If you do rent the dry bib, be prepared to hike in it for about a mile to the Narrows. We also hiked from our parking spot.

Shout out to Zion Guru for their excellent service, good equipment, and well-run system! We rented the dry bib package on Memorial Day weekend. Knew the place was going to be packed so we went a day early and were able to pick up our equipment by 2pm the day before. (Side note: if you rent the dry bibs, be prepared for serious self-doubt when you stand in line for the shuttle and see hundreds of people around you without bibs. Take heart, the water is very cold even at this time of year, and people without bibs usually can't go as far or as deep in the water, so you'll be glad you have the bibs, although I kinda missed being able to feel the water on my legs! Also whether or not you need the bib depends on the time of day you plan to go. We got to Zion early in the morning, and made it to the Narrows around 10:30, so it was still kind of cool. By the time we came back, it was 2pm and the sun was hot so I could imagine not needing a bib then!) Pickup was pretty fast, after we signed in we were able to get our equipment right away and tried them out for size. My husband exchanged his shoes for a larger pair but I'd say they were pretty spot on with sizing for the rest of us! We were in and out the door in less than 30 mins. After returning the bibs, I realized that I might have left my sunglasses in one of the inside pockets, so I called them to check. Even though they were handling a crowd at the time, somebody (Michelle) still picked up the phone and went to check for me, and called me back to tell me what they found (which weren't my glasses), for which I was incredibly grateful. In the end I found the glasses in my car. Thank you Zion Guru for being such a stellar company that provides impeccable service and a memorable experience all around.

We had a great experience with Zion Guru E bikes and the Narrows equipment rental. Heard about them through a travel forum. Super easy to work with, you can reserve everything you need online ahead of time. Very easy to communicate with as well. They were very friendly, and always offering to help you navigate the park, etc. 100% would give them my business again. They have kids sizes for everything, including Narrows footwear.

We rented Narrows hiking gear and e-bikes from this place. The customer service was great--we originally reserved the Narrows gear for a day that ended up having a high flash flood warning, and the employees switched our reservation date at no cost when we asked. Pick up and drop off of gear was super easy. The e-bikes that we rented were in good repair, but only have one gear so you cant shift up and down to adjust the difficulty level--you can only adjust the pedal assist level.

Review in one word: INCREDIBLE! My wife and I rented e-bikes for ourselves and our 3 sons to explore Zion. While it cost a fair chunk of money, it was worth every penny. The memories we made would have been unimaginable had we taken the Zion shuttle instead of e-bikes. The bikes provided by Zion Guru were top quality, in great working order and included convenient cargo baskets and comfortable helmets. Conveniently located less than a mile from Zion National Park entrance, we were able to travel around more than 25 miles of the park with the wind in our face and unobstructed views of the natural beauty. Very satisfied, and we would absolutely rent from them again.

If there's one tip you need when visiting Zion National Park, it's this: rent an e-bike for the full day. Absolute game changer. This shop had excellent customer service and high-quality rentals, plus an impressive selection of helmets in different sizes and colors. Pricing was around $90 for a full-day adult bike, which felt fair for what you get. The employee explained that the battery lasts about 30 miles, includes a headlight for after dark, and has five speed settings. One important tip: turn your speed setting back down when you stop, otherwise you'll jolt forward when you start again (learned that quickly ). For reference, the canyon ride is about 9 miles one way, and we only used one battery notch total for the ride there and back. The bikes are a little heavy at first, but once you get the hang of it, cruising down the canyon on an almost empty road is honestly so much fun. A few helpful tips they shared: - If there aren't bike racks available, you can chain your bikes together - Watch the safety video -- it's actually useful - Check your brake angle before heading out; they can adjust it for you - There are bike tool stations inside the canyon if needed - The seats can get a bit uncomfortable after a few hours, so plan accordingly The shop is about 1.5 miles from the park entrance. There are closer rental options, but this one stood out for its bike quality, helmets, and service, so I'd still highly recommend it. For a full-day rental, you can request early pickup, and returns are due before 7 pm (as of December 2025). Overall, renting an e-bike made our Zion experience unforgettable -- 10/10 would do it again.

Zion is a beautiful national park that everyone should go to, but if we're being honest, you NEED to rent from here. Everything was super easy and the staff were very helpful. We opted for the Narrows gear with boots, socks and a stick which was honestly all we needed as we brought our own dry bag. But they did have a lot more options if you needed them. The real winner was the ebike rental though. It is a little pricey but riding through the park on the bikes was a top-tier experience. Words don't really do it justice but if you find yourself in Zion, do yourself a favor and try to rent from here!

