We visited this location today and I was not happy with the service. I called in the order at 11am or so for it to be ready at 1210 as we lunch at 12:15. We arrived at 12:20 as we are about 6 mins away or so and asked if our pizza was ready, the gentleman who made the pizza said "we had to remake your pizza because you were not here at 1210 and it got cold" I advised that that would be my problem if it was cold we I requested for it to be ready by a certain time because I'm on my lunch break. Which we didn't receive the Pizza until 1238 which at that point we had to take it to go. I will say the pizza was delicious but the service was bad. More because he gave attitude. read more

Zito's. I'd drive by you. I'd wonder about your pizza & I dreamt that it was superb. Last night, my dreams became a reality. I ordered Zito's bcus the local Dominos had left a sour taste in my mouth and I needed pizza redemption. I placed my order around 8:06. I ordered a small Zito's special, a small antipasto salad & the garlic knots. Delivery came pretty shortly thereafter. I believe I was quoted an hour and the delivery came in 45 minutes. Although, admittedly I do live only 6 blocks from Zito's. The pizza was amazing. You could taste quality and freshness in their ingredients. The crust, the veggies, the meat. Wow. I had a couple of bites. But you know what was better than that? The garlic knots. Holy chiminy criminey all that is good. These are the best things to have ever existed. WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? WHY HAVE I CONTAINING MYSELF IN THIS GLASS PRISON OF EMOTIONS. These were an explosion of flavor and sweet sweet doughey goodness. The amount of deliciousness really made me forget about the salad. First of all, if what I got was a "small" I wouldn't even want to fathom what the large would look like. The salad was built for a meal all by itself! Zito's does not skimp people! The antipasto salad had amazing amounts of meat, cheese and had ample pepperoncini, I didn't even have to break out my own stash! I also don't know why people are stating that they didn't get any silverware. I prepared my dinner settings since I didn't think they were going to bring any, but low and behold! There they were. The ranch was so watered down it looked like skim milk absolutely disgusting! If your going to have a huge sign saying you charge 50 cents per little cup. Which is fine but not if it's so thin it's like pouring white water on your pizza. Then when I said I needed a large pizza box to take the pizza home, the guy handed me the thinnest smallest "to-go" container that wasn't going to hood the large pizza yo which I said " can I have a large pizza box to take it home, and the "star~employee" handed me the same thin small box as if that was going to be any different. After years of not being able to come (because I live to far) my boyfriend and I decided to have a good fresh pizza. That is what we got. It was a Monday afternoon when we came in. We probably came in at a busy time but there was no one inside. Our cashier/server was great, she was very nice and made sure we were well taken care of. We came in around 4 or 5 pm. They had just gotten a big order so our pizza took a little while... I love watching them make the pizza, so I was blankly staring into the kitchen to watch them make the pizza's and I guess our server thought we were trying to hurry them.. She came over a couple times and explained to us why our order was taking a while. Finally the last time she came, she brought us some delicious garlic knots on the house, which we really appreciated because we were very hungry. After about 20 minutes of not having food she comes by with our delicious pizza and omg ..... I have no words. Me and my boyfriend were so full, we took most of it home. But OMG... GUYS... Zito's a throwback to the pizza parlor days! You know what I mean-- Arcade games Numerous TV's Little leaguers running around Numerous happy hour specials. TIP TIP:Check their website for any specials or coupons, they can be handy and saves you some $$$ I have eaten pizza here numerous times, I would give their pizza 3 stars- not the best around, but solid and worth it if you want to meet up with someone over some pitchers. They are generous with their toppings, but I usually find that their pizza can be too oily. Make sure if you do order alcohol ( beer and wine only) to head over to the 2nd counter to the right. I also like their antipasto salads as well, again very generous in portion size, a large can easily feed 3-4 people as a side dish. We have tried their delivery service as well, and I recommend picking up your pizza versus having it delivered, as they charge extra for delivery fees, and can take a while to arrive. 3 stars for the food, and an extra star for the atmosphere and customer service. I was in the mood for pizza and decided to give this place a try. Before I walked in I noticed the lunch special sign advertising $5.99 for pizza, salad, and drink so I ordered that. They told me it'd be a 10 minute wait and I was fine with that but thought to myself... isn't the pizza just sitting somewhere? Why so long? Nonetheless, I grabbed my drink and took a seat (there's tons of chairs lined up in case you're grabbing a 'to-go' order). It was probably less than 10 minutes and I got my order and thought ... wow is this order correct? Looks a bit bulky ... I got to my car and saw the box that would typically fit the average personal pan size pizza had a huge pepperoni slice in it that took up the entire box! (see pic) The slice was piping hot, which I LOVED! The sauce had a distant 'spice' to it but nothing crazy, which I also enjoyed. The cheese was super melted and I thought the pepperoni was added in good proportion (not stingy!). The only reason I'm giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is because I prefer my pizza crust thin and crispy, and while it was thin, it was more soggy than crispy. Still a very good pizza and I then understood why I needed to wait for my order, because they were making it fresh! The side salad was nothing 'amazing', but I did like that it had shredded cheese and I enjoyed the raspberry vinaigrette. The lunch special includes a slice of pepperoni or cheese pizza, side salad, and a drink for $6.45 (including tax). I think it's a pretty good deal and look forward to returning! :) read more

