Food was great, super crunchy chicken wings and the service was super fast. Place was small but great vibes for a quick bite.

    Spicy Chicken Bowl Angle

This time, I tried the Spicy Chicken Bowl. I've ordered from here multiple times in the past. But those orders have always been the chicken wings, which are great. The chicken in the bowl was juicy, flavorful, and the spice level was just perfect. Had a nice burn, but not a lingering burn. Rice was great, held everything together nicely. You would think rice would be easy, but too many places mess it up. But, now onto the bad parts. The pickles didn't really mesh well with the rest of the dish for me. They felt out of place with this order. The coleslaw was warm (as it always seems to be here), which kind of throws off the flavor for me since I like my coleslaw cold. The pasta noodles were just okay. Nothing wrong with them, but nothing particularly special either. But even with those setbacks, for the price $13.75 for the bowl, you get plenty of pretty good food. I still recommend this place.

I ordered many different kinds of food, and the chicken was great, and the spicy pork and pasta were so delicious. Make sure to try it in downtown

Am here this time to rate their matcha which they added to the menu. The strawberry matcha sells out quickly it seems but its really good. The brown sugar boba is great too! The service was quick and friendly.

SO GOOD. Fast service, friendly staff, tasty food. The homemade potato chips are really good. Recommend to try it if you're in the area!

Chicken Spicy Fired Fried Rice Bowl (garlic sauce not in picture)

Walked more than a mile to try it out. Not bad and not spicy (I don't usually eat spicy spicy food). Fried rice had chicken/other meat too so it's not only the lonely chicken on top. Garlic "buttery" sauce initially was great then kinda became saucy for me. The pasta salad was good too but too much saucy for me (not a fan of too much sauce / and mayonnaise like taste). Definitely worth the walk. Iced tea without boba should be cheaper (not a fan of boba).

This chicken burger spot is my favorite--I've had it more than four times already. The chicken burger is super juicy, and the pineapple inside adds a refreshing twist that balances the richness perfectly. The signature sauce is absolutely delicious, and the fries that come with it are great, too. I got it to-go, but the dine-in atmosphere seems really comfortable as well. I also ordered some wings, and the soy garlic flavor was incredibly good--so tasty that I'd definitely recommend this place to others. The only downside is that parking can be a bit tricky since it's right in the middle of downtown.

Overall: 3.3/5 (Postmates delivery) We ordered on Postmates and the food came in about 35 minutes. Everything was packaged nicely in its own box. Unfortunately after our meal, we felt unsatisfied. Sadly, the food looks better than it tasted. Better Spicy Chicken Sandwich ($11.75): The chicken in this sandwich was the best of the three. The fried chicken piece was big, had a good amount of meat, and was crispy. The flavor could have been better and wasn't consistent. It's not your typical gochujang flavor too and has more of the chili powder taste. 24 Oz Boneless Fried Chicken Cup - Sweet & Soy ($13.50): The sweet & soy tasted weird; I didn't like it. The boneless fried chicken were very small in dimensions and barely had any meat on them - kinda like popcorn chicken. Not worth it & wouldn't get again. 1/2 Pound Soy Garlic Wings ($8.95): This has the best flavor of the three. It came with 2 wings and 2 drumsticks which were pretty small. Half the potato chip fries were undercooked. The onion rings weren't bad. The shoestring fries were soggy and not crispy at all. Creamy Kimchi Fries ($5): These were thicker fries than the ones provided with the chicken sandwich and wings. These fries were also soggy and not crispy but tasted a little better. The creamy kimchi on top is really good though. I do wish they gave more of the kimchi.

If you're in the area and looking for a yummy and affordable bite come here you won't regret it! Me and my friend came here and were amazed the food is sooo delicious! We ordered the Lb of wings half garlic soy and half sweet and spicy and it phenomenal. Wings are perfectly battered and crispy and the fries are so good too. We live 35 minutes away but we can't wait to come back and try their mango habanero. This place deserves more business!!

Came across this spot after looking on Yelp and kiddo and I have an obsession with spicy chicken. Parking is a pain and you have to pay, location is sketch- we checked to make sure the doors to the car were locked while driving there. Location seems to be the only food spot and there's a lot of bridal/ formal wear stores around here. Apparently they love to tempt the babes trying to look good to squeeze into their formal dresses. It was warm inside this spot and there's a small area inside and outside for seating. Staff was cordial, not overly friendly and I heard them dropping F bombs and talking bout weed while we were seated. Now the question of food- how did it taste? Food was not great, honestly. I asked for the spicy sauce on the side of my sandwich and they put all sauce on the side. It's served with slaw, cheese and a slice of pineapple. These additions are comical really. The pineapple slice on it was cold, it would be delicious if they actually grilled it. Ohhhh the cheese .. you know the government cheese you get that that doesn't melt? That's like what they put on the sandwich - not melted and extremely cold. The wings flavor just wasn't there and portions of fries, chips, and onion rings were skimpy and they were also cold. And this isn't like a Nashville chicken spot, this is Korean fused chicken. My daughter said she will never pick a food spot again because of how bad this spot was. The reason for 2 stars is due to them playing some awesome EDM music. It was bumpin in there and made me wish I was at a festival.

