We have passed this location every time we drive to or from Boulder to DIA via the Northwest Parkway. We usually do not have time to stop in either direction if the flight is our own. Today, we were dropping off some houseguests at the airport die we stopped for coffees and pastries on the way back to Boulder. Note that this is a store with a drive thru and we prefer to eat inside. We ordered via mobile with our personal cups to save paper refuse, on the way there, about a mile or two from the location. The drinks were ready and hot when we arrived. My husband's pastry had been warmed but mine was not, though had been ordered for "warmed." The inside was quite cold though the surface was room temperature. As it it has a drive through, staff were wearing head phones and chatting with each other so I did not bother to try to get their attention and just ate mine cold. This is a typical situation for drive thru stores I've found when I travel. We have no drive thru stores in Boulder so in my daily local store, it's all about inside contact and friendliness, the classic Starbucks coffee shop. One of the best Starbucks locations around. The staff here are always so friendly and on top of their stuff. I live nearby and usually put in a mobile order. Everything is always prepared accurately and ready in the time it's posted. They have a drive thru that I've only seen slightly backed up once in the last year. 10/10 for service and quality. read more

Not bad. A bit bummed that this location closes at 7PM in hoidy toidy Broomfield, but it works for me when you to make the 30 minute drive into DIA to catch a flight home. The location is super close to car dealerships such as Audi Flatirons, so I'm able to pop on here and walk back to the dealer whenever my car is being worked on. This location seems to be super new. Employees are friendly, and the interior design conveys an impression of being roomy, and with plenty of seating. Another benefit is that its about 8.5 miles away from the University of Colorado. For visitors, I'd stop at this Starbucks location first rather than chance it off of Highway 36 heading into Boulder. read more

I hit this Starbucks probably 2-3 times a week and they are always great. They are friendly, so quick even when the line is long and I don't think they've ever gotten my order wrong. Today though, they went above and beyond. Specifically, shouting out a GREAT JOB to Eric. When ordering at the drive thru, I asked what he thought about the new Pistachio Latte. He was honest and said it wasn't his fave. I thanked him for the honest feedback and got my "usual" order. Upon pulling up at the window, the employee said Eric had the barista make me a little shorty taster so I could try it myself. How thoughtful! She mentioned she was glad I got to taste it because she really liked the Pistachio Latte. I thought the drink was great but was particularly impressed today by the service. Closest Starbucks to where I live. I love the fact that they have a drive thru. I usually have a cup of coffee at home but ran out of coffee and decided to l grab a cup before I made my way to school. Excellent service, the gentleman taking my order was very attentive and friendly. I wanted a dark roast coffee but I found out that they don't serve dark roast after 10 AM. He recommended a regular coffee and it wasn't bad at all. There was a single car in front of me and ordered a lot but I noticed that that their service was pretty fast because we both didn't have to wait at all. The staff at this Starbucks is on point! They are so consistently friendly. The staff always goes above and beyond and makes an effort to know repeat customers like a local coffee shop would. Pre-COVID they would come around randomly w samples which I never experienced at any other Starbucks unless it during a really long line and they were trying to appease hangry customers. read more

Just sat in the drive up for 40 min at this newer Starbucks (no exit available) with 6 cars in line. This Starbucks needs to get it together. I was super late for work. And after all that my drink was cold...‍. Will be going back to my other Starbucks in the area from now on as it has been very slow like this since I started coming here a few weeks ago. Starbucks on Northwest Parkway and Via Varra has always provided excellent and fast service. It is well staffed; well trained; and friendly no matter how busy it gets! The Manager Erik is open, hard working and a nice guy. Erik regularly cleans; takes orders; takes care of customers; occasionally does computer work, and seamlessly manages all elements of the store. This Starbucks also supports local schools & charities. (By contrast, many other post pandemic businesses are underperforming with skeleton crews.) The Northwest Parkway & Via Varra Starbucks is thriving! They serve breakfast, lunch, and treats to locals; commuters; and nearby hotel guests with the same expedient quality service and friendliness. Erik's skills for leadership and management ought to be studied and applied elsewhere. He's led a great establishment since it opened with effectiveness & panache. read more

The good thing about this place is the service is fast and the employees are nice. The bad thing is they can't follow instructions on your order, or refuse to, not sure. I come here every single day, since it's on the way to work. I ask everyday to stir my coffee because who wants to pay for bitter coffee till the end of the cup and then have to throw it away because all the ingredients are at the bottom? It's absolutely stupid, how am I going to stir my coffee in the car? I ask for this to be done every day and it NEVER gets done even after I call them out on it. What is the problem with this place? You will also order things like extra caramel and pay for it, yet it's the exact same amount. I have more than once gotten a response from the employee laughing while they take my order, after I ask to stir the coffee. If you think it's funny to never get a tip from me, ever, then keep laughing. read more
