Don't understand how this place is in business. I only ever see softball and baseball teams with parents at the restaurant as the chain does sponsor many local teams and maybe that's how they stay in business? Pizza was overcooked with not much flavor. The wings were undercooked and fatty and my husband and I got different beers and they were both flat. My kids like the video games which is why my husband dragged me there in the first place. We live up the street so the location is what sold my husband. However the pizza wasn't great when we tried it when we first moved here 9 years ago and it hasn't improved. Hopefully my husband won't drag us back. On weekends they are pretty busy so the majority of tables were dirty with dishes and not wiped down. Floor is super sticky, just overall a big fat no. read more

Some of the most incompetent and unfriendly employees i've ever seen in my life. As employees are walking around doing nothing while one of them was on the phone for 10 min taking an order and a line of five people with three registers open. I actually had someone tell me "he'll be right with you". Took 40 min to get a medium pizza as we sat and watched other tables get theirs who ordered after us. read more

New owner and insanely high prices... $8 for a slice of pizza and nearly $17 for a single spaghetti order.

Good pizza, nice location, friendly staff. The 2 stars is not a reflection of the people working but whoever is responsible for running this establishment. Every time I'm here, there's one person making pizzas and 1-2 people running around, trying to make a place filled with customers happy. Needless to say, they're set up for failure. People are going to get fed up coming here if they can't figure out their staffing. SLOW service. Waited 30-mins longer than was told for my pizzas, only for them to not be what I ordered. read more

Shitty attitude female employee with a really bad attitude and pizza which was mediocre at best. Probably will never return

Still the best NY style pizza in Anaheim Hills. I have had about 150 pizzas from this place and it is my favorite NY style pizza place in the area, so far. Sometimes special requests get overlooked but the food taste and bake is generally spot on! read more

Great food shitty service , always slow and that's even after calling ahead and waiting 30 minutes after I paid

My family and I have been buying many large pizzas at the Anaheim Hills Zitos' Pizza Restaurant for years. Today, 4-1-25, the pizza bread was undercooked, dry, and lacked flavor. There was not any noticeable sauce on our pizzas. I would rather pay higher prices for the same pizzas with the same quality to help them survive in these hard economic times, and I doubt that I will order another pizza from them again. Back to Z-Pizza and Pap Johns for us. read more

I mean, I wish I could say I love it here. I come here A LOT. Literally my family's favorite pizza joint. I'll probably have to come back here a lot. Like my own personal hell, the service is just nuts. Slow, in spite of more than seemingly enough people behind the counter. I dunno, I just never get it. I order ahead, it's expensive: just doesn't add up. Very weird. ‍ read more

Not really sure what has happened with the food safety protocols or recipes but the last 2 times I came in to grab a slice the pizza dough was insanely undercooked. 2 times in a row cooked less than any other pizza I've ever eaten and I'm not one for theatrics. Pretty disappointing because I'd stop in regularly but biting into gummy, raw dough 2 time in a row is just discomforting. read more

Pre Covid-19 review. It took me a while to write the review because the service was so bad. We ordered XL pizza with pepperoni, sausage and extra cheese. The girl who helped us acted like she didn't want to be there and was pretty rude. The place was not busy. There was only one table when we were there. This girl couldn't wait to chit chat with her friends. I was so shocked at her attitude and another nice worker noticed my reaction. She asked me if everything was okay and listened to me. Thank you! I never had this problem from Porky's Pizza. The service from Porky's is always friendly and helpful. This is my third time getting Zito's and the food is just okay. I don't think I will come back to Zito's if they don't improve both the food and the service. QUICK TIP: 1 FREE DRINK OVER $10 WITH YELP CHECK-IN. 2 stars!! Zito's Pizza is not yummylicious!! read more

