If you're looking at doing just about any type of facial rejuvenation and then some, ZO pretty much covers it all from A to Z. I've always tried to use some type of moisturizer and/or sun block as best I can, but over time the sun exposure here in Houston coupled by genetics, you get either sun spots / freckles on your face. After reading a few glowing reviews from my other Yelp colleagues I decided to stop in and inquire more. During my first I was greeted by Sonia and she was very good at providing me some insight and recommendation for my needs. Long story short I ended up purchasing a package of the micro needling and the IPL (Intense Pulse Light). Basically the micro needling does a great job of getting your skin to shed the dead skins cells and the IPL zaps the pigmentation. All in all its been a great experience and has done a very nice job of reducing most of the pigmentation / freckles (have one more session of the IPL) and would encourage anyone to try this place. read more

I would see him in his office upstairs at the Migraine Relief Center, however his Skin Care Centre has recently opened downstairs. Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, comfortable examination rooms. They have coffee and water in the waiting area (which I was kindly offered) Dr. Khorsandi is extremely personable and I never feel rushed. They have several skin repair and prevention solutions as well as fillers. I am sure they offer other services, however I haven't investigated. I am on their email list and receive emails about their latest savings and discounts. Stop by to see their products or schedule an appointment with the doctor. I don't write many reviews, but I had a great experience in this office and I'd like to tell you about it. My first impression walking in was that the space was visually pleasing, clean, organized and relaxing. I was promptly greeted and shortly after was brought to a room where I filled out forms. A woman came in to answer any questions I had and explained about what to expect during the procedure. She informed me that before the procedure, the doctor likes to speak with every new patient. We did a brief FaceTime call and discussed our goals and the plan. The procedure was quick and easy and I was on my way. Another small things that I really liked was that all the forms are filled out on reusable surfaces, so no paper is wasted. Another thing, they did not push products. When I asked about whether there were any, they were very knowledgeable about different options such as toners, cleansers, moisturizers, etc... Overall, this was a great experience, and I really liked the people in the office and the doctor. I will be following up there in the future and would highly recommend them as a place to explore options for your skin care needs. read more

My doctor stopped performing Botox so I had to find a new place. I did start with a Groupon but I have found my new establishment! Staff was so friendly, the doctor had such a calming bedside manner (even though I'd had the injections before), the facility is so clean and relaxing. Overall a great experience and I look forward to treating myself to something else as well. An urban oasis in Montrose! I had a hydrafacial with Carrie, and she is just AWESOME in every way! She is friendly and always smiling--really a breath of fresh air! And her skin is flawless! My skin has been neglected as of late, and she spruced it right up in 60 minutes--I felt so much lighter, cleaner and overall brighter than I had walking in. She's thorough and doesn't waste time. I personally don't like when I'm getting any kind of spa service where I feel like the person is wasting a lot of time and/or uses light touch and doesn't put their back into it. I got my first facial in 10 years. The Hydrafacial has changed my feelings towards facials. Holy crap, I saw a huge difference right away. I came in with full blah skin, but left with bright energized skin. Carrie is amazing! She is so sweet and nice and will not pressure you to buy products. I went to ZO for the first time with a friend for botox and we both had a great experience and will definitely be back! Being in our late twenties, neither one of us had ever done any injectables before and Dr. Khorsandi sat down with us and answered all of our questions patiently and never once did I feel rushed. What I loved the most is that the doctor did not push other procedures on us at all or try to mint money from the clients which is something that friends of mine have experienced at other med spa's and doctor offices. In fact, he took a look at my forehead and didn't think I even needed botox there yet since I haven't developed a lot of wrinkles there yet. I appreciated that and we did minor tune ups elsewhere. Overall, everything went smooth and the front desk also gave us one of their exfoliating scrub products to try.
