This was my first time using them, and it will absolutely be my last. They completely ruined my $150 sweater, kept it for over two weeks, and then refused to offer any refund or resolution. I was originally told I'd get my sweater back the same day, but instead I ended up making nine separate trips to the store between 10/25/25 and 11/12/25 just trying to get updates. The employees were unhelpful and gave me a different excuse every single time. The most unbelievable one: I was told my sweater wasn't ready because they were "waiting on a part that was on the UPS plane that recently crashed in Louisville." Not only was that impossible--they had already had my sweater for over a week at that point--but using a tragic accident as an excuse was incredibly disrespectful and completely unacceptable. No one at the store ever answered the phone despite multiple calls, and I was never able to speak with a manager. The very last time I went in--when they finally handed me my ruined sweater--the employee told me there was "no way" for them to even know whether they could issue a refund. Another lie. That's when I asked for the owner's information and emailed him directly (Josh Pinkey), but he never responded either. I dropped off a bundle of shirts for the tenth time and asked for a light starch. When I picked them up they were not starched at all. They said customers had complained that the starch was too heavy so they quit starching. I asked for a re-do and they did them over at no charge. I requested a light starch. They came back with an incredibly heavy starch, almost like paper. read more

I dropped off a linen dress to clean and press, as I had taken the hem down too. When I picked it up, it was definitely not pressed and not clean. The gal would not redo it as she said the tag with my info was over a month old. Yes, it was in my apartment waiting for a special event only to see that nothing looked as I'd already paid for. After trying to reach a manager and leaving phone messages I took the dress back in the same bag only to go pick it up again today. This time another bag was placed over the original bag, surprising the gal who had a difficult time finding it. I pulled up the plastic bags only to discover that it still had not been touched. I took the dress and told her I'd never return. Sh e did not seem to care as she was the original clerk who would not let me return it the first time. Dropped a tuxedo shirt off to be dry cleaned and asked if I should take the buttons out while doing so. The zips employee said no they would put them in a bag for me and I could pick them up later. When I picked up my dry cleaning the buttons were nowhere to be found. The Zips employee said they would contact me the next day with a status, but never did. I left a voicemail but never got a reply back. I stopped back in the Zips store and talk to another emplouee who did take my name and phone number, but again never heard anything back from them. I have used Zips for at least 4 years. It's such an easy drop off and pick up. Free parking right in front of store. They also have a secured before and after hours drop off box if you have their bag and Zips tag. They also text you after u drop it off and then when it's ready. I have had no complaints with my clothes when I pick them up. Clean and nicely pressed. You can't beat the price! I would recommend to anyone. read more

I've always heard great things of ZIPS especially in Indianapolis. So I was excited to come here in Cincinnati. While they did a great job and offer great prices, I will not be back to this location due to the parking situation. It's off a very busy road in a very congested area. The parking lot is very small and there are only a few street spots. When dropping off and picking up my dress, I almost got hit. It's just not worth it - I'll be going elsewhere. read more

A little earlier today I had a very unprofessional experience at Zips. I walked in at 5:55 (admittedly, close to 6pm closing time) with some clothes to drop off. The man behind the counter rolled his eyes and shook his head as he noticed me while assisting another customer. When I got to the register, he proceeded to scold me for dropping clothes off close to closing time. The Spirt Airlines of Dry Cleaning. I been a loyal Zips customer for several years at your Oakley location. Unfortunately, I WILL NEVER set foot in your store again. I had issues with some garments that had a musky smell. Today was the third time I brought these items back but today I was met with resistance. I was told by one of your employees Beverly, that it was conspiracy theories or my own body odor that was the cause. She then repeatedly said she didn't care if I didn't return as customer. I had NO PROBLEM paying to get these clothes cleaned. I now don't have the garments I need for a funeral. Just unacceptable. read more

