Alright. I wanted to leave 1 star, but it wasn't all bad. My kiddos and I visited recently. We were meeting a large group during lunch hour, so I knew the wait time would be long. I took it upon myself to place an online order using their website. Their ordering platform isn't very user friendly. You can't add items on certain orders, for example: the kids burger meal only has the option for meat temperature (medium, medium well, well done), and cheese. There are no options for veggies, or dressing, or to upgrade the fries to something different. My littles enjoy sweet potato fries, so we usually opt for these when available. I was placing an order for pickup, so I feel adding these additional options isn't a big ask. I also ordered a Cobb salad. The only dressing option was ranch dressing and I am a vinaigrette type of girl. So, I wasn't impressed. My order said it would be ready by 11:46. By 11:50, I still had not received the "your order is ready" text, as promised by the automated messages so I went to the pickup line to ask. The young lady said "we'll call you when it's ready." And I responded "the system said it would be ready at 11:46. It's 11:50 and it's not ready?" She admitted the order had to be manually printed and given to the cooks and she failed to see and print the order. I thought I had beat the long lines and wait because I ordered ahead, but I was very wrong. This was especially frustrating with my hungry littles by my side, though they were so patient. I added onion rings, chips, and a burger to my order. The young lady did let me add on with her instead of having to wait in line. She gave me my drinks and I asked her for the chips for us to snack on while we waited, again... she never apologized for missing the order, but it was ready much faster than I expected, so I think she did give the staff the memo that they missed it. We sat outside eating our meal and to my surprise, I found a hair in my burger. It was literally threaded and cooked into the meat of my burger. I did not return the burger, but I did stop eating it. The kiddos enjoyed splitting their burger and fries. They also enjoyed the chips. The tea was tasty and refreshing. Onion rings were good, as were the sweet potato fries. The Cobb salad was also tasty, though I do feel for the price, They could add more greens and make sure there are no wilted or slimy greens. The turf area is nice for the kiddos to burn off some energy, though mine did not. My littles wanted a playground and not a play yard. The restrooms were also clean, which is great with 2 kiddos. They had a diaper changing area in the stall. The indoor and outdoor spaces were clean and maintained, which is a big plus. Overall, I'm not sure we will be back unless someone invites us, in which case we may give it another try. read more

Place is huge and open inside! Very different than other burger joints. Almost felt like I was in a BBQ restaurant inside. When you walk in, there rails by the cashier, I'm assuming to control clients coming in. Lots of tables and chairs throughout the place. Sat by a corner table and about 5-8 minutes later, heard my name called on the speaker and got up and picked up my order at the front. Place is well organized, clean. We tried a variety of options. The Chicago Hotdog was excellent. I definitely want to come back to try their chili dog. The burger was good. It had plenty of meat & was fresh. The fries were also really good. I loved them both. The chicken tender was flavorful & crispy but slightly dry. This spot is great for team events & family outings. Good food but you all need a second cashier spot, that wait is a little too long. The chicken burger is excellent.

