Pains me to write this review as I've been a customer for over 20 years and typically have nothing…read morebut good things to say, and they have helped me out of many jams. They have even fixed minor problems, and refused any sort of payment multiple times. My car battery tested unusually low during my inspection, I was asked to come back to double check as it was extremely cold that day. I stopped by a couple weeks later. They are too booked to do, it. Isabella tells me to bring it back Thursday morning. Bring the car back Thursday morning. Patrick clearly annoyed with the fact I was in the shop. Not sure if I wasn't put on the schedule appropriately, or just having a personal bad day. Car battery gets checked. Patrick has battery tested "it's at 56% you're good to go." I inquire if that is normal for a battery I believed to only be a year old? "Yeah new batteries can test as low as 80% in this weather, so 56-80% is acceptable." This was said in front of a full waiting room. I inquire with friends more mechanically inclined than me. I am informed yes l, weather will affect the test but, that's testing at a 2 year old charge. Patrick couldn't be bothered to look up as to when the battery was replaced for me to confirm the date. Didn't discuss how the warranty would be determined. A 24% margin of error seems pretty high for a determining factor on a warranty. Didn't tell me what determines an under performing battery, and what would qualify for replacement. Nor tell me when the warranty expires, to potentially bring it back in warmer weather to test again, before the warranty is null. Very disappointed, this is not reflective of brand and service I have become accustomed to, glad they have a second location. I will be avoiding the Transit location.

OMG...Scruggs on transit I love this place... They are so honest.. they don't try to sell you…read moresomething you don't need. I first went to them when one of the car dealerships said that the computer on my car needed to be replaced.. NOw any other place you would go would say oh yea you need that.. 2 hours after I dropped my car off I received a call from Scruggs telling my car was ready.. Said that I only needed an inspection and a new battery... nothing wrong w/ the car.. then i took my newer car to Scruggs on transit for an oil change.. i get a call back that i needed a lot of work done.. head gasket etc.. something you would think that the dealership would've taken care of...once i received the cost i was ready to cry.. they offered me a 3rd party lender.. YAYYYY!! that was awesome.. the people there are the greatest..Henry, Patrick, Carmine (he did the work on my car), Isabella.. I was treated like one of the family.. i will be going there anytime i need to have something done on the car.. you should go too.... THEY ARE THE BEST!! SO MUCH BETTER THAN THE REST!!

Generally, paying at the pump or carwash by credit card works well. I go out of my way to avoid it…read morebased on the staff/service over the past decade, but do go several times per year. Today, it was sunny, I decided to stop for an express wash. I did not buy gas. The machine accepted my money, said to wait for wash to be available. Later the door opened, a car was in there, backing up, then forward, and the driver was waving their hand out the window, but then the door closed again. The front door was already closed. The machine no longer said to wait my turn, it said to pay for a wash. I parked my car by the store, in case the driver inside could not pull out forward after their second (my) wash was done, I didn't want to block their ability to reverse out of the wash. I went in and explained the details, and asked for the wash I paid for. The young lady and older man, both explained to me how a car wash works, then told me I need to wait for my turn, they told me to drive back to the car wash, which I did. I thought they would enter a code to let me get the express wash I paid for after seeing for themselves that it wasn't telling me to wait my turn. Instead the lady asked if I had a receipt & shrugged and told me I could pay again for a wash. i left without a wash, and now I have to dispute the charge with my credit card company, but not until the original charge clears, as it's still a hold on my card. I can take cashiers who seem irritated to work or are sometimes rude once In a while to buy my kids a treat, but for them not to give me the service or my money back is plain stealing. idk whether the door malfunctioned, the driver in front was daydreaming and missed their chance, or something else, but the workers (i think the owner) were unwilling to resolve the problem, just told me to leave and go back to wash, then once there told me told me to pay again.