This review is for the food - it's great. If you want authentic pizza with the proper amount of cheese and toppings, you need to check out Zito's. We have lived in OC for several years, and first found out about Zitos recently, when our son's soccer team had their end of season party there. Since then, we have ordered several times, and the food is consistently good. We got pepperoni pizza, garlic knots, and spaghetti. All were great. Have also tried the combo, and it was perfect!!! Heads up - the small pizza is a small, more like an individual pizza, so make sure you order the large! Also, the place gets busy -- because the food is great, so you should order ahead if picking up, or you'll likely have to wait. Highly recommend - we've ordered like more than 10 times, and always the food was great!!! Happy yelping... read more

I pressed radial on my phone the Manager answered and I told her it's me 2 feet w away and I pressed redial. I also noticed the guy talking orders on the phones. He hade same voice and lied say" he never took order. NOW I NOW WHY THIS PLACE WAS EMPTY AT DINNER TIME. read more

I remembered that I had a truly awesome pizza at Zito's several years ago, and I decided to go back and see if the pizza was still as good as I remembered - it totally is! The ambiance is casual; there are tables and booths for dining, and lots of cool framed pictures on the wall. Not only is the pizza great, but the prices are incredibly reasonable given the quality! Beers are inexpensive as well. What else can you ask for in an outstanding pizza place? ;-) read more

They've gone downhill! We've been ordering pizza and salads from Zito's for over a decade. We've been very pleased over the years. A few times they've messed up our order. No biggie. Sometimes they didn't bring the dressings we ordered or the pizza was very burnt. We either just ignored it or drove the (less than) 2 miles to remedy the situation. They always made it right and handled it. However, tonight, they didn't bring the right dressing or the extra dressings we ordered. The manager (Brian) rudely told us that he could take the price of the extra dressings off of our next bill or they could drive out, pick up the pizza and salad and refund our money. If he was willing to send a driver to pick up the order, why not send a driver to bring the dressings? Didn't make sense and he was very rude about it. Because of his rudeness, we will find another pizza place. read more

This place has gone down hill. Husband and I came for the lunch special. We were the only ones in the entire building. The special starts at 11am and we got there at 11:30. The salad was brought out within 5 minutes of ordering. Our burnt cheese pizza slices were brought out at 11:45. I've worked for pizza companies in the past and I can tell when you're served old pizza. This pizza had to have been sitting out for a while under a warmer before it got to us. Just nasty. Everyone was friendly just the food quality sucked. It took 40 minutes to receive our wings and garlic knots again we were the only customers when we arrived. The orange location is much better. read more

We get the Zitos special pizza about once a month and for several months now the pizza is great, HOWEVER, the service SUCKS! I order it over the phone and they say 25-30 minutes for pick up. Whoever is in charge of the phone here should be fired. Call like 5-10 times for someone to say hey man we won't be able to get your order done for 3 hours. What the hell. This place is horrible. The food is great and the service is usually excellent. Our group went in Saturday afternoon for our weekly dinner. The music which we usually like was extreme heavy metal. There were only about 20 diners and it was pretty obvious the staff were the only people enjoying it. When we asked them to turn it down they did not. Not a great dining experience. read more

I cannot say enough about the experience that I had at Zito's on Valentine's Day. We scheduled a team party for a group of eight-year-olds everything I asked four I was given a yes. They went above and beyond and out of their way to make sure that our party was a success they even got up on a ladder to get a little girls balloon that had flown up into the ceiling. The heart-shaped pizzas were amazing as well as the rest of the food. Thank you so much for everything you all dad to make our girls party a huge success! read more

First off, love their food. But...called 3 times (rang 17 times, no answer; rang 20 times, no answer) called another store ( don't deliver to us) called Anaheim again, rang 6 times and they answered to put me on hold for over 10 mins. Then, the family meal coupon on their website, they wouldn't honor because "they're new system lost it". RealktBad way to do business. We've been going here for years, but not anymore. Zito's Pizza - Coupon they wouldn't honor. - Pizza Near Me - Anaheim, California

