliciousness to stave off the snowy cold. I ordered an everything bagel which came from a local Baker. It was perfectly toasted. Cream cheese came in a packet to spread myself. The baristas were a bit distracted in chatting amongst themselves, but they managed the crowd well and there was no wait for my drinks. read more

It was my first time trying a Ziggi's after living in Boulder for a few years but never making it up here to one. I got a blueberry pomegranate smoothie which had great flavor! The woman at the counter was helpful when I asked what ingredients there were; I hate when coffee shops add ice cream or fro yo-type bases and these do not! However, the reason I cannot give this place a better review is because of the environment. There's currently a heat wave in Colorado, and the outside temperature was 97. I sat at a high top table with an outlet right next to it to charge my phone, and it happened to be the same outlet the thermostat was also plugged into. When I first sat down, it read 79. Not terrible, but still didn't feel air conditioned. By the time I left 50 minutes later, it read 85! It seemed as if they had AC but chose not to run it. It was unfortunate, as I was looking forward to spending over an hour there working, but I was simply too uncomfortable to enjoy it. My smoothie was "sweating" and leaking condensation all over my table because it was so hot inside :( read more

I have three favorite coffee places...Starbucks on Pace, Winot in Niwot, and Ziggi's. I go here mostly to have a latte while my son learns bass guitar at Guitars, Etc., which is just up the block. I also stop in sometimes when I go to the Library and/or the Used Book Emporium, both within a short walk of Ziggi's. The lattes are good, the large cookies tasty, the gelatos tempting, the ambience low key and pleasant, the baristas funny and funky and not at all corporate, and the couches comfy. My only gripe is that they just put in a TV--can we never escape from the ubiquitous CNN? Really, a perfect little spot in old town Longmont, and the brick inside and out gives it a nice warm feeling. I'm updating this review and awarding one more star because the great folks at Ziggis are donating all proceeds from sales this Thanksgiving (they'll be open from 8 am to noon) to OUR Center. I'm blown away by their generosity! read more

Owner doesn't care one bit about customer service. Quite the opposite. Greed fuels their cups. The owner is as bitter as the coffee he serves. I won't be supporting this 'local' over-priced sellout. Ok, free wireless, good coffee and tasty snacks. About 80-90% of the patrons in here are taking advantage of the free wireless internet access. I'll review the wireless - it's great! We stopped at Ziggy's this morning and I got just a regular cup of coffee. I found it to be really weak and not very flavorful. I was really disappointed. I can get a more flavorful cup of coffee at Ace Hardware for FREE! For their regular coffee they get one star. The rest of the stars are for ambience.