My girls group rented from Zion Guru after learning that their waterproof bib and neoprene socks are all once piece - connected so in theory you won't get wet. We found the bib and shoes were all clean and comfortable. I have wide feet and the shoes still fit very well and didn't cause any pain throughout our hike. The staff also gives you a short presentation about the Narrows hike and you can ask questions and ask for suggestions then. Overall it was money well spent to stay dry and safe from slipping.

We were so glad we went with Zion Guru for our waterproof gear to hike the Narrows. 1. For adults, (wearing the bib version) the feet/ankle were more comfortable than some others that squeeze the ankle. 2. For kids, the size was small enough to fit my 7-year old. 3. For last minute planners like us, we were able to get 4 people fit in correct sizes the afternoon prior without previous reservations. 4. Kind, helpful and efficient 5. The phone pocket was large enough for the phone with a pocket insured the dry side, whereas other companies had the phones hanging halfway out while people walked through the water! The staff at Zion Guru truly made our adventure one to remember! SAFE AND FUN! Barbara gave us great advice on hiking the Narrows. What to bring, what to wear, how to prepare, what not to miss ...and a fabulous pep talk that gave us confidence to go further than we thought! The gear was perfect too. From Jeff & Renee C. 10-15-2025 Called 2 weeks in advance to ask about services for E-Bikes and narrows equip rental. Lady on phone super helpful and informative. We booked e-bikes and all gear. (Suggest boots / pole and bib coveralls for hike up narrows). They made it easy from start to finish. Very professional. THEN we meet Kody during the bike rental part. Wow owners are lucky to have him. I own a business and the way he took care of us and others led me to ask him .."are you the owner". He said "no...just the general manager". This guy is awesome which speaks to how great his staff is. They all seem really happy working there which makes the customer experience great. Again mentioning Kody he was just really helpful and after we are all said and done with returning everything... he took extra time to share wit us a few of his favorite local coffee shops / restaurants and scenic drives. 10 stars for the Zion Guru no problem. I highly recommend Zion Guru. We were picked up & dropped off at our lodgings & they made sure shoes & poles were fitted correctly(we had gone in the day before our hike to fit them). They had dry bags available that were very nice. Most of all, our guide, Pierce, was very knowledgeable, prepared & very patient. I have some health problems & he was extremely patient while I picked my way across the river & trails. I really appreciated it. He had a lot of knowledge of the plants, animals & geology of the area & was interested in teaching that knowledge. He always made sure to talk to each member of our party. More than anything, he seemed to really enjoy his job & we had a FANTASTIC time. read more

We did not have a reservation before walking in that day after the park shuttle passed us full x3. Luckily, with only an hour waiting for 2 bikes to charge, we were able to rent them. They were fantastic. Both bikes for myself and my husband got us through town and through the park to the temple and back. 4 hours and battery 9nly went from 5 bats to 4 bars. There were no issues with the bike and no shuttle issues! It was definitely worth the 150 we paid for the bike rentals. read more

I can't say enough about this place And Sarah, our guide! They have a Great location, Great signage, Great parking, Great equipment, and best of all,... Great People like Sara !!! Easy to work with and they set us up great for our Narrows hike. We went the night before and got dry bibs for the family, they come w boots and a walking stick. Whole process took about ten minutes. They gave us the lowdown on the hike and where to go On returning super easy (and very trusting!) process of leaving used items outside. We got cancelled off another tour with a different company and Zion Guru came to the rescue! We were able to rebook quickly (a little more expensive but we just went with it). I went in with reservations for a full dry suit for the Narrows and the staff talked me into trying the waders instead. This turned out to be a GREAT choice because the water wasn't as high as I anticipated and the weather was warm. The staff even refunded me for the difference in the equipment. Basically, they talked me into a less expensive choice... which then made my experience way better. I appreciated the fact that I was given the best possible suggestions based on the weather, my height, etc. After trying out the equipment, one of the staff members asked if we'd like an overview of the trail and what kinds of landmarks to look for along the way. This was obviously very useful and much appreciated as well. read more

