She was soooo excited but no CHILD should go through what she has in her first car buying experience. The car was dead when we were going to purchase it so he replaced the battery right away. Two weeks after getting it home it died again. I reached out to see if ZORA from ZRV would help with the alternator because AAA said it was bad. Zora said he would but never came through. Two weeks after getting the alternator replaced it DIED AGAN! I reached out to Zora to just help get the car running for my 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER and he was filled with empty promises! It's DECEMBER and the car has been with us for less than 90 days and ZORA hasn't even offered to fix it! He will sell you a lemon and it will be YOUR PROBLEM after you drive off! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HIM. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ZRV UNLESS YOU YOURSELF CAN FIX HIS CRAPPY CARS! On 01/2017 I purchased a VW EOS black oak convertible from ZrV all cash, zero financing. 6 years later after having multiple issues with the engine and having it rebuilt by a local mechanic (el gordo) I noticed the car still had an ugly lien by ZrV. I don't buy or sell cars on a daily basis so I was unaware until I had to sell it. I was so mad to know that after paying all cash money these amateurs at ZrV Ignored their professional obligation to return the TITLE to the DMV within 10 days. Meanwhile I'm driving around for 6 years with a car I completely paid off and ZrV are petty and unprofessional enough to cling on to my title. Do your jobs instead of taking advantage of poor innocent customers who don't purchase cars daily like you at ZrV do and turn in the TITLE for your customers. It doesn't belong to you ZrV when someone has given all cash money for the car. No loans or ugly tangled liens.... Please be aware of this unprofessionalism and EVIL practice that ZV abuses. As a senior citizen searching the internet for a gently used car, I located one with low miles listed at ZRV Auto Sales. Although I'd always dealt with the large dealerships in the past, there were many positive reviews for this company, so I decided to check it out. Things went well at first - Zora was cordial, allowed me to drive the car without anyone accompanying me, and took a personal check for payment. I paid full price for the car, and as I was leaving, asked about a second key fob and touch up paint for a long scratch on the front fender. Zora said he would locate the key, come back in a week and he would have it and the touch up paint for me. The next week I picked up the paint, but no key. He said he would try getting in touch with the former owner. The next week I called, and no key. Next he requested a photo of the key, he would get in touch with his key guy. A week later, you guessed it...no key. Finally, I get a text saying here's the number for the key guy where you can have a key made. What!!?? It went from "I'll get you the key" to "pay for it yourself" over several weeks time. My final call was to inform him of that fact, but the call went straight to message, and get this - everytime I've tried to call since then, it goes STRAIGHT TO MESSAGE, SAYS THE MAILBOX IS FULL, AND HANGS UP! The coward's way out, I'd say. So, sorry folks, even though ZRV has a lot of good reviews, in this case, it's one star for the car being low mileage, and nothing more! For this aggravated senior, the excitement and joy of buying a new car was overshadowed by the shabby treatment received trying to get the key "that's around here somewhere" but never showed up! And now I'm wondering where, during this whole process, should I have suspected something was "off"? Zora has a great operation. His establishment is located in a business park, and he keeps his cars inside his warehouse. He maintains them in pristine condition. I learned that ZRV is family-owned with Zora's dad being the chief mechanic. His mom works there, too. Zora was very helpful and patient in answering my questions; he has outstanding customer service/sales skills and he us very knowledgeable about his ( large) inventory. But the true test of Zora's customer service came a few hours later when this damsel in distress experienced a small glitch with the car. Of course it was after-hours so the dealership was closed but Zora arranged for his mechanic to meet me. I felt a little foolish because the glitch was so minor but Zora's mechanic ( his very agreeable Dad) solved the problem in minutes. And very taken care of the tires were brand new. And Luis was very helpful as he was able to translate the paperwork in Spanish. An update on my previous feedback. The business has decided not resolve my complaint. I felt I had to offer my point of view to the business's reply - all I wanted was to resolve the issue amicably. The car had a check engine light on right after I