Their original batter is so unique!!! I don't think I've ever tasted something like it and I mean that in a delicious way!!! Super crunchy wings that are really juicy inside. As for the sides I love that they offer onion rings and not just string cut fries. The seasoning on the fries tasted like furikake but I could be wrong. So good!!! They also offer whole fried chicken, spicy chicken, rice bowls, chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches and popcorn chicken. I just can't with all of their options and I cannot wait to try them all!!! Service was great they knew it was my first time and they took the time to explain each dish to me so I felt comfortable with my order. As for the indoor seating area it's expansive and refreshing to have AC while eating at the Santee Alleys. They even sell merch!!! I highly recommend this chicken shop!!!

Wings and fries very skimpy on the fries.
    Ryan T.

Better pound is really good. I actually got the wings that weren't really on the menu as they are a special item right now and that's the honey garlic bbq wings I believe. They're on the back of the menu. Bomb wings can't lie love the batter and how their chicken is made sauces are good they can give a lot of places a run for their money. But! Maaaaan they have to stop being skimpy on the fries man. I mean come on you spend $18 on fries and four wings no drinks and i paid 2 more bucks for their sauces. lol I had sauce left because I didn't have enough fries. I've patronized this place about three times in less than a month so clearly I like their food but show some love on the fries and give a bit more. You can tell I'm being honest look at the pictures of other peoples posts.

During a…read morelazy afternoon after visiting the Pantheon in Rome, we had our first experience with All'Antico after taking a 5 minute walk down the road. They actually had 2 separate locations flanking the pedestrian road, so there were two long lines snaking out in opposite directions. While we were waiting in line, we bumped into a couple from Spain who were also visiting. They gave my wife some personal recommendations, advising we get the blood orange soda with our sandwiches. After getting said sandwiches (the La Paradiso), we nibbled on them while walking to Sant'Ignazio of Loyola Church, which is that cathedral where there's a mirror directed up towards the murals on the ceiling and a huge selfie line. Hot damn were those sandwiches good. The thinly sliced mortadella paired perfectly with that buttery, green pistachio spread. The only challenge for my taste buds was the mild oral trauma I sustained from punching through the crispy bread; your gums started to feel it by the time you devoured your sandwich. But we liked it so much that when we later took the train to Florence, we sought All'Antico again at their original location. I thought that would be my last experience with All'Antico (unless, of course, I came back to Italy). So imagine my surprise when later that year I heard All'Antico had coincidentally opened a branch in Los Angeles, although rather awkwardly situated in Koreantown. Even though we live 30 minutes away, we made the drive immediately. There was no way this remote All'Antico location, thousands of miles from Italy, would live up to the experience I had in Rome earlier that year. But I was mistaken. Not only is the taste spot on, but the bread they serve is actually chewier and removed the gum calisthenics I suffered in Italy. And yes, they also have the blood orange soda as well. It's a little weird their location is in Koreatown, but not a big deal; we'll usually do a bingsu run afterward. Just like their locations in Italy, All'Antico is small but they do have a small collection of bar seats, some of which overlook the staff as they're making your sandwich. Be mentally prepared though to take it to go depending on how busy it is. Parking sucks too; there's street parking only, but if you come on Sunday you don't have to pay. Every so often now, we'll make the 30 minute drive just to relive that slice of Italy we experienced nearly 2 years ago. Thankfully, not a lot of people recognize how good this place is yet, as the lines aren't crazy long like they are in Italy. For all the other Yelpers in on it too, let's keep it our little secret for now.

The ingredients tasted fresh, the pate was especially good (super smooth and buttery), and I appreciated how they handled the bread. They toast it before adding the fillings and then again after, so the sandwich stays warm and crisp without getting soggy. The bread itself is a little chewy and slightly dense compared to some SGV spots, but not in a bad way - and most importantly, it doesn't destroy the roof of your mouth lol. The shop itself is clean and simple inside, with just bench seating while you wait for your order. There isn't really dine-in seating, but the apartment complex it's attached to has outdoor seating areas nearby if you want to eat your sandwich outside. One thing to note: this is not one of those super quick in-and-out banh mi shops. Our order took a bit longer than expected, though the two workers were also putting together a huge catering-style sandwich platter while we were there, so that probably contributed. Other reviews mentioned slower service too, so I kind of expected a wait going in. They also accidentally included onions and cilantro even though my husband requested no onions/cilantro, so definitely double check your sandwich before leaving if you have preferences or allergies. Flavor-wise, I personally thought it leaned a little lighter and less savory than the banh mi I'm used to in SGV, but overall I still enjoyed it. The meat to bread ratio was good, I didn't feel like they skimped on any ingredients. Maybe not the absolute best banh mi I've had in LA, but definitely a good neighborhood option for Arts District.