We rented gear to walk the narrows. Originally (online) we reserved boots, walking sticks, and neoprene booties. When we arrived the day prior to our hike to pick them up, the person at the desk (Sam) recommended we consider the hip waders as the river was starting to get cold (mid -September). We somewhat reluctantly agreed. The next morning was 55F and windy. If we had not had the hip waders, we likely would have not gone past the part of the river that was up past our waist. This part is very early in the river hike, and we would have missed all the beauty of the hike. We are so glad Sam recommended this, and so glad we decided to go with his suggestion. The gear kept us totally dry and made the hike extremely memorable. read more

We selected this place because it had a generous cancellation policy (in case we had a last-minute change in plans). It was easy to find and get parking and Kevin got us all sized for our bibs/shoes/poles/dry bags the afternoon before so we could get an early start the next day. We got a good overview of what to expect for the Narrows hike and the website also had some great info. Pro tip to start your day as early as possible and bring lots of water/food so you can explore for a while and take breaks. We stayed totally dry and I would recommend Zion Guru for anyone looking to do the Narrows hike! read more

We used Zion Guru three times last week for Narrows rentals, bike rentals and Canyoneering. All of the staff were patient, professional and helpful with the entire process of rentals and returns. The gear was all first rate. We spent a half day canyoneering with Noah as our guide. We were all novices so it was a bit daunting to say the least. Noah was patient and helpful so it made for a wonderful and memorable experience. He really loves his job and it shows. Highly Recommended! read more

We did a photo tour with one of their tour guides. We had a great time! He was extremely knowledgeable of the park and the surrounding area and took us to lesser traveled areas of the park. He was also a photographer and offered us tips and advice on our photos. Overall we had a great experience and will sign up for another tour when we return to the area. read more

We had been at Zion a few days and were figuring out where to rent our bibs and boots for The Narrows. We were very glad we settled on Zion Guru. The staff was very friendly and efficient, even with a lot of customers in the store. The check-in was easy, all the equipment fit well, and was high quality. We especially appreciated that the insulated booties were an extension of the bib (I don't think this was the case with bibs we saw at another business, but I could be wrong). The store itself was very comfortable, with clean bathrooms and plenty of room indoors to try on the equipment. Some encouragement for newbies: the bibs are very comfortable, which surprised me. Returning the equipment could not have been easier. read more

Walked into the shop and was welcomed by friendly staffs. They carefully helped me understand how the Narrows hike will be like including the weather and the river depth. While I was trying on the dry suit, one of the staffs made sure that everything was fit correctly and that I know how to zip up the suit and hold the staff in the river. My friends rented water shoes here for hiking the Zion subway. Both were highly impressed with the quality and fit. They made it the entire 9 miles with no blisters and no slip and falls! I on the other hand was wearing my own hiking boots and I slipped and fell twice, and came home with a nice blister on my heel. Next time I might rent boots from Zion guru as well! read more

These folks are the best! We hiked the Narrows on 4-16-22 and were a little hesitant about renting the gear, but trust me, it's worth every penny. You will not regret it. The water was so cold, the current was strong (especially left of the fork), and the water gets deep. I am 6' and the water went about my waist. Thankfully the crew at Zion Guru set us up with the $59 a day dry bib rental package and we were able to spend over 5 hours exploring without getting wet or cold. I saw a lot of people in The Narrows wearing shorts and shoes falling over and turning around because they were not properly outfitted. The crew is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and they make drop off and pick up super easy. I wish they sold some Zion Guru merchandise like T shirts to rock back here in CA. read more

History

Established in 2015.

Jonathan Zambella founded the first outfitter and guide service in Springdale, Utah in 1996. His creation of Zion Guru is the culmination of outfitting tens of thousands of visitors, leading many thousands more on wilderness canyoneering, climbing, and multi-sport adventures, now honing in on the most important part of helping Zion visitors - "with love, little else is needed." Zion Guru is a pathway for visitors to "be" in Zion rather than just "do" Zion. We focus on the "Why" and "How", not just the "What." We know how to make recreation and experience of re-creation. Go gently and absorb the spirit of Zion.

He was calm, patient and pushed us just the right amount outside our comfort level for us to come back with great memories from the trip. Our kids, ages 9 and 11 did great. For one of the sheer drops, he did a tandem for our younger one. This was a private tour, the equipment felt clean and we felt safe and informed throughout our adventure. Can't recommend enough!