They have decent sized burgers and lots of toppings that can be added but for an up charge. They also offer fries, homemade potato chips, adult beverages and shakes. They have a decent sized parking lot and when we got there at 11:30 am there was no line and the staff was very friendly. When you order your burger, you can tell them how to cook it, I ordered mine medium well, but unfortunately, it was cooked past well done and super dry. We got our food to go so I couldn't take it back to them to show them how it was cooked. I added mushrooms and avocado. The mushrooms were worth the upcharge. My burger was overflowing with them, and they were tasty. The avocado was a little lacking, in my opinion, for the price to add it. The fries were ok, but the homemade potato chips is were its at. They tasted fresh and had a nice crunch. I also got a shake. It was amazing! The shake tasted like they had a vanilla plant outside. It was so flavorful and creamy. Would I go again? We arrived 5:30pm on a Tuesday to wonder if they were even open. The lot was virtually empty. People finally arrived around 6:00. The place is huge! Lots of long picnic tables and many round table that can accommodate 8. The 'patio' area has a huge turf covered lawn that the kids love and run around on. This is definitely a good place for families to hang out. Now the food is excellent. The burger was very flavorful, the fries excellent and the chocolate shake was the perfect combination. The reason I cannot give it more than 3 stars is the bathroom. Absolutely disgusting. Every single stall had feces on, in or around the toilet. There is NO WAY they have been cleaned in a few days. This trip was pretty disappointing.... We arrived right before the lunch crowd so we walked right up and got our order in. Went for drinks and there was no ice tea or sweet tea just the tea bags sitting there and the bins empty. Sat down to wait for our food and the chairs just look defeated some rusty, some just barely hanging on... We were called for our food just a few minutes later which was nice, but when I went to the bar where they keep the onions there were (3) red onion slices and about (10) white onion slices that were dried out like being there from the day before. So I took the red onions. The plates looked nice especially the Chicago dog. I go to put my burger together and i have (1) skimpy slice of tomato and a few shreds of lettuce. The bun was really greasy on the outside, not sure if it was butter or what. The burger had no seasoning at all and the fries were limp. My wife really enjoyed the Chicago dog she said it was very tasty and fresh, she tore it up! We also got a cup of chili and it was very enjoyable. Had an amazing experience at Bigz. We called a week ago and Diana set us up with a great spot out on the patio. The food (as always) was on point and still at a great price. My son even remarked that he had paid more at Sonic just a week ago. We had a wonderful family event and highly recommend Bigz for parties as well as just going out to get a good burger. It's also has amazing gluten friendly options if you need it (which is a huge plus for my sister). The service is always quick, friendly and precise. Decided to give this place a try. We left there very disappointed. We walked in and ordered and received our food but the only problem was that almost every table in the place said reserved. We looked around everywhere for somewhere to sit and there was absolutely no seating. We had to all stand around a trash can and eat. We ended up just throwing our food away and left. What they should have done was had a sign at the front door letting everyone know that the seats were reserved. We would have left and gone somewhere else. I guess that's why they don't put a sign. My burger had literal MOLD on it and it tasted like human feces. I thought someone messed with my burger and put something in it. It smelt like human crap and the taste was terrible. It tasted the exact way it smelled. Wife and I took my son and daughter in law and grandkids to Bigz. Haven't been there in quite some time. Menu hasn't changed much since the last visit. Grandkids had grilled cheese and chicken fingers. Wife and I split a grilled chicken sandwich and got an extra order of onion rings. Chicken was dry and had virtually no seasoning. Not impressed at all. Onion rings were hot, but again no taste. Really tasted bland. My son's burger as he put it "okay." Grandkids enjoyed their food. We both got the Bigz #1 Single Burger, with sweet potatoes fries and drinks. Their burgers come with tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. Other toppings can be added as extras and condiments are located near the soda fountain. I got cheese and jalapeños on mine and my boyfriend added bacon and onions on his. They put a giant HANDFUL of jalapeños on mine for $0.79 and I LOVE it. The picture I post doesn't even show all the jalapeños. Do you know how many other places charge $1-$2 for like 4 tiny pieces? Anyway, the meat was flavorful and cooked perfectly (we got it medium-well). The sweet potato fries were amazing! Those 2 meals came about to be around $28. Overall, I think that Bigz is a solid burger joint with good food and service. Is $14 a meal too high? Kind of. It was just a single burger with cheese and jalapeños with fries and a drink. Not a bad place to go especially if you have kids that like to run around and have fun. Most people would start with describing the food or customer service but not me. On a recent going away a coworker wanted to go here as it offered a place for his kid to run around. The large astro turf area is huge and has plenty of room for the little ones to tire their selves out. Even the big kids seemed to enjoy running around and I am talking about the adults who found their inner child. The food is on the level of what you expect with the prices in this establishment. It is a hit and miss for prices. Some prices seem legit then others will have you doing a double take. I think some chili cheese fries were going for just over $7. A little bit on the steep side in my opinion. It is very much edible and plentiful for a few items. This is not a place you have to worry about finding a seat in this massive place. Just think of a summer camp where all the outdoor seating is covered but there is also ample seating outside in case you want to enjoy the weather. The selection of adult drinks is what surprised me. An ample selection of beers on tap and every now and then various deals on mixed drinks. This place is not bad but not good enough to pop in your head when you want to grab a bite to eat while out. I've only been as part of a large group, and it's easy to understand why this is the default place. Bigz offers burgers and hot dogs that are dished out of a large, open kitchen to feed the masses that dine inside their large metal building or outside on their expansive covered patio. There's plenty of room for your entire family and all of their friends, and if they've got kids there is a large grassy area for them to play on. You stand in line to order and wait for them to call your order over the microphone which is pipped inside and outside. It's a bit hard to understand what they're saying, so I'd recommend standing inside to get a visual on the order when you think you hear your name. The food is pretty good when you consider that they are cranking out a ton of food - mostly burgers and fries. If you're not ravenously hungry that day I'd say skip the sides and just get a single patty burger. These are on the scale of a Whopper in terms of burger to hand size ratios. The Chicago hot dog is pretty good, and they also offer seasonal menu items that can include a dressed up burger of some kind, a BLT, or even a fish sandwich. Bottom line: Bigz is a great venue for a large event especially since everyone can order at their own pace and on their own check, but I'm not coming here unless it's part of a large group function. read more

