Just your average pizza place. Lots of seating inside and there's a mini arcade. Caters to big crowds and young sports teams. You order at the counter and take a seat. The salad is your basic iceberg lettuce and looks sad. You can't expect much from a pizza place though. The pizza wasn't anything special either but not terrible. Took the wife and kids for lunch recently. I have to say the pizza was very good! The place is like an old fashioned pizza parlor, which I really liked. They even had a small arcade area for kids to play in. Price was just right. If I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by again. read more

It's unfortunate to have to leave a one star for this place that I usually go to at least once a week. The female manager that was on tonight (carrying a stack of money in her hands) refused my $100 bill on a $40 dollar tab. Her reasoning is they have been getting a lot of counterfeit bills.... First, the fact that no one recognizes or acknowledges that you come in once a week to "vouch" that you're not some shady tool bag, second the fact that you have some insanely expensive pizza (albeit convenient since I'm a block away), yet you don't take anything over a $20 bill? I actually liked it, my husband not really. He thinks it had too much cheese. I did too but it was still delicious so since it's my help account I'm giving it a 5 star. Side note the soda - coke did taste funny and I did got sick, something I should of reported immediately (I don't know if it was the machine or the syrup or maybe the machine wasn't washed) whatever it was I hope they can fix it because I'll defiantly come back. Updating to 3 stars since I had some positive dialogue with the owner. Pandemic has been stressful for everyone, whether it be customers, staffing shortages, supply chain issues, etc. I've been to the Zitos in downtown Orange and it remains one of my favorites. I believe this Anaheim Hills location can be just as good. read more

Pizza and salads are at the top of our small bomb pizza joint list. They did mess up my order twice now witch is a bit disappointing but the food is fantastic and they somewhat tryed to midigate the issue. So not only did the person who took my pick up order over the phone NOT enter my order I to the system, but they also gave me a mess. Who makes pizza like this? My order wasn't ready there was no record of it. All of the staff if standing in a group chit chatting drinking soda at the bar. You're not busy so how do you get this so wrong? They chased us down accusing us to taking someones beer (that happened to be the same as what we ordered) and was given the same time as our other bottle beers ordered. Then our other groups food comes out (ordered after us) and we find that the salad wasn't out in the POS so we had to go back and pay a 3rd time to get our food right. Food is always very good and the staff is very nice. My only complaint is that out of the last 14 take out orders, 13 have been wrong. Today for instance. I ordered about $150-$160 take out order to pick up. I ordered, among other items, 1 Lg salad and 1 Sm salad... When I get home and look over the order, sure enough, I have 2 Sm salads. It's not the money, it's the size of the ordered food. The lg was for several people. Yes, I should go through every single item before leaving, but isn't that their job? To make sure they have filled the order correctly? The order before this one, I ordered 3 pasta dishes and ended up with 2. Like I stated, 13 of the last 14 orders have been wrong. I heard good things about this place so we decided to give it a try on a Saturday night. They weren't overly crowded and we were easily able to immediately find a table for 9. I ordered a TBGB pizza, wings, spaghetti and marinara and a couple pitchers of beer. I also tasted the caesar salad, irish potatoes, and pizza twists. Everything was well prepared and there was a generous amount of topping on the pizza with the right amount of cheese. The restaurant was clean, including the arcade area and the restrooms. I brought my sister in law here and she cracked her tooth on a walnut shell. They then refunded her meal and gave free garlic knots that made it a little better cause they were delicious! I took her back today because we were craving them only for them to give us them completely burnt. Also, I asked for a lemon sliced in half and this is what they gave me. Not only have the prices skyrocketed, but they give you LESS now for more money! Pizza prices have gone WAY up for the same thing that used to be less...and their pizzas aren't that good. The large dinner salad used to be $8.00 and it was a decent sized salad. Now it's $12.00 and a much smaller sized salad! When I asked if she was sure this was a LARGE salad, she just giggled and said, "Yah, we just changed our packaging, tee hee hee!" I'll say they changed it, they made it SMALLER! It's solid pizza. I like Zito's and I really like this location. The pizza is good and the prices are pretty reasonable. I also didn't get charged for ranch, so that's a big plus. We did carryout - and the carryout turnaround was quick and without issue. The guy who took the order and rang me up when I arrived was friendly. Our pizza was exactly as ordered and ready when I picked it up. Zito's isn't the most life changing pizza experience you'll ever have, but it's really good straightforward pizza. The girl serving us even handed it to us and confirmed it was pastrami, by saying "here's the small pastrami". We know now to check and verify before heading home with our pick up order.