The bikes were all working properly when we got them! We spent some time exploring Zion with the E-Bikes. Using E-Bikes helped us explore at Zion the area at a lot faster pace than if we had been using traditional bicycles. One big advantage is being able to see the beautiful Zion views without having to worry about where you will be able to park your car too! Seeing crowds of tourists in identical boots carrying the same poles felt like classic herd behavior and an unnecessary upsell. I was wrong. The rocks in The Narrows are uneven, slippery, and constantly changing. The boots provided great traction, and the pole was invaluable for both balance and gauging water depth. Could you buy cheaper gear for about the same price? Probably. But it likely wouldn't be as good, and you'd have to carry it around. Sometimes there's a good reason to follow the herd. This was one of those times.

The boots are a bonus if you don't like wet socks. The location is right by the entrance of the park and opens early compared to other places so even if last minute (like I was) you can still make purchases before your excursion. So we thought of just driving home if the electricity wasn't going turn on soon. We had asked if we can cancel because of this and they said no refund. Only a credit to use within 2 yrs. Even if it is due to weather. Electricity did come back on 3 hrs later. So I'm glad everything turns out good. Beside that I would go back and rent from them again.

My wife and I and 2 kids (10 and 7yo) used Zion Guru recently (6/17/21) for a guided tour through the Narrows. While one could do this hike alone - as many do - we decided to use a service for convenience and to leverage their experience as this was our first visit to Zion and first hike of this kind. When we arrived at the Zion Guru shop at 6:30am, we were greeted by a very friendly staff who immediately sized us up for the appropriate gear (neoprene socks, hiking boots and walking stick). They then transported us to the Zion Park shuttle entrance, where sadly we got in line with approx 1,200 people -- not Zion Guru's fault of course! The park shuttle system recently went away from the reservation system, and logistically the park was not ready to handle the mass of visitors who decided to come all at once. But our guide Noah was great - he made the hour + shuttle wait in line bearable with his charm, knowledge of the park itself etc, and he was also creative in helping to entertain our kiddoes! The Narrows hike itself was nothing short of breathtaking - and was enhanced by Noah as he shared his extensive knowledge of Zion, which added a unique perspective to the overall experience. He was also incredibly patient with our crew - a hike of this kind is not trivial with 2 young ones, and his demeanor was not only professional, but his positive vibe made the experience that much more enjoyable. Once we got back to the Zion Guru shop after a long and hot hike in the canyon, we were once again greeted by the staff, eager to help us cool down. Such an AWESOME experience overall, which was aided by the Zion Guru team, particularly Noah. We will be back!! read more

As someone always looking for an adventure and an opportunity to push the boundaries of my personal comfortability I didn't have to look very far for such an experience upon entering the town of Springdale, Utah. My friend and I made the trip down from Canada to visit Zion National Park for a week and stumbled upon Zion Guru by chance. Upon just entering the shop there was an overwhelming sense of welcome and enthusiasm for the outdoors which resonated with us and convinced us to step out of our comfort zone and try out canyoneering for the first time. On the last day of our stay in Zion we headed out to the canyons with our guide, Joe, and ultimately got more than we bargained for. As two beginners we didn't know what to expect but we were blown away with not just the technical part of the trip but the experience our guide created for us. This trip was much more than having a harness on and repelling down canyons. It was a true life experience that tested our trust in ourselves as much the company that we were with. Our guide provided us with knowledge about the area as well as the sport itself, and delivered inspiring insight of the importance of the outdoors that will forever stay with us. We had an absolutely amazing experience with Zion Guru. Our trip started on a Thursday with hiking Angles Landings and then we were hoping to do the Narrows River hike as well! Rain started coming in on the afternoon and kept coming into the evening, we went to Zion Guru and rented gear with the knowledge and help from the staff we were outfitted with the proper bibs and river shoes which were a custom design from one of the team members. Once we woke up the next morning we went to the Visitor Center to find out the Narrows hike was CLOSED!! BUMMER!!! We were issued a FULL REFUND for our rental and then we took off to Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef. We decided to head back to Zion in hopes of doing the Narrows and we made it back at 7:30pm to get our rental for the next day! We hiked and had no issues with any of the gear we rented. After a 13 mile hike we headed back to Zion Guru to return the gear and I was thrilled to see how many people were inside getting gear for the next day. We had a fantastic time and the staff was absolutely amazing, helpful, and knowledgable about the hike and history of the park. Honestly, I can't say enough good things about ZionGuru. The convenience and peace of mind that using their services granted to our vacation plans was outstanding. We canyoneered with Jake for 1/2 day, and it was the absolute MOST FUN thing that we did the entire trip. He was encouraging, kind, and constantly challenging us to put what we had already learned to the test. In my book this is going to be a must do any time I come back to Zion National Park. The only thing I would say is to bring gloves (I used softball gloves for handling the rope & they were perfect)! Then, we used the St. George Shuttle to get to both The Grotto and The Narrows. Now, I know its a bit $$ than the free shuttle offered by the National Park, BUT again the convenience of it is unbeatable. We were able to schedule ahead of time our pick up shuttle to head back when we knew we would be ready so we didn't have to fight the crowd for tickets through the National Park Service. 100000x worth it. Finally, we rented the day package to hike the Narrows. The neoprene socks were perfect and as others have said, everyone working in the shop was so nice and knowledgeable to make sure you had the right equipment. read more