I took my family out to try something new and have always noticed this place and their field while passing through 151. The place is really spacious and currently have some dining areas closed off due to Covid-19 restrictions. Dining is inside and outside. We chose to sit indoors since it was really windy out. The staff was friendly and all were wearing masks. Our cashier answered our questions about the menu, and our food was out in about 10 minutes or so. The food is not bad, but we were looking for more flavor in these burgers. They were plain and tasted somewhat dry. The fries were pretty good, and my grilled chicken burger was good yet not too appealing. Overall, the food was just okay. It was nice trying this place, but we probably won't come back. read more

Bigz is okay. Pretty decent burgers and fries. The food is just okay, but they have a decent selection of drinks and their best feature is the big fenced in area to let kids play. It'd be even better if there were a playground, but it works and it's a good place for parents to be able to sit down for 5 minutes while the kids run. read more

The place is pretty big with lots of seating . The kids loved the area outside which allowed them an opportunity to burn off the calories lol . We came here as part of a group lunch so we're excited to try the burgers for ourselves since there's always talk about it. Overall it was a solid 3.5 stars for me but since Yelp doesn't have half stars, I will give it 3 and tell you why. First the ordering is easy and simple and have a no frills menu. Pretty simple to order. I ordered my double meat burger with fries combo. I was a little disappointed since it was our first time that the young didn't go over more the selections or choices they had. I learned after that you could get home made chips as well. Nonetheless my guest and I had the burger combo. Both came out a little overdone and too well done for me. The burger had an ok flavor and perhaps because it was over cooked. The fries were delicious and definitely a win. The small problem here was that the restaurant or maybe the order taker said we couldn't get cheese on our fries for an upcharge as part of the combo. We had to buy a whole other order of cheese fries? Huh? Doesn't make sense right? Anyway paid another almost 6 for cheese fries and they were pretty. Not sure why still why we just couldn't add it but anyway. Overall the burgers were good and the buns were good. This is a real homestyle burger taste if you are looking for this. Overall I would give Bigz another try and see if a lesser cooked patty would give it more flavor and also try the home cooked chips. I will be back again. I ordered the single with sweet potato fries, and the boyfriend ordered a double with normal fries. My boyfriend can put down food and typically orders doubles or whatever is the bigger burger size from the regular, and he struggled to finish it due to the size. These are definitely Texas size burgers. I'm confused by the negative reviews about how the patties were cooked, because ours were perfect, so I'm assuming the kitchen has gotten itself together. I appreciated that the bun was separate from the patty and extras, soggy buns are never great. We also got the cookie milk shake which was bomb. My only critique would be the sweet potato fries. They tasted like they had been sitting out a bit and were soft and floppy. Still wouldn't deter me from coming back or bringing friends, though! For the person complaining about the ketchup and mustard packets, uhhh it's cost effective and sensible for takeout??
