The first issue that I had was the fact that you couldn't use you card at the pumps. Since that was the case I had to go inside and the lines were horrendous. The cashiers were rude and the customers here were rude. At least 2 people in line were drunk and the cashiers still sold them alcohol. When we finally fueled the pumps were slow and I had to go back in to get cash for the difference from my card. The bathrooms here were gross and the building itself was annoying. It had a casino which was packed with drunk people at 4pm and an Arby's which seemed to be less than clean. In the end we disliked our stop here and wouldn't stop here again.

When I asked the clerk for matches I was told they would get into trouble if they gave out anymore packs of matches. This is a shameful way to save money and a disservice to the customers. They do have a food section but they only stock it m-f at lunch time and they offer very little at huge prices. The microwave cheeseburgers are 5 bucks each and even the burritos that cost $.69 at the grocery store cost a whopping $3.29 Its the only store within walking distance from my home and they do have a decent coffee selection so I will continue to get my smokes and coffee there. But I will never buy a lighter from them.

This was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic with as yet no available vaccines. Yet this was the only gas station that I remember in which all of the employees were "masked up." I'm speaking only for "Holiday Stationstore #470" at 1212 Mullowney Lane in Billings MT. I cannot speak for the rest of the stores in this chain. I was impressed that this gas station/convenience store seemed to go against the red state red tide anti-masking culture. And of course I always wore a mask when out in public in October 2020. Also, the price for regular gas was only $2.189 per gallon on October 2, 2020. No such luck with that low of a gas price in Washington! Yes, I know. My boyfriend, who is Native American, went in immediately afterward to pay for gas the exact same way, and the employee was nothing but rude to him. What made this even worse was the restroom situation. My white mother was allowed to use the restroom without making a purchase, but my mixed-race son and my sister were not allowed to use the restroom even though we were paying customers. That difference in treatment was impossible not to notice. Watching members of my family be treated differently depending on who was standing at the counter was completely unacceptable. I can't speak to what was in the employee's mind, but I can absolutely speak to what we experienced, and it felt discriminatory. On top of the horrible customer service, the establishment itself was dirty and desperately needs attention. We are traveling through Montana and will gladly spend our money somewhere that treats every customer with basic dignity and respect. Please do not give this dump a penny. Get better customer service, clean the place up, and learn how to treat ALL of your customers equally.