My sister and I are 63 and 64 years of age respectively and had never been canyoneering. She was visiting from Virginia and I live in the area. Our guide was Jonathan and he picked a canyon for us that was perfect for beginners. They provided the gear and transport you to and from the site. We did a day trip that included seven rappels down a lovely canyon which was great fun. Jonathan was the perfect instructor, making sure we understood each step of hooking up the ropes by practicing thoroughly until we got it. The toughest part was climbing up the trail after getting out of the canyon and my sister needed to take it slow with many breaks. Jonathan patiently waited each time with her (while I would go up ahead and then wait). She happily chatted with him at each stop and at the end was thrilled she was able to do it! She has been sharing this adventure with all of her friends and it is a trip we will always remember! I highly recommend Zion Guru for their professionalism and ability to select a perfect outing. THE BEST TOUR GUIDE EXPERIENCE EVER. Our experience in Zion was infinitely better in many ways with our helpful tour guide, Nick Goold. We had an amazing time canyoneering and rappelling off of canyons, none of which would be possible without Nick. He made sure we were safe and guided us through the canyons with a helping hand at all times. Canyoneering was not the only activity Nick guided us through, he also guided us on our E-biking journey through the national park. He perfectly timed when to bike behind a shuttle bus in order to keep us safe and out of harm's way. Aside from all of his fantastic tour guide qualities, Nick is a genuinely good person with a happy, bubbly personality, willing to accommodate to each of our experience levels. He even laid in the grass to take the perfect family photo for us! He made our vacation in Zion especially fun and memorable with all the laughs we shared. My family and I participated in the Canyon Adventure Quest on 6/29. We had Lindsey as our guide and she was absolutely amazing. Instantly we felt at ease and had an instant connection. We have 3 children who range in age from 8, 6 and 5 years old. Our 6 year old is on the spectrum and Lindsey could not have been better with him. She ensured that all of the kids were safe, she was able to keep their attention and made sure that they not just listened to her instructions but comprehended them as well. When the kids got stuck or doubted their own capabilities she encouraged them, and walked them through whatever they were supposed to do. Not only did all of our children truly enjoy the entire experience while maximizing both safety and fun, but they walked away more confident in themselves. I can't say enough great things about Zion Guru! From answering questions in advance of our trip to friendly staff interactions to great gear and guides, they really made our trip outstanding. We rented ebikes (so fun!), footwear, and poles for hiking the Narrows and everything was exactly what we needed. I was worried we'd been "oversold" on the footwear, but I'm so glad we didn't try to do the Narrows without the boots and liners. They made it so much easier and more comfortable, and the poles were a must. We also did a half-day canyoneering adventure that was a highlight of our trip. Rob was an incredible guide--friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and a wonderful teacher. We're ready to go back for the full day and more! Neither excursion was cheap but they were both well worth the money. My only complaint is that they had a limited selection of shirts in our sizes in stock--we'd all have come home with souvenirs if there had been more to choose from! read more