Money is extremely tight these days, due to the wrecking ball that has caused so much damaged to everyone's lives this past year, covid 19. But we managed to make a few extra bucks and even though we shouldn't have splurged on such a pricey meal when we could have ate at home or had the dollar menu yet again from one of the local fast food drive thrus. But we had our weekly mountain of laundry to do at the neighboring laundromat so we decided to treat ourselves. We had zits giant sliced pizza one afternoon and many many moons ago and had enjoyed it. My beastie was craving spaghetti too so we figured how we could budget for pizza and spaghetti (we ordered the child's menu spaghetti dinner) 6+$ and a personal pizza 7+$ and garlic bread 3.99 , salad 5.99$ , $30 is for very little food which that was our choice. However we were very very unhappy with EVRERYTHING but the pizza. The salad was effortless and found out they dont even make their own Italian. Dressing?? Hmmm. The salad while fresh was lacking creativity and flavor garnished with shredded carrots and cheese only. 90% of it was just iceberg lettuce. And this was the next best thing they delivered on this meal. The spaghetti which is a long shot from what it really tasted like ...it was cold and reminded me of spaghettios more than and Italian dinner of any form. The garlic bread was not even toasted or toasty it was basically French bread with butter. It was soggy and yellow. We kindly (though sort of heavy hearted because our money we splurged with was literally wasted on food they didn't put much care or effort in and we couldn't eat) brought it back we were only offered more of the same which we declined we had asked if we could instead just have more pizza or a refund they declined both request and were quite ok with having served us such poor quality food in exchanged for our hard to come by money. Can you believe, that this is the first time I have ever tried a pepperoni bite! They are so fantastic! Little yummy bites stuffed with pepperoni & cheese, in a garlic butter brushed dough. Zittos is the last of a dying breed! And by that, I mean pizza parlors are hard to find. Video games and tv's so you can watch any sports event.. The pizza is very good! My company placed a large order for a holiday event at Choc Children's hospital, in which we ordered pasta and salads for 150 people. When we received our large order there were NO servings utensils and NO silverware!? How are we supposed to serve all the children and families visiting the hospital? So we had to rush out and purchase our own silverware and serving utensils. When I called the next day to speak to the manager she said they don't provide serving utensils?! What restaurant doesn't offer this?! I also called the corporate number on their website, left a message with someone and never received a call back. The restaurant manager did offer me 15% off my next order but I kindly declined and informed her that myself and my company will never order from them again. read more

