Beware consumers. My husband purchased a $10.00 car wash at Zips in July, 2023. He did not sign up for a membership, but in October 2023, Zips started charging his credit card $45.00 a month and to date has totaled $405.00. THEY STOLE MY MONEY, DO NOT AGREE TO MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP They're running a "promotion" where for no extra cost you can get a monthly membership to the car wash. Things were fine until I tried to cancel the membership before it renewed. I tried calling the customer service number and no one answered any of the times I tried to call. I filled out the cancel membership form online, got no confirmation email, got no email from anyone saying it was canceled, and I was charged $40 when it renewed soon afterwards. Even though I had done exactly what it said online to do to cancel. From there I tried calling the only number on the website around 25 times over the course of a momth, and not a single time did anyone ever pick up. I tried to talk to the manager of the car wash 3 different times about getting a refund and trying to get him to get me in contact with someone higher up at the company. Each time I went, he said "they'll call you later today," and I never heard from anyone. When I kept coming back trying to get a refund for the money they had stolen from me, all he said was "I don't know what else you want me to do." Over two months after I had initially filled the form to cancel my membership, I got an email saying it was canceled. TWO MONTHS AND $40 LATER. This company is nothing but a scam run by thieves. They entice you to get into their subscription, then there is no possible way to get out of it. This is done on purpose. Do not go here. Do not give them money. Do not get a membership because they will purposefully not allow you out of the subscription. They will steal $40 from you and give you massive stress about not being able to talk to a single person. This company is a scam and will steal your money and give you no way to go about asking for a refund. $40 later, I can honestly say this is the worst company I have ever interacted with. In addition to all of this, the car wash is horrible. There's always dirt left on the car. I would always leave the wash with soap and water all over the car because the dryers would never do their job. And only about 40% of their vacuums working at any given time. You're paying to do a majority of the cleaning yourself after you pull through the wash. read more

Overall: meh. I see one other reviewer did not get a receipt, as nether did I. My car wash can be tax deductible, so my receipt is a big deal. Full disclosure, my car was especially dirty. I paid $6 for a basic wash with a $2 tire upgrade. I was 100% DISSATISFIED with the tire wash. As far as the body, my car emerged cleaner, but not clean enough. They qualify for the "one more chance" option, but I am shopping for better options. read more

If I could give less rating I would. This location is poorly kept and managed. I've stressed numerous times to the staff when prep stations are not available and vacuum areas are not operational, the customers aren't getting what they are paying for when purchasing the Unlimited carwash. Once again the prep stations, I and I'm sure other have questioned the broken water line preventing having prep stations available. I approached the manager in the fall questioning why this hasn't been fix....no good answer. I told this location that the Alcoa location would cart water to the prep stations.....the manager looked at me and said "we'll, they shouldn't". Who in their right mind would make statements like this to their customer base when they are not getting what they pay for? This will be my last post for this company as I cancelled my (3) Unlimited memberships today. read more

Something has changed. For the worse. This place was named something else before because I reviewed it and I remember taking pictures of everything and how nice it was. Ohhh nooo. Not now. I came here expecting towels and window cleaner etc. They use to have a cart out here that had all these things. What happened? The attendant was a young girl that didn't know anything but to guide a big 2017 Dodge Rebel straight. I guess the big tires threw her off. She looked in the back of the bed of the truck and didn't know how to take the antenae off. My hubby had to show her. Why aren't these people trained? Wow. We used this car was for the first time in June. It did a great job and the vacuum, drying station is great. Then we did the promotion for a month of car washes for $15.00 only used twice. We were not told it would auto renew. My bumper clip was broken when I came out of the wash. So take the time to always check your car after a wash. I will go back to washing myself. To their credit Michelle in customer service is refunding my money and canceled the account. I will be checking in 5-7 business days to see if that happens. read more

I've been using this location for a while now. I like it, and it does a good job getting my car cleaned up. However, I've always had one main issue. The vacuums are always a hit or miss. Either one of the vacuums per spot doesn't work or both don't work and you have to move around the lot to try to find one that will get the job done. But on the plus side, which helped me change my mind from 3 stars to 4, is that they now have detailing spray bottles to help get spots that were missed and/ or to clean up your glass and interior! I'm very happy with that added feature! Now just time to get the vacuums running better and I'd give this place a 5! read more

I have been a regular customer here for years, but I absolutely will never spend another cent at this place. Today I took my new car in that I've only had for less than a month. I purchased a basic $10 carwash with an upgrade. During the carwash my side mirror was knocked but I didn't think anything of it, until I got out and realized it was literally hanging by the wire. I went and got someone and was met by two employees wanting to fill out a report. I was more interested in the fact that I was about to make a 3.5 hour commute and needed my side mirror fixed. The employee who you will find hilarious to know was the manager told me that it would be 24-48 hours before I heard from them. Like anyone I expected some retribution, so I asked for my $10 back. I was told that I could not be refunded because the car was clean. I absolutely cannot believe that you would rather have an irate customer than do a simple refund. I was treated like absolute garbage by some punk who has no business being in any kind of position of authority. Absolutely disgusted. Awful. It's been months and they still can't seem to get the tire shine on that passenger side to do the whole tire. Half of the tire at best gets done. And today. I got the wax. Why. I don't know. The whole drivers side is not rinsed. It's a film on the whole drivers side. I can't even see out of the driver window. I go to a car wash to save time. These guys are causing me more time than if I did it myself at home. And the vacuum cleaners were so so today with suction. There were three people there vacuuming. It was early. I was trying to beat the rush since I'm sure today it will be packed because of all the rain we have had. Even worse. I bought a package today. BE AWARE!! My wife went recently went through this car wash and a piece of the back window trim was ripped off her car during the wash. An accident report was made on site, and we were told that they carried insurance for this kind of thing and were even informed by an employee that damages to cars occurred often there. The owners have since refused to pay to fix it. Even though they have no disclaimer signs posted, and even after having us go to the trouble of collecting and submitting 2 different estimates. I believe that you can't go wrong by doing the right thing, so I am hoping this post will detour others from incurring the same costly damages and waste of time that we have incurred. read more

Buyer beware!! I have used this car wash in Maryville, TN for years. This past weekend I took my recently purchased 2013 Elantra through the wash. When I came out of the tunnel , the left side of my rear bumper had been pulled from my car. When I went into the tunnel, my bumper had no problems. The kid working took pics and filled out an incident report. After being persistent in getting in touch with a manager, they say they are not at fault and refused to pay anything towards the $1,049 new bumper. Their web site says customer satisfaction is their number one priority. I don't believe it!! They felt they were not at fault and I felt I was not at fault. I proposed to split the cost of the repair and they refused. Their ONLY solution was to offer me free car washes. Right. I will not be back.
