Really surprised about the bad reviews. My mom and I ordered delivery from here and although it was a bit pricey and took a while the food was super delicious. I got a vegetarian Stromboli, my mom got a cheese Stromboli adding pepperoni and olives. The Stromboli's were HUGE. I got a small which easily could feed two, my mom got a large which could have fed a family of four. Everything was hot, flavorful, and stuffed to overflowing. BUGS IN THEIR FOOD!!! We ordered 12 XL pizzas for our company meeting and used the red pepper flakes that they provided on out pizzas. Some of the employees noticed some things moving on their pizzas and freaked out!! There were little red bugs crawling around on the pizza that came from the chili flakes. We checked a couple others and noticed they had bugs too!! I have a video that I added here as well. What made it worse is that when I called the lady who picked up said she told him not to take that batch because it was the batch with the bugs. She went on to say that they ordered their products from a different merchant and they were not happy with them because they are not clean. What?! The fact that they have a bug batch and a good batch though. Are we serious? The worst part was when the owner came to our business to argue with us about his bugs in the food. He was not apologetic at all (actually never apologized for anything) and wanted to see the bugs. We showed him the bugs AND showed him a video that we took. We requested our money back and he said no. He said and I quote "why would you continue to use the peppers if there were bugs in them?" What?! When I noticed he simply wanted to argue and not resolve the problem, I asked him to leave and stated that we will never buy from there again. He said he will give us a free pizza for the one that had bugs. I said no thank you. This is the worst experience I have had with a restaurant let alone customer service. read more

First time ordering pickup and definitely not the last. I really can't begin to understand how this place only has three stars and I feel compelled to write a review because I feel like some of them are just not accurate. We ordered the large pizza special that comes with a salad, a huge side of spaghetti AND lasagna and two sodas. Everything was delicious. The pizza was great and not overly greasy - had great flavor and a fantastic crust. The salad (which is huuuge) was super fresh and had cucumbers, tomatoes, and pepperocinis. Haven't tasted the lasagna or spaghetti yet but I'm sure they're equally as good. You get a ton of food for the money and also support a local business owner (who might I add is a total sweetheart). His pizza is actually really good. Well priced too. Fresh just like a diner pizza but better. His chicken kabob plate with rice and tomato along with a side salad is big enough to feed 2 people. Come for the shabby exterior in the middle of a usually hot, run-down strip mall, stay for the food! Perhaps if I'm bored one day I'll try the pizza..as for the kebab - it's awesome :-) $9.99 got me a nice little buffet of ground beef with spicing, spiced chicken kebab and wonderfully grilled chicken legs and wings. There is plain basmati rice, but the basmati rice with saffron and currants is delicious. The rice is cooked nicely and is slightly sweet and tart from the currants. A separate bar contains lettuce, cucumber, a form of raita (that's what I'd call it) and tomato. The restaurant is run by a Persian couple, they are friendly though their English is limited. Seriously, don't mind the run-down interior: while it isn't glamorous, it is clean and the hospitality of the owners and the home style goodness of the kebabs make up for any lack of decor. read more

This place is kinda rundown, but the food isn't bad. Don't think I would eat-in here as the people behind the counter don't seem to be that friendly, the place is tiny and the view is of a dirty-ass Chatsworth parking lot housing like 4 other equally-decent but run-down-looking shops. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have eaten here if my car wasn't in the shop and I didn't need a place within walking distance of my job, but so is life. All I've gotten from here is pizza and despite the sketchy exterior and interior of this joint, the pizza isn't bad. Thin crust, not too soggy with plenty of toppings. I got a slice of mushroom and a slice of pepperoni for $3.75. The only thing is the pizza just sits under a heat-lamp so it's usually lukewarm when you get it. I just received the flier for this place in the mail at work. Today I gave it a try. I opted for a meal deal for me and my coworkers which has two medium pizza with two toppings and two cans of soda for $13.99. I called in the order for delivery to my office and the woman on the phone quoted me $20 for the whole order. I asked her why it came to so much and she said tax and delivery fee. That would make the delivery fee almost $5! We still got the pizza because we were out of options for lunch. When the woman delivered the pizza, I asked her again how the order came to $20. She said it was because I added tomatoes to one pizza. I then asked her about why their delivery fee is so high and she said there is no delivery fee. None of it made sense but she was already here. All in all, these people scammed us out of a few bucks. We didn't tip for this very reason. Had they been honest and honored their advertised pricing/deal, we probably would have given that money willingly as a tip and would have been repeat customers. This will be my one and only purchase with them. My advice is to try a different local pizza shop more deserving of your business. read more

You know this type of place; small operation run by a few people, focuses on the lunch crowd, with inexpensive but filling deals. I came in the last 20 min of my hr lunch and figured quick to-go place, and eat at the desk and all would be good. I placed my order for the beef koobideh and the lady taking my order smiled and said it'd be 10 min. I said no problem and took a seat to read a bit. While reading I noticed she kept looking back at this guy on the phone nervously and didn't seem like she was doing much to prepare my order. After about 10 min (when my order should have been ready) the gentlemen got off the phone and she spoke with him, he perks up looks at me and says 'Oh I'll make your dish, it'll take 10 - 15 min' Now I'm thinking, crap! I gotta be back! So anyways, I got my order and rushed back to the office and sat down to a rushed meal. Giving it due acknowledgment the meal was decently tasty, but I'm not sure it was worth the extra time. For a location that's catering towards the lunch crowd, I was disappointed in their attention to speediness, though the food was decently tasty, I'd be reluctant to go back here unless other Kebab restaurants were just unavailable.