We just got back from a full day of canyoneering with Zion Guru and our tour guide Joe. We can't say enough good things about Joe and his approach to the day. Our family consists of Mom, Dad and our twin 10 year olds. I started out extremely scared and so did my son. Joe was calm and explained every step of the adventure to us. Beyond the calm demeanor and obvious expertise, Joe was incredibly patient, explained every move ahead of time so we knew what to expect, let the kids drive their own pace and pushed us all to go beyond our normal comfort zones to experience something magical. His training in wilderness therapy was the perfect mix to get us into different headspace for the day. He was super cool and confident and we all loved him. The absolute highlight of our family vacation at Zion National Park! The adventure company Zion Guru -- specifically, our guides Scout and Lisa -- made the seemingly impossible, possible. They enabled our diverse family group of eight -- ranging: in age from 4 to 67 years old; in body type from skinny to large; in fitness level from yoga master to couch potato; and in temperament from showboat to introvert -- to each experience an exhilarating adventure in the Narrows. We were very happy with everyone who helped us there. Especially the recommendation to do E bikes up the mountain instead of taking the shuttle bus, that really made the trip so much more special for us as we weren't expecting to love doing the E bikes that much. The gear was fantastic and everybody's recommendations that worked there helped us to have a really magical trip that went incredibly smoothly with no hiccups, which I don't believe we would've had had we not had all the right gear. We did e-bikes for a whole day and the narrows the next day. Everyone was so helpful in guiding us, giving the best advice and helping us find the correct gear. Definitely recommend getting evokes for a whole day and going up and down the canyon to hike. We rode all the way to the top, then worked our way down stopping at every trail head. It helped to avoid the rush of the shuttle. Will definitely do that again- even with my 6 and 3year old kids! So many accommodations for all types of people. We had a group of 6 of us adults. Ages ranging from 65-28. When we returned the bikes we gathered our gear for the narrows. They did a great job explaining safety measures and getting us exactly what we needed to make us feel comfortable. Definitely pay attention! read more

We rented e-bikes and full Narrows hiking gear. First of all the employees were extremely helpful and friendly, we felt at ease as soon as we walked in. They took the time to explain all that they offered and answered all of our questions. All employees that we spoke to seemed to be very educated on the products and Zion area. The waiters we rented kept us dry even in waist deep water-would highly recommend renting the full Narrows hiking gear. The e-bikes allowed us to explore the rest of the Zion at our own pace, stopping to take in the scenery for as long or as little as we liked. They gave us a deal for renting both the e-bikes and hiking gear for the same day. I would highly recommend renting from Zion Guru for all your needs in Zion! read more

Great experience and great customer service. The owner Johnathan is truly a great business owner and operator. He made sure my party of 4 had an experience in Zion unmatched to other competitors in the area. He personally helped resolved some hiccups in the trip itinerary that did not have any correlation with Zion Guru but another party. If you're looking for a high-quality outfitting company to get equipped for Zion, Zion Guru is the place to go. Zion Guru was extraordinarily professional, and their level of service is unparalleled. They helped me get equipped for the Narrows, and they are conveniently located next to the La Quinta. I also went canyoneering for the first time, and Jonathan was an excellent guide. He's been called the Obi-Wan Kenobi of canyoneering, and I like that title because he is a wise, patient master of the art of canyoneering. He's extraordinarily calm and experienced, to help even the most fearful person learn how to rappel. If/when I make it back to Zion I will be sure to use them again. read more

I travelled with my daughter we trekked through Zion national park .our leader was excellent and understood the sports injuries we were both carrying so was able to adapt out hike so we could still enjoy a wonderful day. The helicopter trip was good ,the guy who took us to the helipad for our flight was also good , understanding our sports injuries as we went by jeep over rough ground. Our injuries never held us up , we saw and enjoyed everything. Thanks for your understanding,patience and kindness. The canyoneering trip that we embarked on was not part of our original plan but it ended up being the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Jillian, was amazing with our kids and had a calming presence to help with their nerves. Everything was done on our terms, never being forced to do something that may have been easier for the guide. We even finished the predetermined trip early and instead of calling it a day, Jillian took us an additional adventure that was even better. Our extended family of 8 - spanning ages 4 to 67 - hiked the narrows with Scout and Lisa. We couldn't have dreamed of a better experience. They were knowledgeable, kind, and supportive of all of our concerns and needs. They helped us navigate through the rocks and the crowds--and took hundreds of pictures, which they shared with us afterwards. The gear was pristine. Their philosophy is to support a self-guided experience, which is exactly how it felt. Today we left Zion park after having just the best day with the Gurus of Zion. A huge thanks to our guide Joe, he and Shawna made the morning magical for the 8 of us canyoneering. He guided us up, around and through the most amazing red rock cliffs. He very professionally helped talk to those who weren't quite sure about the height factor or how to trust our equipment. We also rented water shoes and sticks the day before to hike the Narrows from them. They were all so helpful with directions and safely tips. Highly highly recommend this outfitter and a super fun family activity for our girls 15, 12 and 10 yrs old. read more
