Soooooooo this is the second time we got Zojah Burger at work and last time it was amazing I couldn't Stop talking about them enough. This time the experience was awful. I got my usual Zojah double with fries. Sauce in the burger and an extra one for my fries . We got no extra sauce , and I got no sauce on my burger. The fries were way to hard. I was so disappointed because from the first time I had them I was raving about it to everyone. Definitely isn't consistent with the food. Will I tey them again ? Finally got around to trying it. Bit chaotic. The parking is tight. If you don't see a spot on the left as you come in don't turn left. The drive thru is down that side of the building and it's one way. Bit of a pain to turn around. That being said went in and the first thing you notice is the music is really loud. Good music. Just loud. Went to the counter to order. Some things you can get on your burger they don't advertise like tomatoes. And mustard and ketchup. But ordering was done and we wait for our food. The drink station is in a bit of an awkward spot. Feels like you're going behind the counter to get a drink. Prob be easier to have someone who works there fill and refill em but it's cool. So the burgers. Just looking at the smashed burger 50% outside the bun I knew I wasnt gonna be a big fan. The meat alone is kinda salty and crispy. Once you get to the bun and the toppings it's pretty good. You just gotta get there. Fries nice and crispy. Sweet tea was tasty. Glad I got to try it. Recommend: Not for Me I was really looking forward to trying this place since it has so many great reviews. Unfortunately, I may be the outlier here. Let me start with the positives. I ordered the ZOJAH Smash with Fries ($14.99), which comes with a smashed Certified Angus beef patty, cheese, onions, pickles, ZOJAH sauce, and crinkle-cut fries. The burger itself was fine, but I didn't find anything especially memorable about it. The ZOJAH sauce tasted similar to Thousand Island dressing or the sauce used at In-N-Out. The bun was very soft, and the pickles added a nice crunch, but overall the burger felt a little lacking in flavor, even with the generous amount of sauce. The standout item for me was definitely the fries. They were crispy, fresh, and easily the best part of the meal. I also ordered a regular fountain drink. The restaurant had music playing during my visit, which helped create a lively atmosphere, but it was a bit louder than I would have preferred and made it harder to have a quiet conversation. At the end of the day, the food just didn't live up to the hype for me. The vibe in Zojah Burger is very sleek and modern, but clean and inviting. The food is AMAZING. Another "new"place we tried, failed us again. It's completely overrated, over hyped and overpriced. The patties are paper-thin "meat wafers"basically soft jerky with crispy edges. I've passed Zojah Burger many times since it opened up. I had to try them out. I got the Zojah Double Burger with fries for $16.99 plus tax. The burger was pretty good. It wasn't great. The fries were crispy. I got my food in a timely manner and I received good customer service. This place reminds me of Freddy's. The burgers are very similar. It's a place I would only eat at a few times a year. I wasn't wowed by anything I ate. It's almost twenty dollars for just the burger and fries. That is a little high on my opinion. The sauce, the onions, the pickles. Just a great burger. I have reviewed burgers before and the smash burger is new for me. I enjoyed it. A double patty smash burger filled me up and I was good. Husband had the regular burger with grilled onion, pickles and sauce. He loved it. They give the right portion of ketchup for us. It handled all the fries I ate and I was happy. A nice crispy Coke Zero to be my drink. The decor was nice the red black color scheme was just enough. I enjoyed the sign so I took a picture. The spicey chicken sandwich was a giant chicken strip in a burger bun. But guess what? They were the same size as Dave's Hot Chicken "sliders" and you can choose your spice level. PLUS - you get TWO of them with fries for about the same as we paid for those one with fries. The Smashed burger was fine. But nothing memorable. You can go elsewhere- I can name at least 3 chains that's has smash burgers and you get lettuce and tomato on it too - not just onion and pickles. The location is convenient and easy to get to (with tons of parking in two parking lots on both sides of the building), fast service, delicious food, and an upbeat modern vibe inside that doesn't get in the way and lets you enjoy your food and conversation. I ordered a double patty smashburger, with jalapeños, wrapped in lettuce - and let me tell you: it was very satisfying. Could I have had more? Yes. Should I have? No. So I didn't. Their fries are good, too, but they're not the main attraction here. One kid tried the chicken nuggets and wasn't a fan, so maybe there's room for improvement (or maybe she's just very particular about her chicken nuggets). He gives us his recommendations and did tell us that it would take 25minutes to get our food. We decided to stay and order, I went with the Jalapeño Double smash burger with fries, no drink, my husband got the ZOJAH smash burger with fries, no drink just water cups. Two shakes. It was $50 before tip! Holy moly for a regular burger place we were expecting maybe $30 max. My jalapeño burger was good, I'm not a fan of smash burgers, very thin patty, I like a big juicy patty, but the burger wasn't bad. But definitely not worth $18.