For years I would have given Zitos 5 stars. Our family has frequented Zitos over 25 years and always loved their pizzas, salads and hot sandwiches. Sadly, this is not the case any longer. The service has become very poor. The employees are ill-equipped to do their jobs properly. They don't seem to be well trained and the store isn't managed well as it had been in the past. The past few times we've ordered delivery and takeout our food has been unacceptably bad. We kept giving zitos the benefit of the doubt because it's been our family's go to pizza place. Recently we went to pick up our pizza order and were told it wasn't ready yet. So we waited about 25 minutes more (past the time we were told to be there for pickup) and asked what the issue was and were told it still wasn't ready only to discover it had already been boxed and was sitting on the takeout shelf THE ENTIRE TIME since we first arrived. Another time we ordered hot Italian subs and the bread was dried out, hard on the edges, not toasted as usual and completely soggy on the inside. We have ordered these for years and they were a favorite of ours. Our favorite pizza, the provolone special, on two occasions was delivered barely warm, overcooked (the bottom crust was burnt) and another time, undercooked where the crust was still doughy in the center. We are really sad that this has happened because we've always loved their pizza and sandwiches. It was our Friday night pizza place since our kids were little. We now have grandkids and it's changed so much but not in a good way. Please listen to the negative reviews, (they're true) and bring back the high quality that Zitos used to be known for so we can come back as regulars. read more

I've honestly never had a pizza so devoid of flavor that wasn't frozen. I'm serious -- it truly had zero taste. I guess we just ordered a cheese pizza (mistakenly thought we were getting a margherita, or they gave us someone else's pie), but it had no cheese taste, no herbs like oregano -- nothing. We ended up doctoring it up with pepperoni and mozzarella from our own refrigerator and oregano from the spice drawer. Two stars for the crust, which is thick and chewy. Fortunately, it's nothing like the New York-style pizza they claim it to be, as that would have a thin, soggy crust to enable folding. Pretty disappointing, I'm sorry to say. read more

I was disappointed with my lunch today, I have had the pizza here and it's been excellent, But I didn't have the time to wait so I ordered the turkey sandwich and basically what I got was a French roll, stuffed with iceberg lettuce a very thin piece of turkey, tomato and cheese. About 1 week ago I came in to pick up my order when I got home they gave me a plain dinner salad with the wrong dressing, I had paid $14.99 for an Antipasto Salad. I called back a couple days later to let them know my order was wrong the manager told me they can't issue me a refund or give me the correct salad cause I had to call back within 24 hrs. She directed me call the owner, who never returned my call. So I called in tonight at 8:30 pm to place an order and the guy who picked up told me they're not taking anymore orders tonight even though they don't close until 9:00 pm. So unprofessional, been going for years now they're going downhill! I'll take my business to Pepz instead, they appreciate their customers. read more

I just moved to Anaheim Hills and was looking up good pizza around here. I ended up going with Zito's, definitely not because of the reviews (seems only the people who dislike it have left reviews on here)...but I went with Zito's because of my past experiences with the one in Orange. They had a great family deal so I ordered that. They were efficient on the phone, and delivered my pizza and salad just as I ordered them and in the time window they said it would be. Not to mention that the pizza is very cheesy with a good amount of sauce, just how I like it. And I only eat the pizza crust at the top if it's a good one and this one did not disappoint. I'm not really sure what the complaints are about on here, but I'm sticking with Zito's and I would highly recommend them to you too! Just goes to show you that you should leave positive comments for the businesses you like. read more

We booked a pizza party at Zito's in Anaheim Hills as the dinner portion of my daughter's 12th birthday party evening. Twenty family and friends joined us for a well-timed pizza and salad feast, followed by cake! Meeting with the store manager a few days ahead, she and I scheduled the pizzas and salads to be ready at the specified time. And everything was hot and ready just as we arrived. Need another pizza or two? No problem! Order and they're ready in about 20 minutes. No one left hungry from this event! Zito's has a great, family-style atmosphere, much like the pizza parlors of my youth. Lots of room, plenty of TVs showing sports and local news and a small arcade for those wanting to play games. It was PERFECT for our group and party. They even offered a few coupon discounts for the number and type of pizzas we ordered. All in all, Zito's was a good value in todays ever-more inflationary world. Thanks, Zito's for a Great Evening of Food and Fun! S. Smith read more
