I bought a Lexus IS350 about 6 months ago and ever since I bought it is has been giving me issues , the vehicle was repossessed and they claim they did an inspection in the car which I know they didn't and plus the tires where really bad on the car as well . Now that my car does not work they don't wanna help me fix it since they say is my car now , well of course is my car and they knew what they was selling but they did not care. I went in to talk to a manager and this so call manager was rude was just cutting me off and was telling me no no and didn't even let me talk . Amazing service with Tim at ZM. We came in looking for a Mercedes diesel van and Tim was so patient with us. We had the twins in tow and he did not bat an eye. Allowing them to run around his lobby and check out all the shiny cars. If you have not give them a chance I think you should be was very honest and open. Please note hubby was part of the automotive industry and knew what to look for and what questions to ask. We did not have an trouble taking the car out for a spin or checking out the soundness and safety of the vehicle on our own. They were attentive but not hover-y if that makes sense. We were in and out of there with no issues and even before our bank transferred over the funds... (we financed) he allowed us to drive the car off the lot with no issues. Purchased a used 2008 BMW 328xi from ZM European recently and while I've been searching online diligently for the last month or so, even as far as Sacramento. I was pleasantly surprised to find this car with low mileage in excellent condition just a few miles away from me. Joe and Tim are great at what they do. The process was smooth and quick. Test drove two cars and an hour or so later, we're driving home with the new purchase. All contractual options were explained in detail, Gap insurance, warranty etc. They even threw in an extra 6000 miles bumper to bumper warranty on top of what we purchased for free! Will definitely go back if the need for another vehicle purchase comes up again. The manager mr Tim was extremely informative and easy to deal with. Mr Tim helped me out with financing and also hooked me up with extended warranty. Overall the experience was quite positive. We found ZM European while searching cars that would hold 6 comfortably. ZM European came up for affordable vehicles that matched our specs which was SUV, third row seat, leather, 80k miles or less, under $20k on CarGurus.com and carfax.com. This one best met our spec. We have bought over 20+ vehicles and never from an independent dealer because usually the pictures are so different than the actual car and actually match the pictures. When we arrived, we were greeted by Cesar upon walking on the lot. We asked to see the Black GL550 with 77k miles. The vehicle ran strong. It had a couple of kid stickers on the door but nothing that couldn't be removed easily. We had asked mpg which I could have looked it up but didn't so was nervous it was going to consume too much gas. Cesar was quick to point out that they also had a V6 which my wife felt more comfortable with. They seem to have a couple of each car they are selling so that it was not a wasted trip. We then said, ok went on the drive, didn't have stickers. $17.995 when listed online at 19,995. So, feel it is a good deal. Checked KBB and was a good value. Their pricing is actually quite good for their cars. Also, it had fewer miles at 64k. I've also done some vehicle inspections before and the engine was clean and seemed ok. Would recommend bringing these cars to an independent shop to be sure. At the end of the test drive I noticed that two tires were worn. They said those can be replaced. Their mechanic also mentioned while we were closing that the air shocks needed replacement. Seems very honest of them. While it was a bit surprising, I'm happy they mentioned it in front of the customer and they replaced both at their cost as well as the tires. Maybe too busy to catch up front or maybe their process is to check before the customer leaves. Unfortunately the credit union didn't confirm as they were closed that night so they wouldn't sell the car. Difference from a larger dealership who likely would have sold it anyway since there were a lot of financing options. I had been pre-approved by a couple banks already and fortunately I felt confident, but of course, maybe there were some bad experiences where getting the car back can be tricky. Oh well. Couldn't get it. The next day I was called and tried to go but found out he had to leave while we were on the way. Another difference from a large dealer is the backup Staff. That was almost a deal breaker as we did look for other cars that night but none fit us as well as this one and didn't have the time to put in a purchase elsewhere. So we went back on Day3 and finally got it. The good news is that I'm familiar with the buy and sell rate that a dealer can use. They didn't mark up the financing as they passed on the credit union buy rate. Very nice. Thank you. The warranty we got was for the most expensive parts only. We skipped on the gap insurance because the warranty is four years and the loan is 5 years. If the car is under water, meaning owing more than it's worth, upon sale we can pay it and recover some from the warranty cancellation as all extended warranties are cancellable. Given the car was only $17,995 it's not that significant delta over the loan anyways given the down payment also. With 20% down, usually gap is not required. They mentioned sometimes the credit union requires this. I know for sure that it wouldn't occur so skipped this also. My recommendations for working with them. Bring car to independent mechanic if you can't spot things yourself. They do seem honest but there were a couple issues that could have been problematic so please pin down appointments. I'm still giving them a 5 as I'm weighting the pricing heavily into this as well as their customer service recoveries although for buyers who may not be able to spot things or know the purchase process well, it could have been dicey. Overall, they have nice cars and nice staff. Just do your homework. Thanks. We love the car! read more

