Good fast service Clean and quiet I just got a smoothie tho I'll be back for lunch and probably a fresh juice. Definitely more of the California vibe in here I like it

Delicious Mediterranean food ordered at the counter for quick service. The salads have just the right amount of tangy dressing & ample portions- even with side salads. I highly recommend the Greek, the Fattoush and the junk salad. The pita chips on the fattoush are delicate & crisp. I come for the healthy salads with meat add on options. That said- dessert, beer & wine are available. The brownie is my personal favorite. Food is served in compostable bowls with silverware available, which I appreciate. Ground floor, loft & outdoor seating available. Casual atmosphere, Clean floors & soft lighting. Tables seat groups of people & there are seats looking out the front window, which are solo dining friendly. It's at Cricket West, which has a nice parking lot

I like this Zingo's! It's a nice fast casual restaurant focusing on Mediterranean food. The gyro comes with pita chips. I also like their hummus as well. Prices are fair They have WiFi so that's nice and a good seating area. The drinks are self-serve so you can take care of yourself.

"junk" salad = really really good

Wonderfully seasoned, reasonably priced, locally owned, regionally inspired, fast casual food that takes just a little bit longer than expected, but is totally worth the wait. Highly recommended for lunch if you're in West Toledo and looking for something healthy AND delicious.

    Mediterranean Junk Salad - excellent

You like Zingo's Mediterranean in Perrysburg, but you hate driving out to candy-ass "P-Burg?" Yeah, me too. Well, now you can come here instead! Not that this neighborhood is rock-hard or anything, but at least THIS incarnation of Zingo's, located on the backside of Cricket West, is in Toledo. Pretty much everything about this Zingo's is the same, or better, than the other store. The location is better. The menu/food is (essentially) the same. The service is the same. The atmosphere? Different but equivalent. The beverages in this store are superior, primarily because a small section of beer is available in this location. If you want to split hairs, there are obviously some differences between the two Zingo locations, but in general, don't plan on rejecting the null hypothesis. Best thing here? The Mediterranean Junk Salad. It's that high protein, low carb, moderate fat meal that your guns are screaming for, and that your waistline needs. The gyro is great, too. Overall, Zingo's is a great addition to the neighborhood.

    Super salad

First Bria took my order. I added all kinds of things to my already overloaded salad. She got the order perfect and was smiling the whole time. Her shift ended while my sister and I was eating. From there Kenzie, and Hailee took over. They brought us beers, and was extremely pleasant the whole time. The food was incredibly fresh and delicious.

This was my first time here and it will not be the last!…read more The cauliflower was amazing, the hummus was delicious, and the falafel (first time I've ever tried it) was incredible! I could've had my whole meal be just the appetizers and I would've been happy. The dinner came out and the rice was seasoned and tasted awesome! The chicken and lamb chops were *chef's kiss*. My favorite (aside from the falafel) was the Kafta. It's the first time I had it and my taste buds were blown away. Of course we had to end the meal with dessert (not much room left but we made it work) and the tuxedo mousse cake was made with so much love you could taste it in every bite. Not only was the food AMAZING, the staff were extremely friendly, they took the time to learn our names, very attentive, and made the whole experience that much better. The location is great and the entire vibe of the restaurant was relaxing. I will definitely be coming back very soon!

Took a random detour to Ameeras between Michigan and Dayton. Here's our take!!…read more Service: awesome. Nick treats you like family. He even called me his cousin. Lol Food: Hummus - delicious taste, a bit thinner than other hummus we've had. But, when that homemade hot sauce is added I forgot my own name it was THAT good. Kibbie: well seasoned meat, the breading(?) was superb. It was not super crunchy. The breading element also individual bite was stellar! You guessed it, we dipped that baby in the hot sauce and the yogurt sauce. The appetizers were so good, we let Nick pick the entrees. I am pretty sure he gave us the chicken and beef sish kabobs. Chickens came with the garlic aoili type of dip (sauce?) on the side. You know I'm going to say it was amazing and delicious. Beef: this man cooked those tenderloin pieces better than MOST steakhouses. It was a perfect medium rare. You guessed it - it was delicious. Desserts (for take out lol) chocolate cake and grandmas rice pudding. Rice pudding: thick and creamy, not too sweet. Personally, think a few golden raisins would be fantastic in there. This doesn't seem to be in the menu. Maybe it's a special thing. Chocolate cake: this was the thing that slightly disappointed us. The taste was ok but it was dry. Now, he told us his cousin in Cleveland makes them for him. So it isn't like he can get a fresh one outta the kitchen everyday. So, I'd take one a bit on the drier side and have a milk chaser than commercial garbage. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor, stop in to see Nick. Tell him cousin Kerri from Dayton sent you. See ya next time cousin Nick!!

The menu goes beyond the basic…read moreshawarma/hummus/falafel things to include offerings like braised lamb shanks, yogurt kibbe, a huge selection of meat and cheese pies, besides a number of "Americanized" choices. The chicken shawarma is excellent, nicely seared but still juicy. Salads have been very good, with strongly (but not too strongly) lemony dressings, Falafels are crisp on the outside, a little soggier than I'd like on the inside--not that that stopped me from scarfing them down! Hummus is about as good as you'll find. Good as the food is, the service can be a bit slow. The market side is small, doesn't have a huge selection, but still a solid representation of mediterranean cooking basics (and seriously...just how many brands of tahini do you need???). And it's clean! A very economical olive bar and well-stocked meat case are musts for a visit here. In the latter, you'll find a little bit of beef, a little bit of chicken, a little bit of goat, but a whole lotta lamb, everything from tongues to trotters, at far below supermarket prices. While I like to sample a variety of places, Muna is taking away my incentive to explore other middle eastern restaurants in Toledo. It's a pleasant rut to be stuck in.
