Really liked this place. Nothing was exceptional but overall a great place. Very friendly service and nice atmosphere. Perfect for a date night. The food was good but not mind blowing. Lamb chops were tasty but slightly over cooked. Deep fried goats cheese with tzatziki and marinara sauces with little pieces of roasted garlic, was the winner of the evening.

Sevin was fantastic as was the rest of staff. If you want a slightly different brunch experience, this is the place !!! A 5 course feast all with mimosas at every turn. Highly recommended!!! I'd go back every week!

Cool spot to pop into for a good afternoon lunch. The waiters were nice however we found ourselves continuously waiting on someone to come for condiments and various items we needed. The food was good and checks the box for Greek food.

Paella is always a treat! Cooked and flavored to perfection! I love the variety of lamb, shrimp, chicken, and sausage.

My wife and I have been enjoying Ziziki's for over 17 years. We have been to all locations new and old. Last night we had a late dinner to make up for not going out last wknd for VD. As always we had a top notch experience with food and staff at the Preston Rd. location. I'm writing this the next day after enjoying my paella leftovers for lunch. Ziziki's and crew are a Dallas treasure. The menu is phenomenal from top to bottom. I have something different every visit and my wife does the same dish. They never disappoint! Always perfection when we visit.

Service is exceptional. Food is exceptional. Ambiance is warm and cozy and inviting. Our first visit will not be our last.

I came here yesterday with my friend after my walk at the Katy trail and had the BEST service. Not only was the food and drinks delicious the service was truly the cherry on top. Big shout out to Rodrigo for everything.

I went to Ziziki's to celebrate a friend's birthday with brunch. We were a large group of more than 16 - they were accommodating with the table setup and pretty attentive with filling waters. The format of the brunch is 'all you can eat' with a 45$ entry for adults, 20$ for kids. This is my main gripe with the place - the price is hefty, and it didn't quite feel 'unlimited' enough to justify it. I think the fact that we were in a large group may have affected this, as it might've been difficult for the server to keep up. However, all plates are served family style, and in my opinion, it makes it a lot harder to get enough of the items you like. Also, the mimosas are limited to one bottle of champagne per two adults. Not terrible, not great. The Ziziki's bread is fantastic as a starter, it got my hopes up. I tried to order more of it at some point actually, but the server never ended up bringing it. It was pretty difficult to ask for particular things, it seemed like everything was coming out on a schedule and that was about it. Again worth noting the party size here. I wasn't blown away by the food otherwise. The meatballs were great. The lamb souvlaki was immensely disappointing, probably some of the toughest lamb I've ever had. The chicken souvlaki didn't look much better but I didn't try it. The rest of the platters were sort of assorted greens and other salads/sides, probably typical Mediterranean stuff. I don't recommend this place for a large party. Otherwise, if you're very into Mediterranean food, it's a fine (expensive) experience featuring the occasional tasty thing.

    Brunch

Incredible Brunch! Comparing to other brunch spots we hesitated because of the price, but for the quality and amount of food and drinks, along with the 5 star service, it is WORTH EVERY PENNY. Every dish, down to the olives which I ordered extras of, were perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. The service cannot be overstated, Selvin took care of our every need and more. Our favorite was course 3 of the brunch: the salad and hummus were incredible, unlike any we've had before. There honestly is no place like this around here, and we felt lucky to find such a gem. We will definitely be back!

Food service ambience all perfect. Lamb lollipops are a must!! So is the Trio of Dips. To finish I got the Seafood tagliatelle for $29 with lobster and shrimp. Amazing. Server was quick and very nice.

Stumbled across this place when I went for a walk on Katy Trail. This cute little cafe is tucked into their shopping plaza and has a patio outside and indoor dining as well. We sat down because we noticed the happy hour deal for 1/2 of bottles of wine. We got a delicious greek white wine and ordered the vegetarian platter and trio of dips to share for 3 people. Everything was delicious and fresh! All the dips had nice flavors(the red one was my favorite) and were served with warm pita. I would definitely visit again to try a main dish.

This was the last course on the brunch menu!!! So yummy so much food served during the brunch there is little room left for the dessert!!

We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.

At one point, our food was delivered while we were outside getting fresh air. The food was also disappointing. The staff was very welcoming, and the other guests I encountered were friendly and sociable. The drinks were excellent. On my first visit, I had the Hugo Spritz, which was mixed to perfection. During my second visit, I tried the Bitter Lemon Soda, which was also very good--simple, refreshing, and without any overpowering flavors. I actually enjoyed The Bowen House so much that I went twice during my weekend trip to Dallas. It has an almost speakeasy-like atmosphere, with low lighting and a cozy, historic feel. It's also in a very walkable area, which made it easy to visit on foot. There is some parking available, although I would say it's somewhat limited. I don't think it would be the best spot for a very large group, but it would be perfect for a few friends getting together. I also appreciated that you can order a drink while waiting for a table or bar seating, which made the wait feel much more enjoyable. Overall, The Bowen House was one of my favorite places I visited while in Dallas. Between the atmosphere, welcoming service, and well-crafted drinks, it's definitely a place I would return to the next time I'm in town.

The hotel property is like four legs under the table - a great location, a great hotel experience, a great restaurant experience, and a entertainment experience (The Mansion Bar). At least one leg has been kicked out, one is suffering. The Mansion Bar used to have a great recipe for success - proven by how busy and regular the customers were and loyal (or was), and the top tier talent that was routine for 10+ years. Me and my friends have a relationship with the long time staff as customers as well as the excellent music talent. The cause? Not precisely sure but I think it's new ownership, at the very least a new Food & Bev manager. I also know the staff is very upset about these changes and the relationships with the repeat music talent is now a mess. I wouldn't be surprise if the staff start leaving. I'm hoping whomever is making these decisions can revert back to what was working. Dallas has a lot of great venues that will fill this void.

(I rarely post Yelp reviews so that's how bad it was) I ordered the steak frites medium-well (thinking it would probably come out well-done, as most non-steakhouses tend to do). After a long wait for our food (the restaurant didn't look that busy, but maybe a lot of to-go orders?) I received the pictured steak: I'm pretty sure I can still hear it mooing. How anyone could look at this and think this is medium-well is beyond me. I tried taking a bite, but it was so raw it was inedible to eat - I would've been chewing for ages. I brought this up to my waiter, who said he would take it back and speak to the kitchen. My group needed to leave for another event (didn't anticipate waiting nearly an hour for our food) so we simultaneously asked for our checks. The kicker? My waiter did not follow up with me on how raw the steak was and did not comp my meal/provide any kind of remedy. I wasn't looking for a free meal, but the lack of follow-through to remedy the situation was the icing on the cake (or insert some kind of raw steak pun). My cocktail (which all arrived AFTER our meals were delivered) was pretty good, thus the 2 stars. But I question why/how my steak was so raw despite me waiting 45-55 minutes for it. Overall, only come here for drinks - so long as you're okay with waiting forever & a day for them.