I said ok let's order delivery, place order online, wait time was about an hour, in reality it took the driver 1:30 pizza was cold, driver "forgot" to bring our drink and to top it off he said... I can come back in 5 mins. Bro it took you 1:30 to get here the 1st time. So I said to the driver have them credit my charge card for the balance of the 2 liter. Was that ever taken care of... nope. Zito's is currently in my top 3 pizza places in OC. Their pizza is great, their wings have the perfect level of spice, the garlic knots are unreal and the salad goes perfectly with any of it. They also have really friendly service and the restaraunt is always clean. read more

I would give this Zito's negative 1 stars if it were possible. My family went here after a baseball game on Sat. There was a team from CENTRAL ORANGE FAST PITCH SOFTBALL there. The players were in the arcade (with no parents checking on them) screaming so loud my family could not even have a conversation. The employees just ignored them. We ended up having to leave. Could not even eat our pizza, or finish our drinks. Terrible experience. Take your business to another pizza place. read more

We went to the Zito's Pizza in Orange Circle area today and had the worst service ever at a restaurant. The young guy at the counter was clueless. He was standoffish and should not be working in customer service at all. We ordered a simple iced tea. The pot was empty. He said " uh, I gotta ask the manager to make it but he's busy making phone calls" we waited. Our one pizza sat under the lamp for 15 minutes while the other slices my kids ordered were eaten. They couldn't even bother to let us know the pizza was there. We had to come ask. The iced tea was finally made (way after we ate). The customer service was so horrible that our lunch was completely ruined. A total waste of money and time! The Greek salad I had was disgusting. Just a huge salad full of purple onions and olives. Charged us $10 for a salad worth $3. If I could give this place negative stars I would. The manager should probably get off the phone and train his staff a little better. They have the makings of a good place with decent pizza but the service was a huge disappointment. read more

We really enjoy zitos pizza, the food is usually always great and the pizza is amazing. The atmosphere is nice and you can tell how much our town appreciates this pizza shop. However we were feeling a little adventurous and decided to try their appetizer of chicken strips. It was disappointing, they were small, dry and hard but cost 8 dollars. Delivery experience was less than satisfactory. I live in an apartment and before the driver arrives he is calls me and is worried his cars going to be towed if he parks in the structure.... (As if we have a tow truck on standby waiting for would be delivery drivers.) Then wants me to stay on the phone the entire time he's trying to deliver my order. Gets flustered because he doesn't know where he's at. Then tells me I gave him the wrong directions. As someone from New York, I don't find most LA pizza places claiming to be NY style nearly as good. Zito's was not as good either but better than most places in LA except one (Lamonica's). On Tuesday, they have a special: order a large pizza and get knots (garlic, cinnamon or almond) free. A 1 topping pepperoni pizza was around $18 so with the free knots it was a pretty good deal. With the regular crust, the pizza is definitely not New York style. It was doughy but not in a bad way, just not NY. Maybe their thin crust is closer to NY. They could be a little more generous with the pepperoni but other places have given less. The almond knots were interesting but good. They reminded me of an almond pretzel from Wetzel's. They also had a lot of maple syrup so they are very sweet. Overall, pizza is good and priced fair unlike some other places nearby. read more

Me and my boyfriend wanted some pizza and found this place closest to us. We arrive 45 mins before they were closing and saw they were cleaning the dining room area tables. As we approached the door, one of the workers unlocked it and we asked if they were still open. She was nice and told us they were but we would have to take it to go which we were going to do anyways. The part that really upset us was the other worker clearly was mad that we came so they couldn't close down early it appeared. She was shaking her head as she walked to the counter to take our order. I ordered a custom medium pizza, $2 for each topping. So I ended up paying $21 with five toppings. I was so excited to get the pizza since there I'd seen good reviews for them but what a bummer. The cheese was still uncooked. They literally put five slices of mushroom, four slices of WHITE onions, not even red ones, three slices of bell paper, etc. I should have taken a picture of that, but I was so starving, so I forgot. It was late around 9:50 pm that I placed my order, so I'm not sure whether they were just trying to get out of there or not.
