Nice little shop in a fairly new complex, I ordered two of the breakfast biscuits which had cheese, eggs and tomato in them it hey were alright and one wrap which was pretty good and tasty. The help was friendly although when I got my order it was a bit wrong others coffees I ordered one was an Americano but they put cream in it where I specified just black otherwise it was pretty good parking looks like it can be a bit of a issue as street parking seems to get pretty full I had to park about a block away. The menu was cut down from what was shown on Yelp so that was a bit different other than that I wouldn't mind going again for the wraps

Great location and PLENTY of seating. Very clean inside and a handful of options. -1 star because myself and my partner both got different coffee options and it was zero flavor in the coffee. Just tasted like warm milk -1 star (this is just me) this again is a fun spot to relax and if you have time. If you are trying to get your coffee and get going do not come here. To get our two coffees, with no line or crowd it took about 10 minutes. Again I know it can be a process to make coffee, but considering we wanted to grab and go this was not the place for it.

Quiche Lorraine- Rustic French Quiche filled with bacon and onion and egg custard baked

I decided to check out this spot to meet up with a friend. The place is bright with lots of windows and great art. It's a perfect spot to get some work done if that's your thing. The Quiche Lorraine was delicious and had bacon in every bite. It is a Rustic French Quiche filled with bacon and onion and egg custard baked into their homemade crust. Served with a house side salad or fruit. Their biscuit with strawberry jelly was buttery but decent. The service is your regular coffee house service from the register to your table. If you're looking for a place with a great playlist, calming vibes and getting some work done, then this is the place for you!

Very clean and beautifully designed restaurant with alit of natural sunlight. I had a caramel brûlée latte with half the sweetness and it was excellent. I also tried their scrambled eggs plate, everything was very tasty. I loved the crispy fried breakfast potatoes. Will definitely go again.

I'm sad bc this place is so freaking cute and I love supporting small businesses. But dang they did me dirty. I ordered here and iced Matcha with whole milk and vanilla a small one. It was eight dollars when I tasted it there's absolutely no vanilla in it. When I asked her. She said there was just a little bit left in the box in the bottle that they had. :/ I'm sorry ma'am, but be honest let me know and maybe offer something else I could've did mocha and I expect my Matcha to be more matcha especially if I'm paying over five dollars for it. I've attached the picture of it.

Getting to Zocalo isn't difficult. Zip down 9th ave. from Embarcadero till one sees the terminal building at the left. Zocalo is to the left. Finding parking is trickier. Signs posted in front of Zocalo: "Future Resident Parking" with hours posted. "Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at owner's expense" barrista doesn't know when they towed. There's a small lot across with no signage and limited space. Barrista is uber friendly. Got covfefe & pastry within minutes. Place was empty. Thought it looked closed. Offerings: quick bites, breakfast, sweet & savory, sides, sandwiches, salads, covfefe, brunch, lattes, drips. Eats: croissant pastry (5.75) by Firebrand -big & fluffy, not very buttery, tasted ok. Drip covfefe(3.50) dark roast -house brand made from Columbian beans, tasted lite, had lots of body, smooth, interesting taste Drips: -lots of seating, inside and out. -R & B music slightly loud for people trying to study. -room is flooded from natural rays from the sun. One can probably get a suntan inside or outside, bring suntan lotion! -place feels sterile from the concrete and the signage outside. Only the patrons, the covfefe & the barristas makes this space inviting

Ya know what? I'm a fan. I was debating between 4 and 5 stars, but decided between ambiance and food it deserves to be considered a 5 star cafe. Location: Hidden in the large luxury building development in Brooklyn Basin, this modern coffee shop looks at open space on the water front. If you don't want to sit window-side, you can take your fare to go and find yourself a bench. Parking is limited as there are about 6-7 luxury apartment buildings and they're doing construction on more. The coffee is solid, and the breakfast sandwich was fantastic. Available on a croissant or sourdough, it was bacon or avo, egg, cheese topped with fresh greens. The $15ish price tag was shocking at first, but this was fresh, large and sadly, that's the going rate now for a sandwich. They include a side which was the option of potatoes or fruit, which was a substantial side, adding more value to the price tag. Bright, modern, a great menu if you're looking to eat in a location off the beaten path but seems a world away. I'm into it!