drove off the lot for which I went back to ZRV Auto multiple times to resolve the issue. For the first time, they changed the coil pack. For the second, they did not know what the issue was and asked me to come back another day so they can get in touch with their mechanic. For the third time, I was with the mechanic and the mechanic changed the spark plug. For the fourth time, I went back to the same mechanic and was told it was a carbon build-up issue. All I had to do was to get some fuel injection cleaner and add it into my tank, for which I did. This occured over a period of about a month while the car had the check engine light on. None of the fixes solved the problem and unfortunately, during one night, the car overheated. I let the engine cool and took it to a different mechanic the next day. It turned out to be a gasket failure. Nonetheless, I was in discussion with Zora who was helpful throughout the whole process but it is quite unfortunate that we could not come to an agreement. My recommendation is to have the car checked by a trusted mechanic before any purchase. read more

!! A BAD FIRST REVIEW !! On my quest to find an affordable used luxury sedan, I came across ZRV on the web. After briefly recalling their location a few days later, I was in the neighborhood and decided to pay them a visit. The dealer (owner) welcomed me with a friendly attitude and was hassle free. He takes me to the vehicle and surprisingly enough, the car "looked" exceptional. I'm thinking it's in great condition and exceeds my expectations! So I proceed to start up the vehicle, open all the doors including the hood and test all the electrical related doo-dads & nick-nacks. Sure, there were some minor discrepancies that caught my attention but that's expected when purchasing a used vehicle. Honestly, not a major issue as it is something that can be repaired or replaced at minimal cost, especially for the "overall" condition and pre-negotiated asking price. While the vehicle was running, I notice the dealer (owner) unexpectedly closing the hood of the vehicle as I was tinkering with the interior. I then notice and smell a faint yet obvious trace of white burning smoke. Very aware of this, I proceeded as if nothing happened just to test or see if the dealer would come clean and openly apologize for the mishap? Not a word. Maybe it was just a minor fluke during my personal experience and do understand that these things happen on "rare" occasions, even at other small dealerships. But once discussing possible negotiations when the obvious mechanical issue at hand was ignored as well as and I quote "The car was recently inspected and is in good working order. There are no known mechanical or electrical deficiencies".......holds no ethics and merit to what they claim to strive for. Pros: No purchase here. Cons: Another dealership bites the dust! read more

Stopped by here first on a long weekend of car shopping. The place was difficult to find; it was in the middle of a business-park-type complex. (This may be good for the buyer, less competition to get the car you want if people can't find them? Like a hidden treasure.) We didn't have an appointment; we just knew there were a couple if cars that my dad wanted me to test drive to see if I liked the model. Zora said it was no problem, and he brought the first car over. We were very surprised with their business model! We found nothing else like it all weekend. You tell them what you want to see, then sit in the comfortable waiting room at the office while they pull cars from their warehouse storage next door. They don't hover over you or get pushy or even talk up the car too much, just tell you a bit about it and answer questions. While you test drive (on your own, if you like), they can pull up any other cars you want to see. All weekend as we visited small used lots and big dealer lots, we got more and more impressed by how things worked at ZRV! Both cars I drove were in the $8k-$12k range, one Toyota and one Scion. They were in great condition, drive perfect, very clean and right with no concerning sounds, little to no wear and tear apparent. We shopped around a LOT all week, by owner, used dealers, big dealerships, and it was very clear that the prices on the two I drove were very competitive, and a great value for the condition (and for the yelp raves about the customer service should you buy from ZRV). Neither car was exactly right for me and I eventually decided on another make and model that ZRV didn't have in their current inventory. I wish they had, because then we may not have had to shop all over So Cal 12hrs a day for 3 days straight to find it! Only a couple of days later, the Scion I drove already sold. The cars all looked nice and clean and in good shape.i ended up buying the car and the owner Zora did some in house financing for me and got me out with my Mercedes.