Josh was excellent and welcoming. As for their services, it's excellent, including comforter and laundry services at a fair price. I love their convenient drop off system (bag comes free with your account) that automatically charges my card on file. When clothes are ready, I make a quick pitstop. I have used this cleaners for while but sadly im now going to not use them anymore.I took 2 dresses there paid for them at the time. I did leave them over 30 days i went to get them and they were gone.Manager said they were donated but he would reimburse me because they weren't there long enough to be gone. The dry cleaner misplaced our cleaning that included expensive tailor-made pants, shirts, jackets, etc. They told me my only option would be to "call and talk to Keifer." I have no idea who Keifer is, but, they refused to look, help, or even attempt to entertain the issue. Absolutely abysmal service. Best dry cleaner in town... I have a tan/cream linen suite that I wore to a wedding over summer and ended up getting seriously stained after someone spilled a drink on it. I took the suit to two different placed in town who each dry cleaned the item twice which only faded the stains and didn't completely remove them I then took the suit to ZIPS and shared with them what had happened. They dry cleaned the suit than when that didn't work, offered to wet clean the suit for no additional charge, and the wet cleaning worked! It got all of the remaining, faded stains completely off the suit. And all of that work cost less than $5. The suit would have most certainly been ruined if I hadn't visited them. I came to Zips when it first opened and had no issues getting a silk dress cleaned. They did an OK job, but also importantly - the service was great. The place is clean, well-organized, and even has coffee! However, the last time I went I brought in a sleeping bag. The girl told me it was a three day turn-around. When I came back to pick it up after the appropriate length of time, I was told that it was already picked up. I said, well it wasn't by me, and I wasn't expecting anyone else to pick it up for me, so could you double check? I mean, how many sleeping bags do you have back there? The other man working overheard me and asked if it was a blue Coleman; he remembered folding it. So they both went back and immediately found it. They brought it up front, then turned the computer screen to me so that I could see that it was marked as having been picked up. I said, "Well. Clearly not, since here it is right here in front of us all." At no point was there an apology, just empty insistence that it had been picked up because that was what the computer said. The experience left me with little confidence in the intelligence of those working there that day. read more

This place is very new to Oakley. Located right on Madison by Madtree. There is a lot to park, which is great since its on a very busy road. Went here to have my comforter cleaned. They did a great job and had all the stains removed. Price was fair for what you get. Just your typical dry cleaner. So many options to choose now in Oakley/Hyde Park which is a plus. read more

My professional appearance depends on a clean uniform and to be done on time. I dropped my uniform off on a Saturday and by Monday evening at 5pm it was still not completely washed. I was only given my shirts and the rest of the uniform was not even touched yet. They explained to every customer along side with me they had been behind that day and they apologized . However I also explained to them I gave them since Saturday morning and that I cannot go to work without a uniform in 24 hours! Went there for the first time today as a friend told me they always do a great job. When I arrived, the gentleman behind the counter greeted me very warmly. He explains their policies and pricing in a concise but informative way. There were two gentlemen working at the time and both were extremely friendly. We spent about five minutes talking and I was very impressed with the customer service. I was also impressed with their prices. It cost me $2.99 to dry clean a thick wool winter coat. I dry clean my best clothes to keep them longer, and the-material feeling great. I've been doing this for more than 30 years. Usually I have good experiences but sometimes I don't. Unfortunately, ZIPS has been a negative experience, I had to stop by physically, more than 8 times to find the manager. The staff will not pick up the phone, if they do its rare and the excuse is their busy. I was finally given the managers Kiefer cell phone and we connected but it took time for the meeting about my clothes. He called me one day in a nervous tone wanting to date me and I said that I have a partner, he asked if we can meet for coffee to talk about the refund on my clothes. That seemed reasonable since I had used so much of my time chasing the manager because he wasn't responsive. In the conversation on the phone he was trying to date me, in the conversation at Starbucks he gave me a feeling that I needed to know about his father's health struggles as though I was responsible for Kiefer additional stress, adding to this a feeling of guilt. I expected after one hour talk that I we had a resolution about the refund for my clothes that were damaged. I was told by the staff 2 weeks prior to this meeting that my clothes were at the facility, after this meeting Keifer told me they were given away and that their is no refund after 30 days. He snowed me basically and told me that he was demoted and is no longer the manager. A very bad experience, i looked up the owner on linkedin and sent a message but to this day no response from the owner of ZIPS Franchise. read more