I had a really good experience buying from here. The gentlemen who run the place are really friendly! I had been to a few other car dealers before this one & I felt hassled at all of them, a lot of pressure to buy. Here I didn't receive any of that, they were all very nice & helped me out a lot. I got a 2009 Mini Cooper s & so far I am loving it! I will probably take it to their shop for any repairs that may need to be done, they said I would get my services there done at the lowest price they could do since I was a returning customer which is awesome! The financing director was great & made sure I knew what I was getting myself into, very clear on all the pricing & financing available to me. I would defiantly recommend this place if you're looking for a hassle free experience. Would like to update my review, while they're awesome in customer service, my car has already broken down after two months of having it. When I called & asked if they had any idea what could be wrong with it they said it was most likely a sensor issue, & that I should be fine to drive on it as long as I proceed with caution. Drove it one more block after I called them & just as I was parking, it died on me. Since I did not want to get it towed to Hayward (I was pretty far from there) I had it towed to a local mechanic. He inspected the car & said it could be the timing chain, which would cost me $2,200 to fix. So great customer service but they might not be inspecting the cars like they should be. They did however offer me a discount if I did come in which was nice. Update: I am beyond pissed. They have they're own mechanic shop RIGHT THERE & not even two months after buying the car it has a minimum of $1,800 in repairs. Leaking water pump, needs an oil change & the timing chain went out(which is common in my car). I called & informed them the car was A LOT of issues, & the man I talked to said "so? We don't make the car, we buy & sell it like you do." I would not recommend this place. I tried to be nice & talk to them but it seems to not be working. So I had a car accident in December 2019 and I was looking for a car that not only was in good condition but something that I liked. I found a 2012 Mercedes C250 at ZM and it's perfection. The process was so easy I did everything online, (all financial paperwork) then I went in for a test drive, next was down payment and I drove off the lot. Bought my first Mercedes 550 from this dealership at bellow market vale, the car had some minor dents but at the time of my test drive it behaved like a reliable car. Now I've had the car for 6 months had 2 major mechanical problems, first the notorious air suspension went out on one side. Then few months later the car developed a transmission problem. I taken this car to Mercedes mechanic and they can not believe the transition went out on this car at 80K miles. From the car fax report I find this car was purchased from an auction. I don't normally check or shop based on Yelp reviews. I figure every place deserves a chance to win you over with their service. I was completely wrong when it comes to ZM European motors. I came by at 11am to test drive and potentially purchase the car of my dreams(black on black Porsche 911), after being told they were really short staffed and that it would be hugely helpful if I could return at 1:30 so the car could be moved from the showroom to the lot for a test drive. Well I hate to be a hassle or an impossible to please customer so I said sure. Despite the fact I traveled a fairly decent distance just to see if the car would be a good fit, I thought my ease and politeness would be appreciated. Wrong again. When I returned at 1:30 I was told the car had been taken so it could be test driven and inspected by a potential customers mechanic! The exact same thing I had come to do but was told it would be "complicated" to do at the moment. I felt insulted and pushed aside. It's safe to say I'll never return to this establishment and I will happily take my 20,000 elsewhere. I traded my Benz CLS550 for a BMW 650i. At first, I was a bit disappointed with the value I got for my car but it did need a lot of work, so in the end I will say it was fair. The gentleman in charge of finance is so very professional and polite. He explains everything in detail, is very transparent as far as rates. We were ready to agree to a rate when he stopped us and told us we had a better offer come in from a different bank. That was nice. Fast forward, I'm driving for a month and get a flat. So I find out my rim is cracked I take it there and they fix it for free. Explaining that they're about more than just selling cars. They are going to fix my radio at a very low price of $200. I was expecting to pay over $1500 at a BMW mechanic thinking I had no other choice and my car needed some software update. All in all, great people. Fair. Going to a private dealer is typically a horrible experience, where you're lied to and not expected to know anything. At ZM, not only was the service exceptional, we were impressed with the fact that they kept their word each and every time. While the office itself is beat up and needs updating/cleaning, their selection is great and the owner, the mechanics and the finance guy were all very nice and genuinely cared to make our experience pleasant. Cesar, more like a bodyguard, was funny, nice and you can tell, a very loyal employee. Joe, the finance guy was real stead fast on his pricing but nonetheless a very nice guy who helped try to keep us happy, to the mechanics Enrique and Mohamed who were truly very, very nice, easy to talk to and genuinely cared to make us happy, all the way to the owner, who you can tell works very hard to keep his customers happy and coming back. Really surprised at our experience here and will continue doing business because not only were they very nice, they are extremely trustworthy!