Location is great! Ample space for doing work and wanted to love...unfortunately their matcha is probably the worst I've ever had. The barista was kind and let me know that it's very bitter and recommended sweetener. I added vanilla which I thought worst case would just taste like vanilla milk, however the powder is so incredibly powdery tasting that the entire drink just tasted inedible. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing?

Zocalo Coffee is finally in Oakland! It's located in the Brooklyn Basin neighborhood across from Township Commons. Today (02/13/23) is their soft opening but they're already looking great. The space has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The service was kind and welcoming. They had a limited food menu for now but they offered pastries and avocado toast. We had their mocha and a couple cookies (oatmeal raisin and chocolate chip) and it tasted great. I'm excited to come back and try more items!

    Not French fries

I'm not going to lie yall did me so dirty giving me extra coleslaw instead of French fries like we had ordered. We look forward to the little things like that and we're disappointed to open our food and see it was DOUBLE of something we didn't ask for :/ It's all love but yeah that sucked.

I absolutely LOVE the original mochi muffin. The mochi texture is my favorite because of how bouncy and chewy it is. Prices are $$$ for their pastries and coffee but I do like how it's in Alameda. I would like to note the baristas are nice and they know the regulars which I can tell because they did not greet me at all. You can def see how they greet the regulars versus the other customers as I was waiting for my drink. When I walked in - Not even a hello, or I'll get to you soon. I stood there just waiting and I can obviously tell they're busy so that's why I am waiting - but it would have been nice to be greeted. The two baristas had time to make random small talk as I waited and nobody greeted me still. When she was ready to take my order it felt a bit awkward because still not really a greeting. I'll def come back for the muffins but if I have to stand around awkwardly then I'm going to leave next time lol

I took an Uber which dropped me in front of the correct building location, however, I had in minds eye remembering seeing a coffee shop in the Salesforce Park so I inadvertently went to that coffee shop. WRONG! After realizing my mistake, I texted my colleague and we were able to connect IRL on Andytown Coffee Roasters on the 7th floor. The shop is HUGE and since it took a few minutes to circle back my friend ordered me a medium coffee ahead of my arrival which was great given there was a long line by the time I arrived. The coffee was very nice and I appreciate the taste and warmth. After about 45 minutes we left the ACR shop and walked in the elevated Salesforce Park which is stunning urban designed. The only comment I would mention is the noise volume levels were loud given there were 20-30 people in line to order and talking. Not a big deal, we moved to two very comfortable sofas a few feet away or could have gone outside since there is many options inside and outside to enjoy the space. I took several photos of my visit and when I am back in the area will definitely go back and try their menu. Don't forget to leave time to causally stroll around the magnificent shaded garden 7 stories above the street! Enjoy!

They have a seasonal Strawberry Matcha Latte, and I have never felt this disappointed in a drink before. The drink barely had any matcha and turned grey after mixing. The strawberry was overly sour. You can see from the color that they used the most oxidized matcha ever. The drink really tasted like iron mixed with something sour. I hope they taste their drinks before selling it. Maybe other lattes are better but honestly this was just way too disappointing.

Service: The baristas were extremely friendly and diligent on getting drinks swiftly made to order, while also being knowledgeable and helpful with questions on the menu. Wait time: Less than 10 minutes between ordering of food / drink and it being ready when going at 10am on a Sunday. Matcha: The Velvet matcha had a good matcha flavor without being overly sweet and a good balance between ice and actual drink. The matcha foam that goes on top is also not excessive while providing a more deep flavor profile that the actual drink lacks a little in. They do also have lids on a side table to allow for you to take your drink on the go with both a straw option and sip lid built into the same top. The matcha crepe cake was okay but did not really have a strong matcha taste to it and the crepes themselves were not very flavorful either.
